BlackBerry Smartphones just improved my BB to 7, 0 and cannot sync my calendar with my gmail account
I know I checked all the boxes for synchronization, but it does not work. I called Rogers to see if the problem was with them. But my ID and password is empty and cannot help me. They said that with the version 7.0, it is now managed by BB team support. I have and ID and password with BB.
I'm going in a circle.
Help, please.
Just to let you know. The problem is fixed after 2 days. Mystery!

BlackBerry Tour 9630 - OS 5.0
Problem:
I got this phone from a friend who bought it at the Sprint USA. I've now warned
a Blackberry plan with my operator in France. I got a Blackberry message:
"Your handheld device was registered by the wireless network.
I got this message a few times when I rebooted the Blackberry. However, now
I'm trying to set up the e-mail account, he said that the device was not registered and
follow the following instructions:
Options -> Advanced Options -> host Routing Table -> sign up now
Which I did and then received the following message:
"The registration message sent."
But I never received any confirmation. I contacted my ISP
but since they have not marketed the 9630 they can really help.
We tried to configure and save manually the device on a web browser
on your desktop:
mobileemail. Vodafone.fr
It worked, I was able to add my device with my PIN and IMEI code and
Add an email. But still nothing on my mobile device... :'(
"Your device was a conencting the server problem.
Also I always "Activation required" on the top of the screen.
Could someone please help with this question? I don't really know how
retrieve the blackberry browser and for labour to send it.
Internet seems to work very well, I can access to Whatsapp, viber
and the web via Opera browser... But I just wanted to know if it is
possible to make full use of the Blackberry options
Thank you in advance for your help and suggestions.

Hello again,
Given that I had no solution and nothing to lose, I decided to reset the factory setting
my Blackberry by smoothing on...
And guess what... Everything seems to work perfectly well. I was able to set
e-mail messages. Browser and Blackberry logo are here! So I guess that there are incompatibilities
with the settings already on the phone and the new (from my ISP).
In any case I still don't know why it is still written Activation required on top of my screen and also
When I switch on the mobile, it is still not able to 'register' on the phone. Even if every thing
seems to work fine now.
Thanks for your help.

BlackBerry Smartphone Sync Outlook calendars with several "layers".
Hello
I have several 'layer' in my calendar in Outlook as Holiday, private, office, etc... When I sync the calendar with my H/H, however not appear only the default calendar being sync. Is it possible to synchronize the other layers as well? Thanks a bunch...
Hello
The object is to get all records associated with a calendar, which can be synchronized with Outlook.
The default calendar is the calendar of the device, items synced to it will not correctly synchronize on the desktop.
(1) delete your addresses of e-mail of the device.
(2) use the link below to clear the Calendar database.
(3) recreate the e-mail address you want to associate with your main calendar.
4) go to default services and make sure that your email address for the main calendar is specified
in the CICAL and CMIME entries. Save it.
(5) in the Office Manager, specify a one-way synchronization of Outlook to the device for the calendar only.
(6) once successful, check the calendar of primary e-mail and make sure that all records are there.
(7) run synchronization for each category separately until you have all the correct data on the BB.
(8) recreate the second email address.
(9) send service directories.
(10) the BB has now all the calendar entries in the calendar main correct email, with no record in another.
(11) on the PC, delete the intellisync folder and reconfigure the installer for normal 2 way sync.

I just installed Desktop Manager 5.0 and connected to my BB 8830. I use Outlook Express 2000 for the calendar and I want to sync it with my BB 8330. However, in Desktop Manager under Sync / Config / select the device for the calendar, the only choices are Yahoo and text import/export. Of course, it does not recognize Outlook Express 2000 as a calendar program. Does anyone have a solution?
I bought this 8830 mainly to sync its calendar with my Outlook Express calendar. If this does not work, then I'll go back to my cell phone operator.
I installed Desktop Manager 4.1 and it works now. Be aware with this version, once you connect your BB to your computer, unless you go through the Wizard Windows Found New Hardware, Desktop Manager does not recognize the connection with your BB and your computer (I don't have to do with version 5.0).
RIM should be more attentive to people with a recent phone, but still using an earlier version of Microsoft Outlook / office.

Just upgraded to El Capitan and cannot access the calendar. It opens with a message 'Moving calendars to the server.
I cannot access all features and can be closed only by using force quit.
Please stop calendar and also the application of reminders, runs. Force quit if necessary.
Back up all data.
If you synchronize some of your calendars, or reminders with iCloud, then in the iCloud preferences window, uncheck that marked calendars and reminders. You will be prompted to confirm that you want to remove your iCloud calendars and reminders of the computer. They will always be in iCloud. Re-check the boxes.
If you synchronize agendas or reminders with another network such as Google service, please open the preferences panel Internet accounts. Make a note of the settings for calendar accounts, then delete and recreate.
Launch schedule and see if there is an improvement.

Ideas of blackBerry Smartphones to improve my battery life standby
I am a long-time user of BB - having previously had the curve and versions "BOLD". I just upgraded to the new OS7 Torch 9810 and found a difference in the time of Eve. I used to do a day - sometimes 2 days the battery life on my "BOLD" but now find with use limited - it's only a duration to the 5 better hours.
I tried all the tips - reduced, made sure wireless screen brightness and bluetooth is deactivated, removed all older apps, closed all applications. Still say 2 texts, 2 Summary of calls and receipt of 20 emails a day (without opening attachments) - I still not only 5 hours! Can anyone suggest other ideas please because I don't want to resort to buying a spare battery, but the nature of my work takes me charges battery all day
On device, go to Options, device, application management is a great way to see what your applications with your use of the CPU on #Torch. Simply drag bar greater than CPU and see what happens. Also touch the CPU menu to see other time variables. I discovered that an application has been eroding CPU cycles on my own
Also power off of Compression Option, device, storage can help too.
I guess you did a sweater batttery?
Try a battery pull if you please, with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery 15 seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot the device. This will clear all hide as restarting a PC. Then try again and see if the problem persists.

My torch blackBerry smartphones just guard reboot
Hi, today I downloaded a free app named 'Never Miss A App' sent me a link S4BB. My torch then started a restart and since then, that's all what he will do. I tried to connect it to my office of BB, but it does not connect and office displays the message that the torch is shutdown or restart. Seems to me I'm drunk as now, the phone seems unnecessary.
Any suggestions please?
I contacted S4BB who sent an automated response acknowledging my email and asking if there is anything else they can do. Not very useful and they are based in Hong Kong.
before that, try safe mode

BlackBerry Smartphones just bought a Blackberry "BOLD" in Thailand to be used in the Philippines
Hi all
I recently bought a new 'fat' in Thailand. It cost me about 600 U.S. Dollars and this is unlocked. I used my SIM from the Philippines who wandered in time and was able to send a text message, so I guess it works OK. I have a few questions, however.
The Unit came with a Vodafone logo, and the manual is in German. There is also a flash start page that says Vodaphone. I guess I can download a manual on the Blackberry site. Anyone have a quick link to such a download?
Second, the software supplied with the unit disk is defective. I must have damaged it because it has a scratch and will not work. Cannot read the files on the disk. I noticed a version 4.7 with support tools available for download on the site Web of Blackberry. What is the equivalent of what's on the disc that came with the phone?

You can still downgrade the OS to what you had before... but you didn't state what kind 83xx curve you. Look at the Options > subject, what model?

OK, I can't say enough. But I'm like described KB as a lack of policy is NOT what you have, which means that you have a COMPUTER policy on your device. It's just weird because I've never seen a COMPUTER policy like what you describe, but then of course I have not seen anyone.
So, I think (it's more than that, actually) is that you do indeed have a policy COMPUTER on your device that may well be the reason for the failure of the installation, you encounter.
If it's a working or otherwise associated with certain BES service device, then you need to talk to anyone who provides the BES service on your problem... they control what is the it policy.
If this is not a working device and/or you do not subscribe to any service of BES-level from anyone, then the conjecture is that you have received this camera as previously used, and the previous owner didn't properly clean the it policy, leaving you with a latent policy causing you these problems. To remedy this situation, you must make sure you have a full backup, according to the link in my sig auto on my posts. Then proceed you to this:
- Article ID: KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings
Once finished, your device will be like new again, with nothing on it... No. data, no added applications, etc. If you continue to restore the backup, do not forget that you DO NOT make a simple full restore... restore instead, only those databases that you need (e.g., contacts, calendar, etc.) and more precisely to avoid any database that have nothing to do with BES, business, political, etc. If you restore that contains the it policy, it he will dutifully restore your BB and you will be right where you are now.
Good luck!

I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... ( Please wait for this before moving on to the next step) :

- With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.
I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your BIS configuration for these accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

What happens when you try? An error message? Something else?

Hello
I would like to know how can I have dial-up networking (via my Pearl 9100 OS 6 as a modem for my Macbook Pro 6.2 wireless) and also the information that should be applied for Telstra Australia...
Thank you
Hello and welcome to the community!
Reference:
- KB19641 How to configure a BlackBerry smartphone as a modem attached to a Mac
Note carefully please that this feature requires your service plan to include the ability... not all levels of service include plan, and not all carriers offer. In addition, sometimes additional software for your computer must be obtained from the carrier. But, carrier specific questions should be directed to the carrier... here, we can only give you the credits information... your operator must provide you with all of the specific information required.
Good luck!

BlackBerry smartphones can not sync the calendar with BTYahoo
I have setup my Blackberry 9780 (running version 6) to synchronize with my BTYahoo email and contacts with success, but the calendar is not just sync. There seems to not be any interaction between the Blackberry calendar and BTYahoo.
My service provider is O2. O2 support said it is a known problem and I have to rebuild my Blackberry, but I hope for a less dramatic solution and one that seems specific to my problem rather than a generic answer to a problem.
Does anyone have any ideas or knowledge about it?
Hello and welcome to the community!
In fact, I'm not sure that what you desire is even possible... refer to this:
- KB03652 By comparing the BlackBerry Internet Service and BlackBerry Enterprise Server features
Note that via BIS, calendar wireless is available only for Gmail... not Yahoo. You can check a second time inside the e-mail on the device Configuration Wizard - if you change your Yahoo settings, tic-boxes for the OTA synchronization that is available there. If only the Contacts ICT - box is visible, then calendar is not available for OTA synchronization.
Good luck!

BlackBerry Smartphones separating Enterprise Server Email from other email and messaging accounts
Hello
My work to put in place my company e-mail email today, and all my emails are placed under the 'catch all' 'messages icon. So my work email is interdisperesed between my SMS, email from comcast, etc.. I noticed that I can select "View folder" then "inbox" and it gives me my work email inbox, but these are additional steps that I would avoid. Is it possible to create a separate icon only on behalf of corporate e-mail? I noticed a software package called empower (http://www.getempower.com/Empower_BES_MailBox.php), but my guy TI said they were not sure about the software.
Thanks in advance!
TK
Unfortunately no. You described the problem to the T. The Messages icon is a catch-all. You can separate the other accounts to the different icons, but not the BES account. Empower the mailboxes BES is a good app and works well. But if you use that you can create a custom search that allows access to your BES email just access key.
- Open your Messages, view the menu and select Search.
- Change the following fields while leaving them nothing not mentioned blank or unchanged default value.
Service: Office
Show: received only - Display the menu and select Save.
- Choose a title and shortcut key. (I used L for Lotus Notes)
- Display the menu and select Save.
Now every time your messages screen, you can press ALT + L (or this that never shortcut key you chose) and you have a picture with only your work showing messages.
