BlackBerry Smartphones ABRimContacts Crash

I have problems of synchronizing contacts.  I did the advice of synchronization only one thing at a time (contacts, calendar, etc.). I don't sync contacts and calendar at this time because I just got the phone last week.  But I made a mistake when I went to sync cleanup knowing that I understood the problem.  I did own synchronization before data purging.  I mixed them up.  Is there something I can do?  Or what I do all the steps to uninstall PocketMac and clear each extension and file which does not uninstall it.

I solved my problem.  I had contacts from my mother from her address book shared on our network.  Well, she had an X with an initial after the X to distinguish cellular family phone numbers.  I deleted all those on my BB and my address book.  I have synced then only my contacts and no mistake. So I resynced with contacts and calendar (only to learn the BB, used to use only Palm) and no error messages.

So I got a new BB "BOLD" yesterday and then I transfer data from my old phone to my new BB using bluetooth, something crashed. Doesn't seem to really be a problem at first until I discovered that once I had removed the battery, the thing just show me the loading thingy clock screen, which stops smoothly and finally I get a white screen. It has been like that for the last 8 hours and I'm at my wits end.

What the hell is happening with my new phone and what can do about it?

No problem at all. The steps are:

First download and install from here Office Manager (5.0.1 without Media Manager is recommended): https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22

Then download and install the software from here: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

Then try to reload the operating system by connecting the device to your computer, open the Desktop Manager, then go to the Application Loader. This will open a wizard who travels to reload the operating system on your device. More detailed instructions can be found here:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Facebook crashed whenever it starts...

Facebook will show the first screen, and then a split second later close with this error message:

    net.rim.device.api.system.UnsupportedOperationException

Anything stupid like restart, pulling on the battery, remove the program, resettlement, etc solves this problem.

Already when it would crash whenever I tried to post messages/status/etc. Normally, I delete via the Desktop Manager and then reinstall.  I did every two months, but now that is no longer working (I did 3 times now) and it simply crashes.

Anyone have any idea what causes this?

I called T-Mobile to return them this whole book.

But I've also upgraded to OS 4.5 on their recommendation, which seems to have solved this problem.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Roxio crashes

When I connect my Pearl to my computer and call the Media Desktop Manager... a "roxio for blackberry" screen appears and remains frozen on my desk... forever! The only way to get rid of it is by restarting. This is part of a procedure to download a rington. Sometimes it works, but mostly it doesn't.

Fix. Many people have problems with the Media Manager. I use the mass storage mode to move files to/from my BlackBerry. You can also download the Desktop Manager that does not come with the Media Manager.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones TOTAL CRASH - cannot use the device

I have a new BB9700. With desktop manager, I downloaded ubertwitter, Internet installed a few apps gmail (gmail, google maps). Mounting ubertwitter forward while the action of the install in deskop manager could not be carried out, he was not moving, so I cancelled it. All worked well for a while.

Then, while typing a messege in blackberry e-mail phone went completely blank (white screen), and the hard reset itself and after initialization, it entered Setup for beginners. Therefore, when you cancel the Setup program it shows in the BlackBerry 5.1.0.90 front line platform and a list of the BB apps, ATTMusic, BrickBreaker, calculator, calendar, address book and so on. When you click on any one of them it says: "error at startup of net_rim_bb_file_explorer; module not found "net rim_bb_browser_lib." Or similar.

The only thing that works is calculator, Memo, password keeper, and options. With the options, I can access the applications list and delete some of them if necessary.

All options settings are erased from the options.

What is interesting is that I can return phone calls after I get a missed call. The phone does not ring, she is silent, but I get a notice of missed call, and I can return from the call.

Does this mean that failuire of Fund Manager to complete the following action cause BB to completely erase? This means that I have to reactivate the phone (BES) and start from scratch?

I'll try that: total hard deletion, with a clean install of the soul (5.0) to the Director of bureau, BES re-activation fees

  • BlackBerry Smartphones keeps crashing

Hi, I have a curve 8320 (for more than a year with an original battery) and since last week, he had been crashing about 15 - 20 times, don't know why.  It happened when I used the camera, map google (app) and several times when I used the facebook (app).  Sometimes, he would show that the battery is really low even if the level of the battery was just before it crashed.  I downloaded the app twitter and I think that is where the problem started here, but I already removed it the next day from the day I installed it.  the problem which continues...

When I use one of the above applications, the screen would go blank (black) as he was off.  I couldn't turn on while I do the battery pull, then it would take some time to start over.  yesterday, when I did, it would be not started correctly and then after like 4 or 5 times, it finally started and took me to the home screen.

is it possible that my device has some kind of virus or any idea what it is? y at - it a sort of test that I could run on it to try to identify the problem? any info would be greatly appreciated! Moreover, I have a multimedia card in it if it's useful to know?

    Thank you!!

It seems to be a problem with the facebook app, because I had received several spam messages.  I deleted the app and my bb works fine as far as I know since he collapsed since Saturday night. Hmm.  you will need to keep an eye on it.  Thank you!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones phone crashes when the media card is on the phone

I had my phone for a few weeks.  I have a 4 GB card that I had in my phone for over a week.  Now it freezes up when the card is in the phone.  Once I take the card the phone works very well.  Any ideas of what I could in fact?

I had not upgraded the operating system, but I had added a photo that must have been great.  I took the card on the phone and removed the photo on the card in the Desktop Manager.  When I put the card in the phone it seems to work fine now.

BlackBerry App World crashes my phone. After turning the phone off and on again, I get the following message: untrapped exception application net_rim_bb_appworld (1222) does not respond, the process is complete.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Whenever random strange behaviors creep, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

You can uninstall the device itself... Options > Advanced Options > Applications > highlight the App BBAppWorld > BBKey > delete

Then get the batt restart - again.

    Then try reinstalling the AppWorld.

    Best!

I have not apploader on my PC if this is helpful to all.

If you have installed, your PC, the desktop software and/or a bundle of BONES for your BB, then you apploader. Reference:

But, to start your diagnostic efforts, I recommend that you try to start safe mode:

    • KB17877 How to start a smartphone BlackBerry in Mode safe

It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, see what happens.

If the behavior continues, then well... think what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

If there is no Safe Mode, I suggest that you test to see if your battery is causal. Please try this sequence... Note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must be directly connected to a charger checked (not PC USB, not a docking station):

    1. With battery, connect your BB to the wall charger
    2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not
    3. Remove the battery
    4. Wait 15 minutes
    5. Insert the battery
    6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

This has been known to "revive" some BBs.

It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

    1. Get a known good and already fully charged battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
    2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem. Carefully note please that 'new' and 'know' are not necessarily the same things. Although rare, a 'new' battery could certainly be defective. On the contrary, the easiest (and cheapest, btw) method to perform this test is to find someone with an identical BB which has no problem... trade in batteries and see what happens.

Otherwise, then you may need to consider more drastic measures - WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload and the process of reloading OS 'skeleton '. To prepare, you should be sure that you have a full backup of your PC... Please see the Backup link in my sig auto on this post for instructions.

    HY,

    Translation by Google:

Everything began to be replaced by an old mobile Blackberry Curve 9300 for a new 9300
Initially, I connect my old laptop to perform a backup.
I connect the new and restored with the old backup.
    And starting problems:
Initially I have found all my applications, after a ride on this forum B and am active Blackberry option. I thought that I had on my old laptop...
But I'm still all of the missing Blackberry universe.

I connect my Blackberry Desktop, it tells me I can do an update from 5.0 to 1419 Pack Update pack 6.0 1879.

But the problem and not the update bug.

    Following error message:

An update to the Blackberry Desktop software component must be installed before proceeding. I'm okay then after seconds qqs:

An error occurred during the update of your software

However, I take things and I have zero reset my laptop with a factory reset.
I past either directly through the laptop and the laptop tells me that there is no update available.
So at the moment no update my software.

Then I try to reopen a Blackberry ID session and still the problem:

I know that my email user, I maintain the Blacberry ID confirmation email, but I forgot the password.
I requested a new password, he asked me the secret question. I answer and it crashes with the following messages:

    What should I do?

    Please help me!

Hello and welcome to the community!

You have a lot of questions... so it is difficult to separate. I'll try both, I think I can identify:

Please see this post "sticky" for useful information about your situation BBID:

I hope that this information will be useful to you.

With respect to the update/reload of your operating system, the easiest way is on a PC (you can't do this on MAC):

    (1) make sure that you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find the instructions at the link in my auto-sig below.

    2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (4) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want:

    • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

    5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

6 (a) to change your level of BB OS installed (at level or lower), you can run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC.

6 (b) or, for recharging your BB OS level installed as well to change, work around the Desktop software and use the CHARGER. EXE directly, through step 2 in this process:

If, during the process of 6a or 6 b, your BB has an error '507', simply unplug the USB of the BB cord and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.

You can also study the use of BBSAK (bbsak.org) to perform the wipe what he is capable.

You can also try the "skeleton OS Reload procedure" in an attempt to circumscribe the precise causal element:

    1. Load your OS "bare bones"... If everything is optional, do not install it.
    2. If the behavior is immediately, then try another OS with step 1
    3. If the behavior does not immediately, then run for as long as necessary to make you to be sure that the behavior will not occur.
    4. Add one more thing - no matter how tempting, one.
    5. If the behavior does not immediately present, and then runs for long enough to be sure he won't have the same problem
    6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all things are responsible or the behavior presents

When the behavior shows up, you know the culprit... the last thing you have loaded.

If the behavior doesn't re-present, then you know that step 1 or 2 cured it.

If the behavior has anything, then you have probably a problem of material level for which no amount of OS or software can heal.

You may also use these tips:

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

I have installed and uninstalled all languages twice, I restarted a dozen times or more, I reinstalled a version more ancient dating back months and not seen no change to these questions. Hello and welcome to the community!

I think that you may need to perform a clean reload OS... from your post, I can't quite tell if you did that.

Please visit this official download portal as you go along. If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

From a PC, you can install any compatible OS package (for example, for your BB model exact number) of a BB via this procedure:

Note Although written to "recharge" and the storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade or recharge any BB device model - depends on the operating system package you download and install on your PC. After installing the operating system on your PC package, please remember to remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC.

Don't forget that you remove, since your PC, any other BB OS devices as packages with more than one installed on the PC can cause conflicts with this procedure.

You can also study the use of BBSAK (bbsak.org) to perform the wipe what he is capable.

You can also try the "skeleton OS Reload procedure" in an attempt to circumscribe the precise causal element:

    1. Load your OS "bare bones"... If everything is optional, do not install it.

Please refer to this information, which is at the top of each page on this site:

Contractually, BlackBerry cannot provide any support from first line for nothing. All support first line begins with mobile service providers, to the place of origin of purchase or an authorized service center (it varies according to the region and the specific question). When you bought your device and the services, you should have been informed about your methods of formal support... If you weren't, you need to check your place of origin of purchase or your service provider mobile as to what those who are for you.
