  Updated for win7 to win 8.   The printer KODAK ESP 3.2 stopped working.   Then, there was a problem with my graphic card Radeon X 1650 SE started giving me problems.   Windows 8 said that the catalyst library program was not compatible with windows 8, and when I tried to update, the update stopped at halfway.

• Software BlackBerry BlackBerry Link cannot connect to my Z30

  Someone at - it a problem connecting the link to BlackBerry for the Z30 on Windows 7?  I tried to reinstall the BlackBerry Link software but for some reason, it does not detect my Z30 via the USB cable.  Windows says 'RIM Network Device - no driver found' and "BlackBerry Smartphone - unplugged unit".  I did a Windows update just to be safe but still no luck.  Just a tip, I restarted my Z30 and still no connection.

  Check the Windows Device Manager under network adapters yellow warning signs for and try to update as appropriate, try to update at least if BB or rim there is listed.

  If the above is not enough, you need to uninstall all the drivers for BB or RIM listed in Device Manager, click view on the Menu in DM then show hidden devices.

  The drivers are usually located in these places, BlackBerry, hard drives, CD/DVD, modem (Standard modem only), network cards, Ports.

  To answer your questions:

  1.) files saved in a backup BlackBerry can not be restored to your laptop. Data such as Contacts should be synchronised using BlackBerry link from your smartphone to the computer.

  2.) Yes, the backup file created from your BlackBerry 10 smartphone can be restored to the classic BlackBerry smartphone. To do this, please make sure that you are connected to the classic BlackBerry with the same BlackBerry ID that was used to create the backup file. Otherwise, BlackBerry link will not be able to restore these data.

  Something to consider: there may be problems for some applications application compatibility when you restore the BlackBerry Z10 version for the classic BlackBerry. These are not very widespread and application developers have done good work to include support for the classic BlackBerry screen resolution, but you'll notice that some applications are not properly formatted to change the screen size/resolution.   I hope that there could be some additional elements that could help with a problem I've seen with BlackBerry link. We have a user who has three computers he uses to back up his passport for Blackberry (depending on its location at the time). A laptop has started to display the communication error, it is stated in the subject line. BlackBerry connection on two other devices have no problem of communication with the phone.

  The device works on OS 10.3.2.2474, although the issue does not appear to be tied to a software update. We confirmed that the user was able to save his device to the affected machine after it has updated to this OS level.
