BlackBerry smartphones move icons!

Hello

I can't move 3 Games downloaded icons, they are only in the downloads and all panels.
There are no options when I click on the game icon, so how do I move them into the Games folder?

Messages can take many forms, with emails using only a subset of the possible types total of messages. So, I suggest a search of message:

  • BlackBerry smartphones not icons on my 8320 wallpaper

I think I accidentally deleted something & then suddenly all my icons on the screen main dissappeared.  And all I get is a white yellow circle that I can move down the screen.  Also after accidental deletion, I have intermittently had 'Error 523' with 'Reboot' or something like that.  On the second screen where it would normally show all of the icons, I get only a blank screen (just to show my background) with no icons.  It however shows things like the symbol of battery, symbol of wifi, notifications, etc.

I reinstalled the latest firmware that I could reinstall.  He restored the icons on the secondary screen but none on the first screen and still only get a white yellow circle that I can come and go across the screen.  & I also lost the ability to 'move' icons.  Even tried 'Alt + BB button' & not able to move icons

I out the battery, Sim Card and memory card & then reinserted them.  Still no icons on the first screen & on the second screen, where all the icons would show is now empty again.

Anyone know how I can restore the first screen icons?  How do I get the rear move feature & get all my icons to not disappear on the second screen?

Ok. So I went through the same process to reinstall the most recent firmware that I could install and now everything seems to work great so far!

The 6 icons appear at the bottom of the main screen & full list of icons appeared on the second screen.

Don't know why it worked as the only thing I did differently was pulled out the memory of the SIM card & also to the timeI had taken out the battery.

So I can now say that the problem is solved!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones missing icon

I had to do a reset on my phone, as it has been very slow and kept in freezing but my blackberry email account icon has now disappeared. Anyone know how to get it back?

Is not reset. Two different things.

Since you have wiped the device, you must always push your Service books to the BlackBerry.

  • How can smartphones blackBerry I move icons to the top my screen

    My top screen contains

    Voicemail

    Call log

    Text/media messages

    Calendar

In the menu screen in the upper part is Contacts - I want to put it on the home screen - how can I do?

From the home screen, press the Menu key once to display the full icon.

You will notice that the top line here corresponds to the row of icons on the main home screen.

So now, any icon you want on the home screen, just highlight it (do not click the trackball) and press Menu > move.

Scroll this icon in the top row, and then click on to release it.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones move all Contacts from the SIM?

I'm changing to a 9700 for a 9790. I have a ton of contacts in the internal memory of the old phone and need to move all the way to the SIM card so I can pass the info on the new phone. Is there a way to copy all the contacts at once on the SIM card? Otherwise, I'll spend a week moving one by one.

    Hi jgazolm

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community Forums

Not on our smartphone BlackBerry you can not copy all Contacts from a SIM card at the same time, if you want to copy you make one because the BlackBerry address book is much more robust it will be a different arrangement with a resource person and several areas of information (phone cell phone, work phone, home phone, e-mail address, etc.) while the SIM card SIM card allows only one entry per phone number.

KB04205 : copy a Contact to your address book to the SIM phone.

You go from 9700 to 9790 option switch device Wizard will use BlackBerry Desktop Software it will transfer all your data from your old phone to the new.

KB23677 : How do I switch using BlackBerry Desktop Software devices.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Email icon will not be displayed

I've added an email account to my weeks of phone and the little icon appeared immediately and I received messages.

Randomly, today, the icon has disappeared from my home screen (although the email will continue to come through my Messages folder).  I tried everything turning the phone off tension, then back on, delete the account and setting up again and nothing.

Anyone know why that would happen?

I have a few other suggestions:

    1. It could have been hidden or moved to another folder accidentally.  The absolute best way to fix this is to Options > theme, press the BB Menu key and select Reset default theme.  It will take all of the icons that were accidentally hidden and re - expose their (and move all icons back to their original position).  Note that you need to move all the icons you want moved again.  Try doing a battery pull after that as well.  This could bring.  If this is not the case, proceed to the next step.
    2. Re-register your device on the BlackBerry network and resend your service books.  To re-register your device, go to Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table.  Press the BB Menu key, then click on register now.  You will get a new message from the BlackBerry network.  If you can access your site from the BIS, connect via your phone (review the configuration > e-mail settings) or through your computer (Google your carrier + BIS as keywords if you do not know the site).  Once you have connected, on your Storm, press the BB Menu key, and select send Service directories.  On a computer, select Service books in the left menu and return them there.  If you do not know your login information, you can contact the technical support of your operator and ask them to send the directories of service for you.  It takes just a minute.  Once again, followed with a battery pull.

I hope that one of these two suggestions will work!  Keep us informed!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Hidding icons in the panels.

I have a BlackBerry Bold 9900 OS7 running. I tried hidding icons in the different panels, but as soon as I reset the phone by removing the battery and insterting again, they appear again and I have to hide them all again.

    Tips to keep hidden?

Make a folder on your home screen and name it something like 'Hidden' or 'Junk '.

Now to move these icons IN this folder (hover over the icon > Menu button > move to folder)

You can choose to hide this folder as well. Now, all of your 'hidden' icons are in the same place.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Facebook icon missing on 8310 with OS 4.5

    Hello

After upgrading to 4.5, some icons were irrelevant and a custom folder was gone, so I started to move. When I started to move the icon of the Facebook app, he disappeared. I have never seen it before. I guess I he accidentally falls into a folder, but it is in any of my files. I selected "show all", but it is not hidden. The app is listed in my applications.

So, I thought that I have just to delete and re-install the application. I did and once again the app shows in my applications, but there is no icon. I see even notifications at the top of my screen indicating that I have new messages on Facebook, but I have no way to open the application.

I've now deleted and reinstalled 3 times but with the same results. I found a message that indicates that there was a problem with the 4.5 OS and the Facebook app and I need a newer version of the application, but the link took me to the same version I have.

Any ideas on how I can get my Facebook back icon?

    Kevin

I see that you did some research yourself congratulations on that.
If I wereyou, I would try two things:
the soft reboot, and if it does not, the hard reboot. Don't worry, you can not lose data with these two reboots.

    Soft reboot:
    1) struck the following three keys at the same time:
    -Alt
    -Left shift
    -Remove
    (2) wait 2 minutes for the Blackberry to wake up.

    Hard reboot:
    (1) your BlackBerry smart phone is on
    (2) remove the battery and wait a minute
    (3) replace the battery
    (4) wait 5 minutes for the device to wake up.

Please tell us if it works for you.

and if it does not, you can change the theme and see if the application is displayed.

  • BlackBerry smartphone App icons disappear from the home screen

    Hello

I had to wipe my Priv, I typed the wrong password (when changed, I probably did not notice a mistake I made).

Thanks to the backup, I extract all my applications.

The problem is that I don't have the icons of the apps on my home screen once again, and I can't figure out how to do again.

    Any idea?

    Thank you

Yes, if you never download a launcher, which should be BlackBerry Launcher. I hope that BlackBerry will hear you I mean maybe they will understand the home backup screen. :-)

  • BlackBerry Smartphones world icon missing app

HI - sorry if this has been solved before and/or requested but I searched and could not "find something. I just got a blackberry storm a few days ago and downloaded the world of blackberry apps and when I go to my download folder is not there and I can't find the app world icon anywhere. It is said that it is installed when I look at my application centre but I'm at a loss to know where he is. Thanks in advance for any help. Jamie

Try to always a wrenching batt. And then try to reinstall just it - it should allow you to install on top of a previous installation without problem.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Facebook icon not showing on the home screen

The facebook icon does not appear on the home screen.  I deleted the facebook app, downloaded again, removed the battery, resent service books, re-registered my Blackberry.  Nothing works.  Any help?

    1. look in EVERY folder on your device... Applications, instant messaging, downloads, etc.
If you don't see it still, look at the Options > advanced > Applications. Do you not see it listed there?

2 is it hidden? On your home screen, press Menu > SHOW ALL, so that ALL DISPLAY is checked.

Now, back in ALL these folders.
