  • The Z10 blackBerry OS update

    Hello!
I have BB z10 stl100-1 and I had never updated my device with an official firmware. I had the version 10.2.0 * and I tried to update phone, then I tried to update to link to BB, but it says I have the latest version, but I know that's not everytime. Why BB does not officially updated the device? Its a long time since BB 10.2.1 released.

Why I can't install just the os developer or leak? Why it does not download the full official OS on the site?  I bought this phone and thought that it will be official support, but it sucks, no official update.

Official update releases are completely at your operator, not BlackBerry. Your carrier Gets the update, then proceeds to test and evaluate it for sometimes weeks or months before you release it to you. The fact that you have not 10.2.1 surprises me because I thought he was out just about everyone now.

A couple of things to try: remove your SIM card and disable the location Services on your phone and then plug it into your computer and go to the www.blackberry.com/update of your browser. Could provide an update. If it doesn't, try looking in these forums under "BONES of 10 BlackBerry Device Software" for instructions on upgrading your operating system.

  • BlackBerry software update 10 10.3.1.1779

Hello. I use a Q5 and recently received a notification of a software update required 10.3.1.1779. The download process and the installation went well. The problem is when my unit wants to restart. It restarts every time, it stops immediately and restart again. It would happen a few times until the screen BLUE before stopping with the red LED flashes.

    These are things I've done:
    1. charge my camera
    2. hold the power button
3 press and hold both volume buttons
4 connect my device BlackBerry link and reload my camera

Only the figure 4 turn on the device. However I did it for about 5 times since the software would automatically update and ask for a reboot. It worked fine when the update has not been installed.

Yesterday, I tried again and got my solution.
    Solution:

1 install update on phone (do not restart yet)
    2. connect the phone to the pc
    3. install the blackberry link update
4 reboot the phone when it is connected to the pc

After that my phone worked normally again

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry identity update

I searched the archives for more than an hour and couldn't find anything on this problem...

Since I installed Blackberry App World 3.0, whenever I go to BAW it tells me I have to install a Blackberry identity update, if I say 'no' he throws me and I say 'yes', it takes about 20 minutes, with a full reboot... and then I'll come back an hour later and it me instlal once again...

I am better I installed it at least 50 to 60 times and it's not bad, it STILL requires that I re - install again whenever I click on Blackberry App World.   It would be one thing if this installation was fast, but it's not, it requires a complete reboot and rakes anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes.

What is the problem and how to fix it?

Well, I finally understood the problem... when I connect the phone to the Blackberry Desktop Manager and use the Application Loader, it re - install Blackberry OS software, roll back to an earlier version, which requires a reinstallation of the recent Blackberry identity update.

So, the solution is not to use Blackberry Desktop Manager.  Solved!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry "BOLD" updated

Hello, I bought my first blackberry a few weeks back and so far I'm in love. How ever I have one question that I havn't found another answer anywere so I registered to post on this.

I synchronize my "BOLD" between 2 computers both running Desktop manager 4.7 but they say that the bold is software update required before each synchronization. Danish range of Blackberry messenger update same suggestions. Also both pc suggest different upgrades. At first I ignored it, but then I thought that I click on update, but when I did, he went through the entire course of the upgrade and at the end, said that the "BOLD" had not enough memory for the update

I checked the two "BOLD" memory and SD card for memory card and it said:

Aplication free 18.7 MB of space

The device 857 MB free memory

Map of free memory 1.2 GB of free space

Any ideas? I'm doing something wrong?

    Thank you

No, you don't do anything wrong.

Look at the Options > about, third line down, starting with a 'v.4.xxx '.

  • Passport for blackBerry cannot update Passport SE to 10.3.2.2836

    Hello

A few days ago, I bought a new passport Silver Edition.

I can't restore my contacts and schedule the backup of my old passport.

The error message in the Blackberry link is by analogy: cannot restore Contacts Lokal / calendar data because of different versions of the OS.

    The Passport OS version: 10.3.2.2836

Silver Edition OS passport version: 10.3.2.2474

But I can't update the Passport SE. Each new OS research said: you have the version currently installed. No new version of operating system available.

How can I update my passport SE to 10.3.2.2836?

Or how can I transfer my contacts a calendar data to my old passport to new passport SE?

    Thank you in advance!

Excellent... I'm glad that you found that. Others refer to:

Oh and sorry... I would have really thought this for you. Apology.

  • BlackBerry Blackberry Software Update Fail on Z10 10

Hello world! I am trying to update the latest version of the software on my Z10 using WIFI BT, but he arrived at 34MO and continues to be paid to "interrupted update", I did that there is enough storage space in my camera but still the same events. It makes me crazy! Someone else had this problem? Have you found a solution? Any comments will be greatly appreciated.

I recommend not preforming a more air day because they tend to miss from time to time due to the fall of the signal. I recommend using the BlackBerry link to device software update, so there were no interruption as long as the usb cable is not disconnected.

  • Passport for blackBerry OS update problems

Hello! I have a problem with my passport. I can't restore some data (e-mail accounts, telephone directory) of my Z10 with the Passport. I noticed that my Z10 works OS 10.3.2.2836 while my passport is on OS 10.3.2.2474. I read somewhere that you cannot restore such data of a more recent OS to an older OS which is fair enough.

The thing is that my passport only makes available new version of the OS for download. I went to check the updates once or twice and I get the message that I have the latest version available on my phone. So when I try to restore my Z10 link data I can restore only photos, applications etc. I tried to restore wireless via the switch of the device and it does not work either.

    Help, please!

    Hey go!

Thanks for the tip. I browsed various BB forums and found this link:

    https://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/BlackBerry-10-functions-and/upgrading-OS10-devices-using-aut...

allows users to manually upgrade the operating system on different handsets of BB. I just downloaded the software, plugged in the Passport via USB, disabled link, double clicked on the program and it automatically upgraded to 10.3.2.2876! Amazing! With the new software it restored everything perfectly, not a single piece of missing data.

Really impressed that BB allows you to do these types of updates. BB4EVER

I tried to update my software (version 10.2.1.2977), but every time I do it just indicates the update has failed. Access to internet is very good and it is connected to a power source, but nevertheless does not seem to work.

You did not reveal what software update method, you try, so I think that you try updating wireless on the device. I recommend to renounce this attempt and instead try the following:

  • Link to Blackberry after updating my Dev Alpha

    Hey all,.

so today, I upgraded my Dev Aplha the last OS, 10.9.9.339. Before that, I was able to load my apps on the device using the IDE, but now it is not recognizing the device. At the time where I stick the USB to the Alpha, it displays a message that I should install the Blackberry link.

I find the file (Finder, OS X) and launched the program installation, but when I arrive at the current stage to download it, it says:

The download of the update failed with the following error: a server with the specified host name is not found.

    Care what you think?

    Hello

Had the same problem... on Windows also failed, but you have a button to install the archive. MacOSX so now, I'm trying to remember the steps as the app install disappear:

-Right-click on the .app "Show Package content" icon

-in "happy / Resources", you have a big pkg file. Select, then open

    -Install it

-all is well and mac will have to restart your device

-restart did reconnect your device Dev

-You see some popup everything is ok

-now, I could open Momentic and see your device Dev

    It may be useful

  • BlackBerry 10 updated the link

My understanding BB has updated the link software to fix some minor bugs which have resulted in a less than perfect data transfer of older phones as well as allowing you to restore the operating system to BB10. When we try to transfer the data shape Bold 9780 for my daughter to his new Z10; the Z10 locked up and we had to send it back and get a replacement. She sold her 9780 before the replacement Z10 arrived, so I used the BB Desktop and created a backup of his 9780 before proceeding with a security wipe. Is it possible to get the backup of the data transferred to the replacement Z10 now. I thought borrowing a 9780 use as a "mule" to reload the data from my daughter and then use the link to transfer data. I'm hoping that it could be a way to convert the backup file in a format that the BB10 can recognize. Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Hey JJESSON,

BlackBerry link includes the old backups, are called "Backups of Legact". Just connect the 10 BlackBerry device to the computer, and then select backup. Select the icon of the folder on the BlackBerry link and navigate to the location of the backup file 9780, it will be called a "legacy of backup."

Note however that not all the information is transferred from one the 9780 for the z10 as some of the parameters/data are not supported on the z10 since the device 9780 6.0. Check out the below Knowledge Base for more information about the supported data :

  • BlackBerry Z10 updates in my world

HI - can anyone confirm or not if it is normal in the case of Blackberry World-->--> My World--> my games Apps & to see updates for other devices that use my Blackberry ID? When I discovered this on my Z10 I see updates for software that I ONLY installed on my Playbook and have absolutely NO intention to install on my Z10.

    Thanks - Julian.

Where you are now is the list of programs that you downloaded before available for your phone, a program you have on your PlayBook are also available for the Z10, and are program as a basic program and they will be put back up as soon as you make an update with the phone
