BlackBerry App WIFI turns off on Z10 10.3.2.556

I've been 10.2.1.xxx for a long time. Then I upgraded to 10.3.1.xxx. In a week or two, 10.3.2.xxx became available. After that AT & T has done 10.3.2.556 (10.3.2.858) available, and I upgraded to that.

Since my upgrade to 10.3.2, my WIFI off by itself from time to time, but especially at night. It is not uncommon to find off WIFI when I look at my phone first in the morning (she is always loaded in the night).

Anyone else seen this? Any idea of what is the cause? No idea how to fix?

Thank you.

Hello and welcome to the community!

When things go wrong, after a 'update' or an 'upgrade' (as opposed to a correct and complete any level of the OS installation), the most common thing to try is a reload of the OS. Sometimes, those up-to-date process leave in place corruption that a clean install would be able to heal.

Official methods, which will be controlled as to what exact OS versions are available:

Non-official methods, which are cleaner and allow you to choose a version of the OS that maybe your carrier (or anyone they control your offers) delays in approval:

Of course, before you start this, you want a good backup link, a manual copy of the memory of your device to your PC and complete documentation of your configuration (identification information of account, adding applications, configurations, etc.). Sometimes, restoring a backup returns unit corruption even, must be eliminated and reconfiguration from scratch can solve that.

Good luck!

  • 9.3.4's 6 iOS iPhone Wifi turns off when the phone is locked. How to solve this?

Hey! I have a 6 - iOS 9.3.4 - 16 GB iPhone. My phone WiFi turns off eventually when I lock it... The problem is that I get no notification because of this problem. I'm too lazy to try troubleshooting for this problem, just read a lot of advice, but it had a bad feedback. How would I fix this? Thank you.

It is not a problem. This is a design feature which is present in all iPhones and all versions of iOS for 9 years. WiFi turns off 30 seconds after the phone goes to sleep to save battery life. If you want to keep it you must connect the phone to the power.

  • WiFi turns off to physical stimulation

    Hey community,.

I have a R400, model 7440DK5 who served me very well on almost 3 years at this point. However in the last month or so he had a very specific problem: wifi turns off when the laptop gets a physical stimulus, for example if I pick it up and move it to another table. The wifi does not return until I have to reboot the machine.
What is particularly curious about it, is that the problem appears due to something physical that jostle the laptop it is resolved by restarting the system, suggesting that it's a software/firmware issue.

My laptop is still under warranty so if anyone can point me towards ideas then I'll return. I was wondering if it could be a common problem with a simple solution, although I searched the web and found no big thing for similar issues.

    More details about the problem:

-When this happens, it is as if the forgotten computer that he had an adapter wifi at all. All the related wifi elements disappear from the Device Manager and there is no longer an option to connect to a wireless network.

    -The wifi light

    -Bluetooth remains functional as usual

-L' laptop doesn't have to be about to be pushed around. is he is asleep or in hibernation and it moves, it will likely resume without wifi.

-Sometimes restart does not solve the problem. If this is the case usually works part him off (and stationary) for 5 or 10 minutes and when I turn it on, the wifi will be on again.

-Battery vs load seems to make no difference

    I tried the things:

-Updated the driver (tried both 13 and 14)

    -Switch the radio switch

-Not allowing the device turns off to save power

    Thank you all!

Could be simply oxidation. Remove the card and it resettlement in the slot just maybe. It happens over time in some connections and varies with the metal used in the connections/connectors of the slot.

  • BlackBerry 8520 smartphones turned off and won't turn on! Help!

I may be wrong pressed a few buttons (sleep) and I woke up to see my vocation as a voice configuration 8520 and it was completed at 98% (so I thought it was better to leave full since he was almost finished). I woke up again a few hours later and she's not coming. I removed the battery several times, but only the red light comes on for a few seconds then it turns off and the screen remains blank... What I've done wrong and what I would do!

Leave the device in 2 or 3 hours of charging and then, still connected to the charger cable, remove the battery of the device a few seconds and plug it back. If it starts - let - the charges to 100% (check the Options > status for the percentage). If it is not restart on the first attempt, leave several hours. I had a charge for two days before, she came back to life after extreme exhaustion of the battery. Every 3-4 hours with the device plugged into the charger, you can remove and replace the battery to see if it restarts.

If this does not work, if your BlackBerry remains powered turned off with a black screen, follow the instructions below. The only indication of life may be the flashing red indicator light in the upper corner. Nothing seems to wake and Desktop Manager does not recognize that a device is connected.

    (1) make sure that you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed.
    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/services/desktop/
    (2) on your PC, go to start > run and copy and paste the following line exactly (i.e. with quotation marks):

    'c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader\loader.exe' /nojvm

    (3) the Application Loader Wizard will appear - click on "next".
    (4) in the ' connection: ' drop-down menu, you should see "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN". Click on the button "next".
    (5) you should see a list of applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Press Next and finish, and that you are well on your way to get your Blackberry to life. Just unplug and let the process finish completely.

NOTE: If you do not display the list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead to see the message "the Blackberry Desktop Software has no Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator', then you must download the Blackberry operating system for your support and your device.
    http://www.BlackBerryFAQ.com/index.php/BlackBerry_Operating_System_Downloads
Just select the appropriate type of carrier and network, select your Blackberry model from the list and download the latest version. Install this download and follow the steps above again and you should be on the right track.

  • WiFi turns OFF

How many people have an iPad 2 air that has a wifi that turns off itself? Not disconnected, but literally the wifi switch must be off by itself?

Apple does not seem to acknowledge this problem as a known problem. They advise to check routers, reinstall your iOS, etc, but I've seen enough forums with users that describes exactly what I saw. The Wifi in the settings switch turns OFF by itself. Some users have reported that if this happens, put iPad in airplane mode and the wifi goes on. Now how weird is that? Except that... it works!

Apple has been kind enough completely exchanging my three month old iPad, as I had lots of help online with Apple in the record. I won the new iPad and within two days, he was doing the same thing.

And the thing about airplane mode turn on wifi back without touching the wifi settings. It's much too much of a coincidence for me... A second new device with a facility completely fresh iOS does the same thing, the same thing that many users report online and same setting change apparently independent (airplane mode do wifi works;) Airplane mode is to stop wireless features!) fix it... temporarily btw.

It seems obvious that an iOS glitch is behind it, or a hardware problem and Apple and the forums that follow (influence?) Apple needs to recognize that.

An iPad that turns off wifi sort of defeats the purpose of a tablet device. PS cell phone users: if cell is lit when this happens, you start to use data like crazy if you are at home and unsuspecting, you are in streaming and download and NOT connected to wifi. Beware! Now, I resort to disable cellular data to avoid involuntary consumption of data at home.

Apple can you please aggregate all problems of this nature and get it into the hands of tech support. Again, this is all getting kicked out of a network; It's literally the cursor goes Wifi in settings without the user from doing anything that invites you to the OFF position.

Apple is probably not reading this... But I typing this on an iPad 2 Air wifi & model cell phone, and I've never seen this problem. That being said, I usually mode aircraft and Wifi enabled, in order to avoid the accidental use of cellular data.

  • LaserJet Pro M251nw color 200: Wifi turned off but still broadcasting

    Hello

    First, forgive my English.

I have a HP LaserJet Pro 200 M251nw color, it has a capacity of wifi. Because the printer is connected with a cable ethernet to my router, I don't think that he had to use the wifi built into the printer.

Thing is, when if I disable the wifi of the printer, and even if I disable "wifi direct to print", I can still see the SSID of the printer on my devices House (200 HP-Print-a6-LaserJet color).

I looked on the forum and I tried the 'factory reset' turn, unplug the printer and taken, wait 15 seconds... etc. It did not work. I also installed the latest firmware.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :-)

    Hello revlib,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

Turn off the wireless directly on Color LaserJet Pro 200 M251nw should have disabled the SSID broadcast. Since the display before disabling has not resolved, try the built-in webserver (EWS).

To access the built-in Web server, you will need to enter the IP address for the M251nw in the address bar of your web browser. The IP address may be collected by touching the Setup program () > reports > Network Summary.

Once in the SAP, click on network > wireless direct configuration > select and apply.

    Windows 8 pro 64-bit

    Model

    HP Pavilion dv7-7030us Notebook PC

    BIOS version: F.24.

Here are things I tried and JUST does not work.

    1. Updated all the software of HP Pavilion dv7-7030us Entertainment Notebook PC drivers & downloads
    2. Updated the software and the driver for Intel Centrino Wireless - N 2230 of their site.
    3. "Sleep" mode-> and press f12
    4. Remove all network drivers and reboot
    5. reinstalled button wifi driver
    6. Reinstalled HP power management software
    7. Network Diagnostics
    8. Order, service started WLAN then restarted
    9. Have you tried several different Bios
    10. etc all possible solutions provided to the Board of Directors

After all this, my wifi says OFF and still grayed out and can't handle it to activate it.

Right now, if I press f12, it only turns on and outside airplane mode and it is still organge, want it white.

Please please help, I need to go about my business in a few days and would like to fix this ASAP!

Thanks for the quick response I wasn't expecting it.

I'll be revisiting this post every now and then.

    Hello

Okay, so you're saying this isn't an approx... OK, lets consider from the beginning... go to settings > battery. Under the graph of the battery, you will have a list of the app with features that use the battery. Top of the list is the application that uses the most power.

Another thing... back to settings > use of data, and then select the WiFi tab on top. Again, you will see a chart and underneath a list of applications that uses wifi in sending or receiving data.

Can you see anything out of the ordinary?

  • BlackBerry Torch 9800 Blackberry Smartphones constantly turn off, won't stay

I would like to apologize in advance if this question has been asked before, I tried looking for a solution to this problem, but I can't seem to find the right answer.

Today, after a full day of use my phone normally & no problem my phone turn off automatically. I didn't think much, I just turned it back on. After doing this, I noticed that he couldn't quite charge throughout the Blackerry splash screen. I initially attributed a low battery, because he was dying. Now that I'm home and I plugged my phone in charge that the real problem begins to manifest.

He's trying to turn it on every time, it is trying to load via the Blackberry home screen, sometimes it gets fully load, sometimes it doesn't. If it isn't, it shuts off and restarts this whole process again. If it does get through the splash screen, I can access my home screen, but after a few seconds it stops again.

I did a battery pull, even removed my card a few minutes - no change. I thought that I could reload the software and restore everything, but it will not even stay on long enough for me to check all parameters in this topic.

Does anyone have advice for me? I hope that my phone is not quite dead.

    Info on the device

Hello and welcome to the community!

Please try this sequence... Note that, throughout the whole 4h15m process, your BB should stay connected to a good charger (not the USB PC):

    1. With battery, connect your BB to the wall charger
    2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not
    3. Remove the battery
    4. Wait 15 minutes
    5. Insert the battery
    6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

This has been known to "revive" some BBs.

It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

    1. Get a known good and already fully charge battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
    2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem.

Good luck and let us know!
