  I also read on combining SMS and MMS messages in a type of message unique-is it possible?  Can I combine at the reception/outboxes box?

  You can split the TEXT to an icon that is clean and deletes Messages. Go here:

  • Home screen > Messages > BBKey > Options > General Options

  Scroll down to the setting that says something like TEXT Messages in Inbox (something like that... my OS is different, so I can't). Change that to "Separate" and you will then have a new icon on your homescreen dedicated to SMS/MMS.

  Hi all!

  the e-mail on my 9320 function does not work correctly. I have correctly configured my gmail on mydevice account and I get emails and receive notifications when they arrive, HOWEVER...

  When I opened the email all I see is heading for the topic and who it is from, there is no message body. Looking back through my old emails, the only ones I have read completely are those that I received BlackBerry when I first set up my email confirming the installation. If I select answer or forward, it opens the E-mail project but then the email app is closed completely and I'm suddenly brought to my home screen.

  With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

  My Blackberry Curve 8300 has just started to act very strange! Yesterday, I tried to scroll through my text messages and I can not at all!   Whenever random strange behaviors creep, the best thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning.   Now, I'm waiting on my phone and im trying to use my trackball to scroll down, but his does not work?

  I have not played on with all the settings or anything, I tried to turn off the phone, tried to pull out the battery and its still not not scrolling down...

  Try these options:

  • Hard Reset BlackBerry by holding ALT CAP (right Shift key) and DEL (or removing and reinserting the battery)
  • Messages > saved Messages
  • Messages > view folders, check each folder (calls, SMS and MMS, and boxes, saved missed boxes, browser, phone logs etc.)
  • Defiler, scroll to the top of the page of the message file, above the menu date heading, click or tap to MARK PRIOR OPEN
  • Change your theme and see if it persists and return to your desired theme. (Options > theme > select.)
  • Clean and reload your OS.

• Symbol blackBerry Smartphones without screen SMS messages

  My Blackberry Pearl 8120 has no symbol screen for SMS messages and so whenever I get a new message, it goes into the pot in general my 2 email accounts and I review all the messages to see. It has always been like this and I thought it would be OK, but it really starts to bother now. Do I need to download something or get an update? How can I do this?

  You can separate TEXT Messages and e-mail inboxes by opening your Inbox. Click on the BB button and select Options. And then select General Options, down in the list of parameters is SMS and e-mail accounts - set it to separate.

  That should fix it for you.

  You can try to clear the database of Messages. Just note that this will clear so all messages from the device. To do this connect the BlackBerry to your computer and go to the Office Manager.   I think you can try two things: the soft reboot, and if it does not, the hard reboot. Don't worry, you can not lose data with these two reboots.

  Soft reboot:
  1) struck the following three keys at the same time:
  -Alt
  -Right shift
  -Remove
  (2) wait 2 minutes for the Blackberry to wake up.

  Hard reboot:
  (1) your BlackBerry smart phone is on
  (2) remove the battery and wait a minute
  (3) replace the battery
  (4) wait 5 minutes for the device to wake up.
