  With a network carrier signal strong, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... ( Please wait for this before moving on to the next step) :

  • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  When I try to voice chat with BB9900 of my wife, I connect but I can't send any voice... it sounds right back at me... meanwhile, I can hear his voice from the BB990

  RESOLVED SOLUTION...

  Basically, we are troubleshooting-made this problem... We took the bb9900 and the Z10 to a local coffee shop and tested... the voice of BBM worked perfectly and even made voice with the other BB9900, curve and 9800 users contact...

  So we came back home and contacted the ISP provider and tested the system of the router... it turns out that the router is older than 5 years and needed a new...

  The Protocol should be put to WPA WEP-64 to get things to work... we used a separate DLINK router to test this hypothesis... and it worked fine...

  It was not the Blackberry phones... It was a router problem... and the ISP provider is replacement for us...

  For those facing similar problems... diagnosis by eliminating variables works...

  Updated my BB Messenger (as suggested).  A msg came to the effect: "your BBM is registered on another handset, you want to migrate to the current?   I clicked Yes, and then the profile of my daughter appeared as mine!  She has my old handset for BB.

  Most likely a shift of the impedance. The phone may be looking for a manager of specific impedance equivalent to special devices such as headphones. Most headphones for telephones are in the 40 ohms range 60 ohms. Some are falling in the range of 20 ohms.   get a simple audio splitter to allow two headsets on the same device. On the one hand, feed the car radio. On the other side to keep a helmet or headphones that work with the phone. If it works keep pushed headphones somewhere on the side.  This can make the circuits of telephone functions as if the same.
