  Sorry, but no one can help others, then yourself to recover the password that you put on your device, BlackBerry devices are safer devices, it does allow you to access this device without a correct password, if you enter too wrong password it will begin a process of erasure.   You must enter

  • d > e > b > alt > 2 > alt > 5 > alt > 4 > alt > 2 > alt > 6
  • to get deb25426 on your device.

  For example, while on the BlackBerry keyboard, you think you type deb25426 , you actually type deb2dsef . So take your time and enter the password.

• BlackBerry Smartphones "BOLD" doesn't have an option "to appeal for locking. Any help?

  We have a COMPUTER policy to allow BB to "make calls during locking. Everything I read says leave it on the bb @ options/security options/general settings... I don't see this menu option.

  I need to upgrade the software on all of my "BOLD" back this feature? The option was in this menu in the BB 8800.

• BlackBerry smartphones HELP! Locked out!

  So this is my first Blackberry - I have always been a user of Palm (Boo to the PALM).  I was set up on my new curve and be conditioned as I was in the past with my Palm Treo - I put in place a lock code on my curve.

  The first time that it is locked, I typed my password, and it was beautiful.  The second time - I swear I typed the code lock correctly, but he says that it is incorrect.  I know that I'm not hitting, but he repeats to me the password is wrong and now I'm down to the last test. I don't want my last try, if it will erase all my info.

  When I entered the password initially - I used a series of 4 numbers (I was not focused on the numbers and letters. I tried these 4 keys with and without the num lock on - and he says always incorrect.

  What can I do?  I even have not been able to back up my contacts again and can't bear the thought of losing!

  Thanks for the reply d_fisher.  I was in a panic.  What I was reading was preparing to me to have all my information deleted.  I took your advice on my last attempt, I typed in the key sequence and left Cape Town & the off num - and it worked.  Tonight was my lucky night I guess

  Hello. I'm new to this forum and hope someone can help out. I have a locked Z10 and I am on a mobile phone service provider if it makes a difference. I called AT & T, and they suggested that I try to back up my phone by logging into Blackberry link and/or Blackbery Blend. I tried to do both and link does not allow me to log on because it recognizes my phone is locked. I logged on Blackberry Blend using my ID BB however it says I need to activate BlackBerry mixture on my phone to synchronize. I obviously can't do it because I don't remember my password.

  Is another that tries to enter any other passwords incorrect 10 times and my phone being wiped, there anything else I can do to unlock my phone? My phone will be usless after that my device is deleted?

  In addition, via PC/browser, log in the website to protect, in using BBID credentials that are associated with the device. Through this interface, you have the option to change your password for the device-lock. I saw the option on this screen... but never tried to use it effectively, I would be interested in your results.

• BlackBerry Z10 help BB steal, has failed to protect

  I had a Z10 HAD. Until the day I had a little accident and someone stole.

  The SIM card is blocked, the police informed but we all know that they will not go start a hunt at the national man for the thief, so everything is futile at this end.

  I am very hopeful that Blackberry Protect would do anything, nothing, but it was of no use. Seriously now I do not understand... Blackberry phones start after reboot up to this as connected. The phone is registered in my name with Blackberry, so how can someone possibly re-record and BB doesn't even know a thing?

  The Protect everything is useless if it doesn't even recognize that the phone has an owner, the guy who is supposed to use the phone not any random email that anyone who challenges.

  All that I want is to get just a message to the thief that I wil pay to return to its desired location and that's it.

  And btw, I loved this phone. Really ingenious OS, excellent material, robust and everything.

  Should I lose hope and give up? Or is there sort of BB could help me?

  The logic behind this is that if the legitimate owner of the phone forget password (and I see this from time to time on the forums) they will lose their data, but not their phone, or in any way make their phone useless. In addition, to get a 'warning' the phone will be reported and you can do it now.  It's just that the phone (I hope) gets blocked.

  There is another method, not sure that someone is using now.  Many years ago, my wife has forgotten his password on his Nokia and exhausted all his 'essays '.  And then the locked phone as if it was brick.  She had to call Nokia USA and prove he was her phone.  Then they sent him a unlock code from time and she was back in business.  I imagine that Nokia is real sick of dealing with this method.

  Suddenly my 9300 does not accept my BlackBerry ID password even though I know it's good. I tried to reset it with the forgotten password link, but that didn't work, so reset it on the Blackberry site via my iPad. Can log on successfully on the iPad and managed to check the ID in BlackBerry protect just once and it is back to the top. My phone is now locked and I have exhausted my 10 tries to unlock 9 but the phone will not accept this new password, and I am in danger of all my data be deleted. What can I please. If I try again and that data is deleted will I then go into my device and be able to perform a reinstallation of data from the Web site.

  Then suffices to you very explicitly to say exactly what the screen displays when it's asking to specify this password. What you have described so far, I deduced that it is the device lock password - that only the user can create. If you did not (you are sure that someone else did not do this for you?), so maybe I'm wrong my deduction. A clear description of your part could help me understand.   I have a BB of Q10. I did a cleanup of security and after doing this, I got an error on the screen (www.bberror.com/bb10-0015)

  I tried to reload my software from the link of blackberry, now I have a blank screen with a red led will blink twice and repeating.

  The blackberry link does not end and gives me this;

  Software update has encountered an error.

  An error occurred while updating your device software.

  Encountered unknown error (A:0x000000A2)

  I also tried to go on my Local C drive > program files > common files > reasearch in motion > application loader

  Then, I get this msg:

  The Blackberry Desktop Software doesn't have a Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer.

  Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator.

  I am at my whits end... HELP PLZ
