BlackBerry Smartphones BB pin

Hi all

I bought a used BB 9000 "BOLD", and I tried to connect the internet service,

I found the code PIN is blocked and does not work...

When I check the PIN to the back of the phone and the PIN in the BB Messenger, I found its different...

I think that some make a different program for the phone and change the PIN code!

I update the software and I wipe completed the same question...

Is there a possible way to set the phone to use normally again!

Please help me!

Kind regards

Get your money from the seller... you have a useless device.

It works perfectly for call and SMS texting...

  • BlackBerry Smartphones rejecting PIN asking to enter 'blackberry '.

Hi guys... I have a problem on my new (three months) 9000 "BOLD" which is actually a repetition of a similar problem I had on a previous model. One of the children was playing with the phone when it was locked - are not uncommon! When I went to use (by entering the pin code of the telephone (10 attempts) NOT the pin of the sim card it came with the screen "unlock" as normal, then the password entry screen as usual. When I entered the normal phone (unchanged) PIN it came with password enter 7/10 - once again I guessed... youngest daughter was playing with phone... no big deal has three attmepts to enter the PIN code, or so I thought!

Entered the PIN of HABIT to attempy 7 of 10.  But there is no asteriks to match every key stroke according to normal but the corresponding LETTERS of my pine four-digit - try 7 driveway.

Then I do the same thing again... thinking ok I'll use the SHIFT key to get the PIN numbers.

Get the same message "Please enter the balckberry" then enter "blackberry"... get to enter the PIN 8 of 10 cases... Use the SHIFT key to enter my PIN to 4 digits except this time I get NUMBERS not asterisks.

    Again rejected...

Spend the next FOUR hours on the phone for call centers in the country, I heard yet trying to understand people on the other end who had no idea!

Remove the battery e phon while WE... Wait 30 seconds... NO DIFFERENCE

Cut and remove the battery, wait 5 minutes... NO DIFFERENCE and all along the population to support Blackberry say ' sorry we cannot do anything you need a new phone!

You all know the end... Reset phone losing all the data (and of course not recently saved) and start again! Phone becomes perfact... BUT this surely isn't an isolated problem cannot be acceptable...

I understand that people will play with the PIN number is what it is, but surely if you enter the correct one in 10 attempts, you should it be thin and before someone says "if one who has played with it changed the PIN... my question is how can occur without the correct PIN code first?

Would appreciate comments. thoughts. suggestions as is the SECOND Blackberry that's is it.

Thank you all for your contributions...

    Hello

problem is partially make rooms terminology.

The SIM card has a PIN

The Blackberry screen you will be asked for a password.

If ther screen says "password (7/10)" then it asks for the password, not the PIN.

Once you have passed the mark at halfway (5 of 10, or 3 to 5), the unit knows you have issues and will show the letters, rather than the stars.

Now if you still get bad so you think that your typing is not what is the password.

    Its common currency...

Yes, I know that you said that it was not at the ANKLE, but I ASSURE you it was one of two problems:

    (1) your entered the PIN and should have enbtered the password or vice versa - again, watch the display screen)

    (2) If your password is 1234, and you entered it as false, then it is not NEVER 1234, but actually wers ' ' the letters corresponding to the numbers...

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BBM PIN - how to follow a person

    Hi guys,.

Can someone let me know is it possible to track a person by using the PIN code?

    Thank you

No, it is absolutely NOT possible to follow another BlackBerry user knowing only their PIN device.

At most, you must have installed a GPS tracking ON their device application, and they must then give you permission to follow by GPS, but not PIN code.

  • BlackBerry smartphones does pine bb without data plan? No polls bbm, just the msg of the real axis

  • BlackBerry Smartphones accidental PIN code Set up!

I have just got a 2nd hand BlackBerry Storm 9520 as a gift and have unlocked it so it can walk here on Chunghua Telecom in Taiwan. Unfortunately while it was in my pocket on the way to the back of the store there somehow set up a pin code which obviously I do not know! What can I do?

    Hey, Hopey.

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

If the BlackBerry is password protected and you do not know the password, it cannot be reset.

Well, you will need to enter the password 10 times and the camera well do a security wipe and then you can create a new password.

This article provide more information on the security of password: http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/KB00588.

    Thank you.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BB pin connection

I was just wondering, what link is needed to send messages using a PIN BB code? Is it at the same cost as a text message or would I get charged to make a short connection to the internet?

I was wondering, because a friend of mine told me that it is not get accused of anything whatsoever where he lives, so I wonder if this goes for everywhere or only in some places? (note: I live in Belgium, if that makes a difference or not)

    Cedric

If you get a BB data, by any name your carrier Plan call it, this 'connection' is open and independent of "surfing" through your BB browser.  You'll have BBM messages sent to your device.  You can with a BB data Plan, have your different e-mail clients have new e-mail messages "pushed" to your BB.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones using pin # on bb

My wife and I have the bb "BOLD" and most of our grandchildren too. I have experimented with the use of the PIN # and have yet to understand how to use it in all its fullness. It doesn't seem to be another way to send SMS messages from bb to bb. Send your comments so I can take the rest of this edition that appears whenever I go to the text. Thank you very much for all and all for your help!

  • BlackBerry smartphones enter pin (2 left)

Hello. I have a Bold 9700 and 2 further attempts to enter the pin code. How can I increase attempts to return to left 10
    Thank you

As mentioned in previous post PIN code is a property of your SIM card. After that 3 attempt, you will be asked to enter the Code (PUK) personal unblocking code. You can this PUK code 10 attempt after which you SIM will be damaged and you will need the reissue of the SIM card again.

PIN and PUK codes are provided by your carrier printed or printed in a document that is provided with the SIM card to the SIM card plastic holder. If you do not, you can ask help from your operator customer assistance. Operators to keep a register of PIN and PUK for each SIM.

Hello, my name is Simi. I've recently updated by blackberry 9360 bt I have a problem since 3 days now. There is someone who has the same PIN bbm like me and every time that this person is change my profile picture and the name of the profile. Please help me fix this a.s.a.p..

    Thank you
    Simi

In fact, I suspect that you use the same BB ID and not the same PIN. When the same BB ID is used on multiple devices, results exactly as you describe can happen.

If you know the other person, you can chat with them and decide which of you will go through the painful process needed to remedy this situation:

    • KB26694 How to change the BlackBerry ID on a BlackBerry smartphone or BlackBerry PlayBook Tablet

Who's going to do will have to do a complete device WIPE. To prepare, backups are necessary... See the link in my signature on this post to know... you'll need it all. You may also need a list of all your BBM contacts... If you're on BBM7, there is no way to condone those to restore after you are done as they are attached to your BBID, not your BB. If you are on pre-BBM7, then you can save and restore them. Otherwise, it will be a process of re-entry manual.

    Good luck!

  • Desperately need help from blackBerry Smartphones - I can't read my messages PIN.

I have a Storm 9500 and does not know how to read my PIN messages. I work away from home and so my manual, and for all the google/BlackBerry forum research I did, no one explains how read , only send them.

My companion with a new curve took my PIN and me by post, and all I get is the envelope in the upper left corner with a growing number, that has got to be the PIN messages, as my email is all set up and working properly (and the number goes down when I delete emails). There must be a together simple procedure, but for the life of me I can't find!

I called Vodafone who could help, as BlackBerry do not PIN message support! (?)

I want just the bl * envelopes dy to disappear! Help, please.

    NAT :-(

ethosb is correct, and if you still have problems that maybe it's because you've hidden your main message folder.  In the home screen, press the BB Menu key and select this option to display everything.  You should then be able to find the folder with the message of PIN code for your friend.
