  My phone had OS6 installed at the time it was released. Today, I decided to update to the latest version of the OS6. I downloaded the update through my device, and then click the button install. There is a prompt message warning that the installation can take 2 hours or more. After 2 hours, I started the monitoring device and noticed that there seems to be a pattern to the load up screen. 1 loading screen screen 2) black with LED light red 3) the load screen and then ends with a bright white screen 4) back to the black screen with LED Red 5) repeat this pattern.  I waited another hour to see if there was no change in the situation, but nothing. So I did a hard reset (battery pull). After waiting 5 minutes, I put the battery in and now I get this screen load pattern.

  How can I pass the loading screens to access my phone again?

  How do I erase and reload my camera?

  If I erase and reload my camera, can I recharge my BlackBerry protect the back upward?

  I would greatly appreciate any help or advice on this matter as soon as POSSIBLE!

  There are two methods for recovering for you to try:

  One:

  • Open Blackberry Desktop Software & connect your device with the PC using the USB cable, without inserting the battery.
  • You have three Retry option, update or cancel, and then click Update.
  • Once it is at the stage of the "initialization of pocket" update, then insert the batteries.
  • If this does not work, and you get stuck on the safeguarding of social data feeds, go to the second method below.

  Second:

  • Connect to the BlackBerry Desktop Software and allow handheld to connect. If you are prompted to update, cancel the upgrade for later.
  • IF you can not connect or your desktop software does not recognize your device in Mode safe, please follow the instructions here to force detection: Article ID: KB10144 how to force detect the BlackBerry smartphone using the Application Loader
  • Go to device > delete > SELECT DATA > select this option to remove the Social flow and smart card data bases and follow the rest invites you to complete.
  • Now, you can go back and click to update the device through the Desktop Manager, or restart the BlackBerry in normal mode and continue on the upgrade of the air.

  (1.) you have the battery charger using an external source if the battery is now.

  2.) open Blackberry Desktop Software & connect your device with your PC via a USB cable, without insertion of battery.

  You have three Retry option, update or cancel, and then click Update.

  Once it will update pocket computer initialization, then insert batteries...

  Thanks for the reply but I was able to get the ot to start work. I had the phone screen has changed, and immediately I put in the battery, that I was asked to reload the software I did and tadaaaa... It worked all fine again. I guess that the error had something to do with the material for the screen.

  According to my 'About' screen, I'm running software on my BBCurve 8320 v4.2.2.180. I've repeatedly tried to update to 4.5. I tried to turn my power is turned off/on, soft reboot, and I even tried different versions of the Desktop Manager.   If you read the first post in this thread he states that the operating system works on ANY carrier 8320.  I have a TMobile and have used many different carriers operating systems.  The branding is removed when you delete the vendor.xml file, as indicated.  It is a stable OS and it will work exactly like a BONE out of your provider.

  Yes, you will need to go down to 6 ver as ver 7 has been a huge problem for some people.

  BlackBerry World does not require a WiFi connection to work.

  Options > device > application management, what AppWorld version you have installed?

  You can delete it.

  Then do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.
  The browser on your BlackBerry go to www.blackberry.com/appworld and download/install again.
