BlackBerry Smartphones e-mail problems

Hi, I just got my Blackberry 8300 curve and I had transfer of e-mail on the subject, if I get my aol email on my phone.  The problem is when I read a new email on my phone from my account aol and go further in my mailbox aol on my computer at home, that e-mail is no longer there.  He's not even in my "old mail folder.  It's as if he never had in my aol mailbox.  It's frustrating because after reading an e-mail on my phone, I need to keep for future reference on my computer at home, but it never is.  To solve the problem, when I read an email on my phone from my aol account, I can transfer it to my aol account while I get it in my aol mailbox.  Is there a way to solve this problem.

Thank you

Brian

Beargus,

I had figured it out. I tried an AOL account and you are right, there is no option to leave messages on the server.

You must go into your BIS account and uncheck synchronize items in this mailbox and my camera deleted.

If you turn this off, you will have the emails go to your PC and your BB. If you remove BlackBerry, it will always be on your PC.

I have this put thread to send me an email.

When you are ready, we can fix it!

Thank you

Whenever I get an email for my yahoo mail. He disappears (mail in the Inbox) after aprox. 5 minutes after opening.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

This behavior is usually due to having a different e-mail client (Outlook, for example) running who's pulling E-mail from the Yahoo servers and removing servers at this time. With Yahoo, destruction at the server level can be reconciled with the BB. See this KB:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones E-mail problem after phone repair.

    Hi all

I recently sent my 8110 pearl to repair. I saved the phone and kept all the cards of data etc..

Now the phone is back and everything works as normal thanks to the backup, etc.

That is except my e-mail account.

When I select the email icon appear the correct details and emails before the repairs are still in the Inbox. However it won't send or receive.

I have trawled through all the menus on the phone looking for a way to sort, but one can understand. One of the annoying things about this is that the email configuration icon is not found! It's why I can't get into the nitty gritty of the e-mail set up options.

Thanks in advance for any help offered.

Hi and welcome to the forums!

Let see if we can get your email back

    (1) GO to OPTIONS/ADVANCED OPTIONS/HOUST ROUTING TABLES/menu key / REGISTER NOW.

You will get a verification of registration email address that he will not go to your email account. Once you get

    electronic mail, do step 2.

    (2) send books of service from the BIS website. You will get an e-mail address verification

on your email address. If the services are not yet on, get a minute 1 battery with the phone.

Replace the battery and let the device reboot 1-3 minutes.

    Try your email

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Voice Mail problem: is there a way to just press 1 to enter the voicemail without entering a password?

Why do we have to enter a password every time?  is there a way to simply set a password?

You can set it up by pressing the phone button, then press the BB Menu button.  Select Options > voicemail.  You can fill out the second line (which took me forever to remember how ).  Once you have added the password, simply press the BB Menu button and select Save.  Your phone will now automatically the password for you when you call voicemail.

Emails sent from the computer using Hotmail do not appear in the BlackBerry smartphone. However, e-mails sent using BlackBerry device appears in the device as well as in Hotmail and the same is true for all incoming mail. The only question is sent with mail from Hotmail, which items do not appear in the device. I tried options email reconciliation, but the problem persists.

No emails received from a few days ago. I tried to configure the wizard's original e-mail accounts and got the message appears on the header of the message. Have you tried restarting pop battery without success. Also, during another attempt to implement email message "your connection to the mobile network is turned on, but you are not in a wireless coverage area. came. Subsequent attempts gave me the message "device had a problem..." ». Checked my wireless connections and everything is nice and connected. Messenger of Blackberry etc. everything works fine. Phone worked fine until a few days - ideas please.

Hello and welcome to the community!

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your BIS configuration for these accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones E-mails from gmail is not on Blackberry

Because I had problems with my other email account, I recently "moved" my correspondence email business to my gmail account, I had rather used as a backup before. I had both my accounts put in place on my blackberry and I remember them both increased and works well, but I cannot say with certainty that I have rarely received emails on gmail.

The problems I have now (I had also, at the same time re - configure my blackberry, but everything should be ok now) is that the gmail account is not working properly after the installation. At first, it seemed to work pretty well, but now it's extremely erratic, at best, with a few emails that crosses and their reception by the blackberry, not at all and if yes with a delay of up to a few days (!).
This makes the combination of my now main mail to gmail account and my blackberry on which I rely heavily for communication when I'm out of the House completely unusable.

I have heard and read (even if for the most part in internet posts that are a few years old) it seems to be a problem running with gmail and blackberry accounts. Is - this irreparable?

    Is there a solution?

If all else fails, use a new account (new) would be the only alternative left - which would be a messaging provider that matches 100% with the blackberry e-mail program?

    Thank you very much!

Hello and welcome to the community!

With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) Remove and return Service books

    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your configurations for the relevant accounts.

In addition, with GMail, you must be sure to have a good setting inside GMail. Via PC/browser, you control what GMail is facing the internet for your account (POP, IMAP, or both). I always recommend that you turn OFF POP and turn on IMAP in Gmail. Then set up fresh for your BB and you will have the 'best' available (IMHO) settings for GMail.

Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support. What you describe certainly shouldn't happen on a regular basis (even if we must all accept the intermittent nature of everything on the internet).

    Good luck!

  • Update blackBerry Smartphones 'Personal data' problem then 7.1.0 Bundle 1149

    Hello

Whenever I go to download the update of the software ' 7.1.0 Bundle 1149' it comes up with an error at the end by saying that I need to remove "21.4 MB of personal data", so I wonder about what exactly is 'personal data', so I can take advantage of the new update of the system...

I'd appreciate it if someone could return as soon as POSSIBLE, thank you.

There are two methods for recovering for you to try:

    One:

    • Open Blackberry Desktop Software & connect your device with the PC using the USB cable, without inserting the battery.
    • You have three Retry option, update or cancel, and then click Update.
    • Once it is at the stage of the "initialization of pocket" update, then insert the batteries.
    • If this does not work, and you get stuck on the safeguarding of social data feeds, go to the second method below.

    Second:

    • Start your BlackBerry in safe mode.  Article ID: KB17877 how to start a mode BlackBerry smartphone without failurehttp://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB17877
    • Connect to the BlackBerry Desktop Software and allow handheld to connect. If you are prompted to update, cancel the upgrade for later.
    • IF you can not connect or your desktop software does not recognize your device in Mode safe, please follow the instructions here to force detection: Article ID: KB10144 how to force detect the BlackBerry smartphone using the Application Loader
    • Go to device > delete > SELECT DATA > select this option to remove the Social flow and smart card data bases and follow the rest invites you to complete.
    • Now, you can go back and click to update the device through the Desktop Manager, or restart the BlackBerry in normal mode and continue on the upgrade of the air.
  • E-mail blackBerry Smartphones Enterprise server problems: "Sent" but not "received".

Until last Monday (3/16) my email worked fine.  I downloaded and installed version 4.7.0.32(which je n'avais pas encore utilisée-n'importe quelle version) Office Manager at my work computer.  I went through the Setup process and thought that I had done everything right.  The first sign something was wrong was that I had duplicate appointments and items to my calendar, two of everything!  I soon discovered that e-mails sent to my email to work (I have the connection with an Enterprise Server) are not transferred to my Blackberry.  The strange thing is, every email that I send TO my work email is displayed on my Blackberry.  I'm not having problems with SMS or e-mail that is transferred from my home email so I suspect I missed inadvertently to the top of my business account settings.  I checked to make sure there is no rules or filters put in place and nothing found.  I searched each of the help pages, configuration and I could find the settings. Twice! And still not found what I recognize as a solution.  I'm not really interested in the Desktop Manager, but they suspect that if I delete it out of my work computer it won't change things.  I am almost certain that my problem is related to the Desktop Manager settings, emails literally ceased to be passed right after that (checked by comparing my BB with my business account).  Thanks for the help.

OK, time to sit down and scoot up a big portion of Corneille.  Despite my first two efforts to find filters or transfer rules I found them on my third.  I don't know how I missed it, but I have an option on Fund Manager that has affected my email.  Now, I need to look like see why do I get duplicate calendar events...

  • BlackBerry smartphones transfer mail from blackberry to outlook - exchange problem

    Hello

We have a probelem yesterday with our Exchange, some may have been delete in Outlook, but there are still on the blackberry, I watch the desktop software but I don't see anything.

I wish I could move the email from the blackberry to Outlook

is there an easy way to do this?

A couple of VP are waiting for me

    Thanks for your help!

Hmmm... so, you have already successfully migrated messages to a non - BES BB. Ok. So that is totally disconnected as well Exchange Outlook? I wish I could test this for you... I thought there was a way to make the BB 1-way synchronization to Outlook. But, even once, I him didn't so that's all the theory right now... your work will prove it or not.

Hmmm... Maybe the synchronization isn't the best way. The file IPD that you used to migrate data from the real BB to this non - BES BB... this file is not natively readable by anything other than the desktop software from RIM (to be used for the restoration). But, I have heard (but never used) 3rd party applications that can analyze the file and extract information. Maybe you can get those? The only one I remember is ABC Amber Converter (or something like that)... but I don't know if it is available. You might find something (probably not free) who might get what you need from the IPD file however.

    Good luck!

  • Smartphones BB Bold blackBerry with e-mail problems

Okay, so my first post was on my gmail problems (I hope you can help with this issue!). Now, I thought to simply add my hotmail account in the meantime. Guess what? Error message "your device had a problem connecting to the server"... my BB does not work well? Certainly it is not normal to have 3 delivers all emails related, all at once.

Go to Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table.  Then press the menu button and select "save now".

You should get a message that your device has been registered on the network.  If you do not receive the message, or it does not solve your problem then I call your operator and get the support from them.
