  A CapsLock indicator should be part of installation Win7 OS normal and here's why.  I use a brand new Microsoft Wireless Keyboard 2000 s/n 0356100416937.  I can send you a photo or the retail sales receipt if you doubt this statement.  It is there no CapsLock indicator on the keyboard itself, probably to extend the life of the battery.  I also use an IOGEAR KVM switch to facilitate the transition between multiple computers.  Emule KVM switch a keyboard of 102 standard keys, so even if I load the last Ko-driver (MS Intellitype 8.2) the pilot reports Microsoft keyboard not detected.  Therefore, there is no way to determine when the CapsLock key is active.  If you have ever tried to enter a long password upper-lower case with the CapsLock key in the wrong state, so you can imagine my frustration with this keyboard.

  If you talk about the device password then simply change SIM card will not disable the device password a user defined here device. But if we enter too bad password (default is 10) then our device will begin a wipe removing all user data of this unit and must start all over again.

  But if it's BlackBerry ID password, then it will be different! If we go in too bad password for our BlackBerry ID then it locks us, first for 15 minutes and so on. In this situation, must reset the BlackBerry ID password, but it will never be allowed to wipe our BlackBerry, refer to this Article:

  Hello.

  From the start, I try to stay calm and professional, objective. Pretty sure I missed the mark, but then, read on...

  I'm having some problems with the OS 10.3.1 update. Before someone says to the research councils, I. For hours. On various Internet sites. I would appreciate (but I'm not optimistic for) an official response from BlackBerry.

  1. I use a Z30. Carrier is Rogers Wireless (Canada) updates are off. Yet, incredibly, the update came down in any case, when I was driving, didn't know until I got home. Device to reboot and now 10.3.1xxxx is on my smartphone.

  QUESTIONS:

  1. the screen turns off. Whenever I wake up, the display is enlarged. I have to move and move and gesture to get the display to fit the screen, so I can't unlock the phone.

  2. the home screen is not editable and is the default value. Now I have to drag to the hub or my applications. Twice = 1/2 labour productivity.

  3. the assistants touted what, exactly? As far as I know is when I call via voice Bluetooth headset, the call would be (75% of the time) be done. The other 25% of the time, I tell him 'Call MOM Home' is not the same thing as "search battery charge. Yes, my bluetooth is a very expensive, side that has no problems of recognition with another device. Now, the vocal part (Assistant?) does not ALL calls. At best, it offers me suggestions, usually not related (Linda <> Tom) and wasting my time reading on several TELEPHONE NUMBERS. Good grief, if I knew that the darn phone number, I just say, call (phone number). It would be faster than the sitting through it all. In otherwise, voice Assistant something doesn't do much for me. I put it, as far as I know, to do the minimum, not interact with everything on my phone.

  4. Although the new camera app now (finally!) makes the colors more or less correctly, whereas before everything was tinged blue, I'm not a fan of the new positioning of the controls. It's ridiculous to put the video button next to the "Take a photo" button. The touch sensitivity is therefore, that I find myself video recording rather than take a picture wanted - and the time is lost. I really miss being able to touch the screen to take a photo. Now I need to aim a small dot at the bottom. If I wanted an iPhone, I would have bought an iPhone!

  5 more at the front of the camera, it is now difficult to take pictures. As in, I touch the icon to bring up the list of photos, and the last shot never appears. I have to slide to find. And in a different direction now.

  6. in the hub, in particular, the "select multiple" used to be in the middle of the menu. Now I have to scroll down to find and activate it.

  7. What is with the battery drain honking? More DIY required on my part to get it back to waiting for 4 days, that I used to enjoy?

  LACK OF UPDATED FEATURES:

  1. I was really hoping that this last updated with the NUMBER of the entry of the phone display. As job 1, 2 work, etc. I find it helpful to assign the direct number always as job 1, then toll-free as job 2, reception work 3, home knit 4, and so on. Then it is easy to use (or was) to call the number I want without knowing what really is the number of votes. I was hoping also that the update which would therefore eliminate offensive message 'next time, just say call xxxxx Mobile 2' or something else. I'm bloody well would be if there was anything in contacts to display the sequence of numbers.

  2 calendar. Seriously, why can't set a reminder for somewhere between 3 and 7 days? I'm so tired of defining a day (7-3), making the calculation in my head to work around weekends or other events) and then having to update the reminder when I get to the range of BlackBerry - approved 3 days. Other smart phones allow a custom setting. I would also ask, put first the custom reminder. We do not do scroll all the way down to find!

  3. I would like to put my icons used on the fricking HOME SCREEN! I don't like the cutesy pictures. I'm trying to do my job more quickly and easily as possible.

  4. fix the darn voice control mechanism. I bought expensive pieces of Bluetooth. All I want to do is voice component. That's all.

  5. get some control over the spelling. There is no way to change the words that are "learned" through the monitoring of its use.

  6. enough with the U.S. - marketing. Mountain time is Mountain time. Not US - MST. I'm not picking up something like that, I don't like that who commits an offence. He is as stupid as the settting (like Apple) zones in the "Calgary, Alberta." I do not live in Calgary. I don't live in the GENERIC Mountain time zone.

  7. taking the floor, I also speak English. Not American English U.S. - spelling. How about giving some love to the Canada

  8. give me the option to restore the update. Or at least choose what parts I want.

  9 extend the supported file formats. At this stage, I can only load documents on my smartphone if they are Adobe or Microsoft Office. Here's the thing - I operates in the universe of Corel WordPerfect. If the Z30 is limited in what I can / can not do with it. Why the hell can't I just copy my FILES to my phone? Even if I can't change them, I can use the chip memory 64 GB huge like a flash drive to take my files with me when I travel. I don't always take a computer... sometimes I use which is destined. More have them on the phone SHOULD allow me to email them or send in other ways... whether or not BlackBerry to read.

  REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE:

  Best - out an immediate UPDATE to solve these problems and to add the features I pointed out above. I'm probably not the only one faced with limitations integrated interface and the information screens.

  Please tell me how I can restore / uninstall / whether this "update".

  I shudder to think that the only solution is to backup, recovery, and then reload the Z30. Others have tried and failed.

  MORE VENTILATION;

  The only reason why I'm still on BlackBerry, it's that the questions and to some extent a difference of perspective in regard to the available phone / features are even less problematic on BB Z30, they're on ios or android platforms. Quite in my opinion. But then, I'm the one with a frustration level into the red zone.

  Go into your settings > accessibility > and disable Mode magnify.

  If you do this, I would like to read the rest of your post and see what I can help with... and Yes, staying quiet is a great feature... I understand that you might be frustrated.

• BlackBerry BB Z30 10 fall BB Protect Server connections.

  Been struggling with this problem for the last two months. Installed 10.3.2.2339 and made all the adjustments.  Connected to the BB Protect Server.  The functions of effective protection.  5 hours later, connect to the server to Protect.  Impossible to perform all Protect functions with PC or connection of the handset browser connection.  Measures taken to correct:

  Warm reboot.

  Cold reboot (Power off-Power on).

  Re-register on the network.

  Re-synchronization connections.

  Turn on/off WiFi networks and portable extinguished/turned on.

  Toggle the option protect combined/off voltage.

  Enable/disable location services.

  All these actions still result in 'no joy '.  Cannot order any action combined the site Protect Protect.  Cannot locate the device on the Web site.

  However, if I reload the OS (autoload or "sideload" using Knowyou) Protect becomes fully functional.  But, if the phone is sitting for several hours (e.g. overnight) it goes back to be insensitive to all orders to Protect from the Web site.

  Also, when in the "disconnected" State Protect app on the handset cannot connect (displays the circle of rotation of 'work') and tries to turn off Protect ('off' move and enter the password ID BB) are not successful.  The application will appear to turn off but if I got arrow to the settings menu then on BB Protect menu option to return, the Protect cursor always displays 'on '.

  Looks like a non-persistent connection to the server of protection or some sort of "dead time".  In any case, it seems that if we really need to use protection features (such as loss or theft combined) you will have to rely on the person who has the phone to reinstall the OS, so you can order a lock, wipe, or report it stolen.  Jac

  Spoke in support of BB from the carrier, who politely raised the question to the BB in the Philippines call center (which were nice but totally incompetent... the guy told me it only works if the phone is lost... wft?)

  So I have 2 Z30 (mine and my wife) and they both exhibit this behavior.  They time-out during the night and will not reconnect unless the operating system is reinstalled.

  If all goes well, a developer or programmer is read and can take a look for us.  WE love phones, but the ability to locate remote and, if necessary, wipe the phones of the Pavilion was an important purchasing factor.

  Have updated to 10.3.2.2789 and Protect works first but out crapped after a night's sleep.  When it works, it works perfectly, but after a few hours, the Protect feature is lost on both phones and unless reinstall us the OS, he disappeared.

  UPDATE:

  Just downloaded and installed OS BB v10.3.2.2813 (SW. 10.3.2.253).  Installed on both our Z30s (STL100-3) and issues that we know in other OS iterations with BB Protect functions are fixed in this version.  Don't know where changes in this iteration of the OS/SW version have been made, but now we have suffered and the persistent connections with to protect server and all the functions of protection (lock, message, locate, etc) work all day without interruption.  All functions perform after handsets "sleep" through the night on the charger.  A large fixed.  Thank you, BBRY!

• BlackBerry Z30 several problems after resoring Blackberry link Z30.

  I worked on a problem of battery with the help of Blackberry and they had me back up my Z30 via Blackberry link to try an earlier version of the operating system. When I restored my phone (full restore), Miss me my apps Android installed via the snap and my email is no longer works.

  The email says my accounts are not valid and "some accounts have not responded." I returned to passwords, but that did not help. Are there known issues with email recovery on the last link of Blackberry under OSX?

  I thought that my Android Waze and Outlook would have questions about recovery and I remember coming across an article on the restoration of their but can't find it now. Any help or is there a collection of articles on the problems of recovery that I could look at?

  If you already work with formal support, why did they not answer these questions for you? In any case, la.2160 is quite old now... 3247 is up-to-date, and I recommend that you move to the top, via Knowyou:

  If things are still not good, so I recommend the following very clean process:

  1. WIPE on the device
  2. Operating system support via the automatic charger (toujours.3247)

  3. WIPE on the device
  4. Only restore settings, nothing else
  5. Re-enter your password email and re - get your add on apps

  Otherwise, remove step 4 (do not restore anything) and rather reconfigure everything from scratch.

  PS - Oops... I just noticed you said OSX, which means that you are on a MAC, which means that you cannot use Knowyou or autoloader... only work on PC, but provide methods to update your device OS very clean and easy.

  Yes, the Playbook folding blade charger (1-8) Premium is certainly consistent.

  The stand can have different measures. I do not know. I might try tomorrow.

  I received my Z30 and set up my accounts 3 e-mail, twitter, Facebook and linked.

  I noticed that all my followers on twitter 1500 had drawn in my contacts folder. It is the same for all my contacts links in and facebook contacts.

  Is there anyway to undo that and just return to my phone contacts?  It is a real pain in the butt.

  The phones come with the base installed OS. Once the phone is activated and working, you should be able to install the updates. Make sure that your carrier is allowed for the Blackberry service. Make sure your phone is on a Wifi hotspot to make updates. The updates are rather large and if your plan isn't big enough it will eat your data and can be costly. The updates can be 1 GB or more.
