BlackBerry smartphone Curve 8900 attempt to remove information from Outlook calendar

When I try to two-way sync my Curve 8900 with Outlook 2007, it attempts to delete all previous items in Outlook.  If I do a one-way synchronization of Outlook to curve it works and then syncs correctly both ways until I disconnect, then reconnect.  New synch and then try to delete all previous items in Outlook again.  Actually, it means that I can only synchronize Outlook with curved, not two-way.  Any ideas?

If you have the calendar works perfectly in outlook, read this link to reset the entire calendar on the blackberry and sync again.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones unable to synchronize BB 9800 Torch with Outlook calendar

I used to be able to sync my BB 9800 Torch calendar with the calendar in Outlook.  It seems is not possible.  Is there a solution or just an omission of BB to inform

Hello and welcome to the community!

Unfortunately, such a short report, it is quite difficult to determine anything... "seems to be not not possible" is rather a sparse amount of details. What has changed between the last time it worked and the first time it didn't? Exactly how the problem manifested? Are there any error messages? Details always improve comprehension and understanding is a key prior to provide useful guidance.

In any case, I say this thread:

It begins with a process to start properly and there is an exchange of views, and there is also a post (15) with links to earlier versions of the Software Desktop, if those who are needed. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work... but it worked to much to solve the problems they have.

    Good luck!

  • Synchronization of blackBerry Smartphones my BB Torch 9800 with the Microsoft Outlook calendar

I am very frustrated.  My BB Torch does not synchronize with Microsoft Outlook calendar.  I get the 0x8004fd28 error message and it will transfer all the entries.  I'm not a technical person very media, so I would like easy to understand instructions on what to do.  As far as I know, my mobile device and software are updated to newer versions.  I've only been able to synchronize both times - when I first got the phone 6 months ago.  Thank you for your help.

    Welcome to the forums, melora!

First of all, we will make sure that your browser by e-mail and the calendar entries are the same e-mail that you configured in Outlook.

On your home screen, click the Options icon.  From there, go to device > Adanced configuration > default Services.  Check if those who correspond to your Outlook email address.

Then you'll want to do a clean Desktop Manager uninstall.  Make sure you restart your PC after that you did.

Then you will reinstall the Desktop Manager software, you can get here.

Once you have installed new, go here for instructions on how to configure Desktop Manager to synchronize with Outlook.  You'll want to scroll through the instructions for DM 6.0 and higher.

    I hope this helps!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones unable to synchronize bold 9700 with the outlook calendar

    Organizing sync cable

I am able to set up the synchronization of outlook but not outlook calendar sychronisation address book.

I proceed successfully through the configuration of the Office for the calendar, and then, when he returns to the screen "Select application", it disables the calendar option and she loses the setting. I don't seem to be able to go directly into the advanced settings for mapping files. Could someone help with this please?

Problem solved--simply rebooted a few times and it seemed to clear himself.

  • BlackBerry smartphone Curve 9360 sometimes warms us up a little bit and the battery is discharged

Hi, my blackberry 9360 is sometimes a really weird thing. Once a week, after that I used the device to check email, check facebook or even simply by removing the door in leather and put it right back it drains the battery at a very fast pace and hotter than usual. I'm not aware immediately, but when I use the unit 3 hours later for example the battery is almost all gone and the unit is warmer than usual. Please not that it is warmer, but at a level acceptable, just as if it had been used during this period of time, not overheating. I charge the unit and check the activity monitor application and the CPU was mainly used by the... Idle CPU. The part of the device that heats is not the battery, but the device itself. It is rather annoying because I don't know when it will happen again. The only email account, I have installed is a Hotmail account and it goes as well with wifi on and outside. Someone has an idea it might be? Thank you in advace for help. Best regards, Alexander

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

Are sure you you are in an area where you have a good network coverage signal strength or if falls frequently.

While our BlackBerry devices can feel hot tell a long browsing session, play games, download countinous or all supported. If we hold the Menu for a few seconds, it will open a screen that will display all the programs running in the background, usually five will always be there (host, BBM, Message, phone, browser) you can always check if any other applications. run in the background.

We should always try to close Applications correctly - avoid using key end to close the applications because it just minimizes the application and let it run in the background. Instead, press the Menu key, select close or Exit to exit the application. Don't let your browser open when not in use. If programs are running in the background, it will also allow overheating and also to quick battery drainage. • BlackBerry Smartphones Curve 8520 last chance to enter the password or by telephone shall be cleaned.

To see if I can get my contacts etc out of my sim card can I put the SIM in another phone, connect to the computer and save to file?

Since the blackberry "BOLD" forum a similar case.

Told off for five minutes and try again.

My problem is why the letters when I am pressing the numbers? the 'alt' is stuck? Or what I have to press 'alt' before entering the Nim-sequence. It's already happened not and do not have to press alt to enter. I just regret touching another button like I was, or just before I entered my password numbers.

    Hi alggomas

Don't know if you have already tried your last attempt, if your unit is asking for the password, you will need to enter the password that you set, if you have a mix of different characters in your password, I think that you are not able to enter properly on the keyboard for BlackBerry. For example, if your password

    • alggomas123
    • And if you enter a > l > g > g > o > m > a > s > alt > 1 > 2 > 3

    the result will be

    • alggomas1er
    • You must enter
    • a > l > g > g > o > m > a > s > alt > 1 > alt > 2 > alt > 3

to get alggomas123 on your device. For example, while on the BlackBerry keyboard, you think you type alggomas123, you actually type alggomas1er

All contacts are stored on our memory of the unit no SIM card, unless you have previously saved or copied these contacts on your SIM card. Also a reset will not delete the contacts stored on your SIM card.

If you think that your alt key is locked, and then do a battery pull reboot by removing the battery while your unit is powered. A lock will be released after a restart battery pull.

You must press the ALT key before entering these numbers. So please, take your time and make sure that you type on your device. If it fails, then if you have a previous backup of your device, or if you use BlackBerry protect then you can restore your data from these backups

    Good luck

  • New smartphone BlackBerry Desktop Manager allow me to remove photos from the device

    Hey there,

I use the 6.0.0.40 new office and I'm SO frustrated with it. In the old version, I could remove photos from my camera using Roxio. In the new office, I can't figure out how to remove photos from my 8330. If I click on a photo, I can't delete it individually, and I certainly can't select all, which means that I can't remove all non more.

Can I delete a photo using my BB, but I would prefer not to manage my BB shutterbug photo usually both.

Help! How to remove photos now?

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

In BlackBerry Desktop Software, connect the BlackBerry to your computer and turn on mass storage mode.

Click on the pictures on the left side and then right-click on an image and select Show in Explorer.  By doing this, you can select several images and remove several institutions.
