BlackBerry Smartphones application which freezes my phone


I'm retired so I can't say that I have not the time to try it, but I think that I don't have to try out it if I fault anything.
Thanks for your help anyway, at least we tried a possible avenue for a solution. I wish just that appsforbb.com would answer questions that is sent to them.

    The guy on the Support of Rogers suggested that perhaps the closed phone itself - but when I enter the settings advanced for the SIM card that everything is disabled in customization... so it appears not to be locked.

    He said that I should try to reinstall the OS, but that it will block the phone and I need to unlocked again.

    Is there anything else it could be? Will reinstall the OS relock the phone? Any other suggestions?

    First this... avoid this tech Rogers like the plague. He has no idea what he's talking about. All what he told you is simply not possible. Once MEP unlocked, a BB device can blocked at the factory. Nothing of what you have done or the facilities of any OS can relock a BB.

    I'd rather a complete security on the Device Wipe:

    Otherwise, a ResetToFactory WIPE:

    • KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings

    After each one, put it in the SIM card and switch on the device, and then make sure that the voice is through Rogers. Only then start to worry about getting all the data to work (if you subscribe BIS, in other words).

    If you want to get off the OS Reload path, then the easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do this on MAC):

    (1) make sure that you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find the instructions at the link in my auto-sig below. (not applicable in your situation)

    2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (4) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want:

    • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates.     Try to run your device in safe mode. You should be able to remove the theme of the problem. I suggest a peripheral complete backup using Desktop Manager before deleting anything.

    I need help. I just got a new 9720 BB after that my old BB 9220 phone stopped working. Before the old defective phone, I got my data backed up on the server by using BB BB protect.

    I signed into my new BB using my BB ID and my BBM restored 9720 my BBM contacts. However all data like contacts, Notepad, messages, e-mails and whatsapp are not restored.
    Whenever I go to BB protect app, it does not give me the option to restore, rather they want to back up my current phone.

    However, things can be odd, depending on what you mean by "completely"? Several carriers push icons "teaser" to get you to install applications they're pushing. But the icon itself is not an application installed... rather just a shortcut to "tease" you to install the application. You can't stop these teaser icons.

    First perform a battery pull reboot as this device on remove the battery for a min. then reinsert it wit back up what your device restarts. Then give it a try and see if it allows you to uninstall this application.

    If that does not start then your device on Safe Mode, while safe mode remove the theme of your device. Options of > device > application > remove it of there.after conducting another battery pull reboot.

    Just got a BB9000 to a friend.

    I have trouble finding the phone app icon.

    question #1: is the manual of the icon of the calls, the app called phone icon in the owner?

    Funny how I have 900 MB on my device free and 1.8 GB on storage media memory, but I can't make more space on the partition of memory applications!

    If you have recently updated the removing applications (windows live, yahoo messenger, gtalk) IM these and restart your phone - there is a problem with the recent updates.
