BlackBerry Internet Brower as default Web of Telus Smartphones (option go to disappears)

If I pick up my phone, my internet browser gets by default to the web page of telus. When I press the menu button the button "go to" disappeared. My button "go to" for surfing the internet is there when it is not on the page Web of Telus. In the telus web page I can't seem to google or facebook or whatever it is. How can I get my button "go to" get back in my navigation. I have an Internet browser and an icon of the Web of Telus, but both go to the telus web page-again with no button "go to" menu. Help!

Open the browser.

Press the menu key, and select Options > General Options

Look for an option to 'Start Page' and select 'Start Page'

Save the settings.

Now, when you open the browser, you will see an address bar type a URL in.  If you want the option "go to", then simply click on "BookMarks".

An earlier thread was really useful-

    R Man

I'm going crazy trying to figure out how to change the signature on my blackberry curve 8300.  I'm with Orange Business.  On my camera, it displays the option, but cannot be changed.  On my bill online orange it does not mention - in fact it is impossible to get information from blackberry.  Could someone help me?  I keep seeing references to the 'BIS' - which I suppose means Blackberry internet service - but this does not seem to help me?  This is a website / option on the phone / or what?  DRM for any help...

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Internet Service

I got a message saying I need to update the password to any of my emails via the Blackberry Internet Serviceaddress.

Maybe it's stupid, but I can't find the journal to the screen on the BB site...

Can someone give me the link?  Sorry I'm new on this.

    Thank you

The BIS website is your carrier web page, sign in to your account and update the password, this procedure is only for hotmail accounts.

If you have mail setup icon on your device you can do from there.

  • In Firefox Hello, is it possible to overcome the problem of recognition of a Brixham program as the default web camera?

In Firefox Hello, I was unable to successfully launch a conversation until I disabled the "AVmedia Video Capture" delivered program pre-installed on my PC in the Cyberlink DVD Suite. This program is displayed as the camera to default web instead of my Logitech webcam when I was INVITED to participate in a conversation. When I BEGAN a conversation (I normally run my computer as a non-administrator user) there was no dialogue box where I could put the camera, and therefore open failed (no video image of myself).

    Hello Enrrique
Hello, FireFox is still in beta and a lot of work remains to be done on this subject. There are only options based on Hello FF to launch or join the conversation.
There is no solution for the problem right now.

  • 'Blackberry Internet Browsing Service' to push the service on device with BES

Hi, expert, from this link: http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Push-Development/Push-registration-returns-rc-1000..., we have the Service book called 'Blackberry Internet Browsing Service' or 'BIS-B '. In service to push page, I saw that too.

It worried me a little. Let's support our agent for device with BES with Push using the blackberry infrastructure. "Blackberry Internet Browsing Service" will still be available for the device associated with BES? If this isn't the case, it would be great forced to use infrastructure Blackberry push service.  I tesed on my device that is associated with a BES, but I'm not sure it will work for all cases. Any confirm on that?

Pushing to BES only devices is done via the Server BES not BIS push server. This is why companies like the solution BlackBerry because they control their own devices and have the option to only allow the 3rd third party to interact with devices. Some companies allow BIS books on device of service and others not - his company policy.

  • Servers blackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Internet and business not connected

    Hello

I have a Bold 9900, v7.0.0.585 and Sunday I lost the connection to the Enterprise Server and Blackberry Internet Service. Displaying status is "not connected". I tried removing the battery several times and also tried the SIM card in my old Blackberry phone but get the same question. I did a test of activation of the radio and got

Hello and welcome to the community!

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) Service reference books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you contact your mobile provider for formal support... After all, it's their network with which your BB is to have trouble communicating.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BlackBerry Internet Service and Blackberry Enterprise server: not connected

    Hello!

I am currently a user of the Blackberry Curve 8520 and my carrier is FONIC Germany. After trying a few applications, such as the blackberry Messenger or blackberry app World and my email accounts, I discovered that none of them have worked, although the internet explore normal worked as usual.

After doing some research, I spotted the problem:

    BlackBerry Internet Service: not connected

    BlackBerry Enterprise Server: not connected

After calling my provider, they told me that they are unable to connect to the Blackberry Internet Service... They had really no idea what I was talking!

Is there anyway that I can connect my Blackberry to the service without the intercession of my career?

    Thanks in advance!

    Cervezaduff

The service is provided by your operator, then Yes, the only way to activate your blackberry completely is to change carriers.

  • BlackBerry smartphones, I put my emails using the device... can I now subscribe to the Blackberry Internet Service?

I created my account e-mail directly from the device itself, without ever registering an account with my service provider's Blackberry Internet Service. Now I want to apply a filter (to resolve the issue in duplicate of Gmail), and it seems that I have to do it online, rather than the device itself. If now, I hit 'create new account' more at blackberry.orange.co.uk and go through the registration process, which is likely to prevent the proper functioning of my existing installation? I have to start over? Thank you.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones not able to put up my work on Blackberry Internet Service email accounts

The week last Blackberry internet service sent me the following message is displayed:

    Action required: update password!

Update the password for [email protected] in the Blackberry Internet Service!  The e-mail messages are not delivered to your BlackBerry.  To resume receiving messages email to this email address, update the password in the Blackberry Internet Service.

The thing is that my password for this e-mail account has not changed, so I was confused as to why am I being asked to update.  I tried anyway.  I was unable to.  So I contacted my ISP technical support.  They suggested I remove entirely the BIS account and then add again.  I deleted the account and now I am unable to add.  When I try to add I get the following message:

    1. an error occurred during validation of the email account.  Please check your information and try again.

All the info, as I entered are correct.  Why is - BIS is no longer recognizing my email?

It seems that there is no resolution to my problem, but there are ways around it.  Thank you!
