BlackBerry Smartphones BIS Log-in problems

I tried for a while on my own to connect to the page AT & T BlackBerry Internet Service so that I can manage my email accounts. I vaguely remember signing up in May when I got my curve. Yesterday, I clicked on the link and after trying unsuccessfully to log in using my username and password, I decided to re - enter the PIN NUMBER and the other number it asks when you first register. The system told me that there is already an account set up, but when I went back to the Web page and requested my password it says: 'username and password do not exist. How can this be? Of course, when I asked to send me my password somehow already my e-mail address in the system.

Anyone have suggestions or any contact info to BIS to help me find a way to connect to my account?

Thank you in advance for your help!

JD

JD, if you open first your BIS account via the icon of personal email to the BB screen configuration, may not actually you createe a username to the account of the BIS. It was common after several carriers their BIS upgrade to version 2.4, I think that remember me.

Read this for more information: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB14378&sliceId=SAL_Pub...

Basically, you need to register for the account of the BB and create a username it...

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

    (2) Service reference books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your carrier for formal support.

Age of your device is not relevant. If your usage patterns consume a lot of resources, it's the situation. But I have no way of knowing what your habits are, so I can't guide you. Basically, however, you will need to find out what is 'normal' for your usage patterns and then only worry when things diverge significantly from that. If it means charge 3 times a day due to a very intense use, that's what it means.

  • BlackBerry smartphones is this a problem with my Bold 9700 flash memory?

A few annoying problems recently with my Bold 9700.

First, my Blackberry has suddenly started to massively delete recent appointments in my calendar, which will attempt to remove them from my Outlook calendar when I synchronize the device to my laptop.  This has not happened before, and I checked to make sure that the schedule is set to never delete nominations, and it is set correctly.

Second, my Blackberry App World application (both on the device and online) does not display one of my installed applications, except one, but they are all still on the device and working properly.  I'm 18 apps installed from BB App World, beyond the pre-installed applications on the device, which are less than 10 MB in total size.

The reason I think that the problem could be linked to the internal flash memory is that whenever I want to install an application, I usually get a message indicating there is enough memory and I have to uninstall some other applications to free up space.  When I checked my memory earlier, he said that had less than 1 MB.  I restarted the machine and now it tells me there is 12.2 MB of available space, which always seems incredibly low for me since I installed only about 10 MB of my own applications.  So, I delete the file all attachments of the device and do not keep e-mail on the device beyond 30 days, and all media is stored on flash cards, not in the device memory.

The most important question I have to solve is how to prevent the device to delete data from calendar (it keeps recurring appointments, but has been deleted and everything before about two weeks ago).

    Hello

It's an automatic protection mechanism with BBs. During the AppMemory (not the device, no media memory card memory) get low, the BB must start deleting things to preserve its ability to operate. Unfortunately, he really can't go after data... it can't really go after installed applications. Here are some tips to use:

    • KB02843 What is the function of low memory manager on the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB14320 How to maximize space and power battery life on the BlackBerry smartphone
      • KB14213 Call logs, SMS text and email messages are deleted from the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB10183 E-mail messages are removed from the BlackBerry device until the messages expire

In addition, it is always important to correctly close applications when you are finished with them. Using the back or on the red button won't do that - those leave the app to decide what to do... and some let themselves memory-resident, consumes resources on your BB, slowing down the overall performance. On the contrary, to close an application, tap on and select 'Close' or 'Quit'... which force the application to be closed, freeing resources for your new use it consumed. Some applications will always be running (in general - BBMessenger, browser, homescreen, phone and Messages)... but, you should always close them properly - especially the browser... If we leave on a web page, it will not consume only additional resources, but the power of the battery as well.

Now, AppMemory is not just for the apps... the real BB operating system is here as well. Depending on the options you have included, which might be things bloating as well.

    Good luck!

Whenever I try to download whatever app world or click on my world, he always says 'there is a problem with the Blackberry App World. They said I should be able to access the universe of the app by wifi since I'm subscribed to a data plan Blackberry (BBM). They don't know what to do with my problem anymore. Everything else works except the app world. Help, please. BTW, I'm trying to access the app through a mobile internet captive universe. That this has something to do with it?

    Hi trishthestranger

Please uninstall AppWorld options > device > application management.

Scroll down to BlackBerry AppWorld > delete.

or KB10040 : how to view or delete the application installed on a blackberry smartphone

Perform a restart on the BlackBerry this way: with the phone smart BlackBerry turned on, remove the battery for a min. and then reinsert the battery of waiting until it reboot.

Now, since your browser BB go to thewww.blackberry.com/appworld and install again.

After installation go to app world and see if you are able to download on a PC, you can also try to scan the barcode of this application, it will request a download link on your device. Please try it and let us know. But like I said try to download Over the Air.

  • Torch 9800 blackBerry Smartphone email not showing problem!

    Hello world

I got my BB Torch 9800 for a few months. Already used to work properly, all my emails used appears in the messages folder. But these days, when I get emails my bb flashes red and it shows on the top of screen email icon. But when I open my messages folder shows an empty without any email folder, even though I can see the icon of e-mail showing pending emails there. I'm aware of this option which, if I press menu bb and then tap show all, my e-mail address with my name will appear. This way I can display the e-mails received. But I don't want to use this option, because I prefer all my emails go to the messages folder, that way I can have more space to download other applications. Please help and any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Note: if I recharge my camera all e-mails shows up in the messages folder. I don't want to reboot my device whenever I face this prblem.

Is my QUESTION HARD to ANSWER? No one's taken the trouble to give me an answer, why?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Call Log problem - lists only the missed calls

I have the curve 8900 with t-mobile and I'm having the same exact problem that this user has:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/Rim/Board/message?board.ID=8900&message.ID=3200

My call log lists only the missed calls (dialed or received calls). He did this for a few weeks now. I received the error message 'exception: java.lang.NullPointerException eception' a few times as well.

I checked all available software updates and I use the most recent software.

Please help me if you can.

    Thank you

    Mike

I fixed it!  It took about an hour on the phone with t-mobile, but we thought about it.   For me, the problem was probably a few information corrupted in my call history.  I need to delete all the call history, and then it was fine.  To do this, you need to install the blackberry desktop manager on your computer if you have not already (be it from the cd that came with the phone or the Web site).  Open Fund Manager and connect the blackberry to the computer.  Select the backup and restore option.  Then, select the advanced option.  On the right side of the screen, there will be a list of all the features of the phone.  Scroll to phone call logs.  It lists the number of records in the phone.  All I had to do was remove all records from phone call and it was corrected.  Now my lists of newspaper calls dialed, received and missed and I no longer get the error message.  I hope it helps you too!

  • Problem blackBerry Smartphones BIS

HII, I am a user of Vodafone in. When I send a message (Act BIS399) to 144 or 111, I get a message which type the correct code and send it to 111. Could you help me?

    Thank you

    Hi tanzdevil

As far as I know that if you type law BIS399 to 144 it will process your request, but you get the message to correct 111 then I think that can happen under two conditions, first if you have a prepaid SIM card and dion can't you have enough balance in your account to activate plan 399, second, if you have a paid plan Post so there not such plan BIS 399 on post paid. So if the pre paid, then all first check your balance. Through this page, it contains everything related to the BIS plan available for customers Vodafone India.

Also on your PM, you said that you can not edit your message and remove your PIN, so I'll try to inform our moderators to edit this post for you.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Call Log problem!

My call logs is endangered. I checked the Wchodzis and 'call the newspapers' is checked. So when I make a call, it appears in the newspaper to call for a minute and then disappears... thoughts?

This is usually caused by the unit with a small amount (or any) of memory. When the memory becomes weak (lower than 12MB in some cases, although there is not a number) the device will start the removal of messages and/or call newspapers to keep the memory. You can check your available memory by going to Options > status and check the free file setting.

Fastest way to free memory, is to perform a hard reset. Remove the battery from the device (while it is still powered) for about 30 seconds, then insert it again. Also, check out the links below for ways to optimize the memory:

I went into the Setup program, entered my password and just got the error message "your device has encountered a problem with the application server. I repeated several times and received the same message. I was at my outlook.com account via my PC and tried to turn on and off the POP - not be joy. My work account still works fine.

I also tried to remove the outlook.com account so I can reset, but just get the message "Cannot delete" So I'm stuck. Any ideas?

Many problems associated with the implementation of an e-mail account on your phone or validate a password can be resolved by typing www.blackberry.com/integrate in your phone's browser and from there. You could also contact your carrier, EA and ask questions about access to their website self-service of BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service). From there, you can post the accounts add new and remove those that you do not want to use. This is useful if ever you cannot access it from your phone to perform these functions. BIS ERA self-service site is http://ee.blackberry.com .

Give it a shot and report with your results.

  • WiFi blackBerry Smartphones Curve 9300 3 problem

    Hi, I recently got my first Blackberry - a 9300 3.

It seems impossible to connect to my home network via WiFi. I've implemented the BB with a manual setting that I have a non-broadcast SSID and password is correct. My router is a Netgear DG834GT. I have a laptop connected via WiFi so I don't know the router, WiFi & DSL is all operational.

I can sporadically, but not systematically, ping the router of the BB, but I can't ping a web address (for example google.com). I can't ping the BB from my PC, but an IP Scanner confirms that the BB is on the network.

My career has suggested a reboot, reinstall the firmware and turn WiFi off & on - everything I did.

I'm very knowledgeable PC, reasonably network aware, but a complete newbie to BB and smartphones.

    Any ideas?

Well, I've sorted - or rather Geek Squad pointed me the right direction.

It seems that the phone does not like the standard security WPA - PSK Protocol. While the router is recognized, the phone cannot communicate through the router.

Change the wireless security protocol on the router to WPA2-PSK has solved the problem. Of course, if you do this you must also change the Security Protocol on all your other devices on the wireless network, or else they may not work.
