BlackBerry Smartphones placeholder to fool compiler message

I just got a message to update an application to my celphone (Google). When I opened the Blackberry App World, a message appeared that said 'space reserved for compiler fool' and gives me the possibility to accept or not. I read in another forum that someone else has this same problem and when he hit accept his celphone stuck to remedy this I went for "I do not accept", but then theres no way I can go in the Blackberry App World. What am I supposed to do? Thank you!

In fact, very strange. But...

MemoBoquin00 wrote:

Should I hit him accept? What is the worst that can happen?

Given that I've never seen this message, I have no idea how to answer either of these questions. It is possible that it will make you totally unusable BB... it is possible that nothing serious will happen... it is also possible that anything between these two extremes is possible. I have no idea, frankly.

MemoBoquin00 wrote:

I reinstalled the app world, which was already the latest version, but I still get the same message

Hmmm... not knowing the process you tried to reinstall AW, I feel obliged to provide you with:

Please try a hard reboot: light, remove the back cover and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

In addition, you can try this sequence:

(1) AppWorld remove your BB (Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Applications)-if she prays that you restart the BB to do.

(2) a Batt Pull restart as described above.

3) install a new copy of AppWorld (on your BB)

  • Yet once, if he asks to restart, do.

(4) restart another Batt-sweater

(5) see if it works now.

The last thing I can think is a full reload of operating system, but let's stay on it for the moment.

See you soon!

Still confused, because I do not see you. By "record", I assume you mean the separate E-mail icon that was created when you went ahead and created the email account this time again? When it works correctly, you have really no duplicates - instead, you have the same email showing in two different places... one 'mirror' of the other, in a sense.

But in fact should not do, however, so I'll notify then what do you is of (please, this time, to do this and nothing more!):

    1. Remove all THE email accounts of this device
    2. Perform a battery pull reboot
    3. Drive again the steps of the post 4 above (this time, however, please tell me that "done you these steps"... Please confirm each step translates exactly as I indicated above)

  • BlackBerry Smartphones location of saved Text messages and downloads please as a desire to update the device software

I have a Blackberry 9300. I noticed while testing option 'restore' in Blackberry Desktop Software 'Saved messages' is grey so not able to restore and downloaded programs were not included in the backup course so I'm delaying the update of the OS 6 bundle OS 6 bundle 1879 2949 until I can get these issues resolved. First of all, where are my saved text messages would be they located on the SD card? Secondly, where are the downloaded applications and how would bring him back, I should reinstall individually or is there a better method I guess updating the software of the device would eliminate any reference to them? I mention this as I save some of my text messages I can consult at any time by selecting 'View the Messages stored' in the menu messages text, which lists the emails and text messages, that you saved.

The Interface of Messages is against the databases on the BB... Watch a saved messages can be as simple as a filter that is applied to display only those, but always from the same database. Also understand that the 'Messages' is a term Super set, with "email", "SMS", and other types of messages into subsets.

As I said, I suspect saved SMS Messages to be a subset of the base of great set 'SMS Messages"together with the message 'saved' being a subset within this database.

I can't answer definitively for you because I've never had the problem you are experiencing. You may need to test to know for sure.

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

  • BlackBerry smartphone App Inaccessible World - Error Message "App World has been blocked"

    Dear all,

I recently bought one of mark Sprint Blackberry Curve 9350 (in excellent condition) on Amazon, and the phone is fully functional, except that whenever I try to access the Blackberry App World I get a pop-up message reading "App World has been blocked".

At first, when I changed my line of Sprint prior to my new curve, the phone has completely wiped and reset.  I started to use the various functions and only a few days later, realized that I can't access App World.  I talk to several representatives of Sprint and in the few days has taken the following steps, all without success:

    Uninstalled and reinstalled App World

Do you have a Batt pull with the phone on, uninstalled and reinstalled App World and made another Batt-sweater

Addict connected the phone to my laptop computer and uninstalled App World via Blackberry Desktop Manager

As I bought the phone on Amazon, I do not think the guaranteed protection applies.  However, it seems incongruous that all other applications and the phone features work, with the exception of the App World.

Could someone please suggest measures to address the problem and to App World accessible?

Also, could someone please advise if I can bypass the App World app and install Blackberry apps on the curve directly through the Blackberry Desktop Manager and, if so, what steps are?

    Many thanks in advance,

    Colby

    Hello

From this description, I suspect that a latent policy is on your BB that blocks AW. Normally, the error message would say more than that you reported and would be more indicative... but it's I think of what you have provided.

To clean, you have actually several things you need to do... from checking to see if it is indeed the case:

    • KB30076 How to check for an it on a BlackBerry smartphone policy

Unfortunately, there are also a few situations with 'stealth' COMPUTER strategies that exist, but are not actually display as per the above. Again, the complete error message may have provided a better hint this topic.

However, I think you need to take steps in any case, especially in light of your method of supply. Reference:

    • KB05099 Steps to take before selling or after the purchase of a used BlackBerry smartphone

Although it may look as if someone has or do you a lot of that, I think you need to see it again to be sure. None of these methods to WIPE would actually have relatively far BB COMPUTING policy. Instead, you must run the ResetToFactory process, which I recommend you do instead of (or in addition to) the WIPE which recommends the KB:

    • KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings

In addition, you must be careful if you have already placed on the BB data that you need to maintain. You can backup/restore your device before and after these wipes, but you must be careful when you restore... don't do a full restore or you will simply put the return policy on board IT again. On the contrary, do a selective restore only the databases that you need and be 100% sure to avoid any database which have nothing to do with politics:

    • KB03974 List of database for the blackBerry smartphone

Finally... given this situation, it is quite possible that there are additional challenges with this specific BB. For example, if the BRI account is locked due to the BB being previously reported as lost or stolen, nothing don't you can do about it, and you will never be able to have all the services. But Orange should definitely be able to tell if that is the case.

    cbhjenkins wrote:

    These methods exist:

    • KB14473 How to install an application on a smart phone BlackBerry with the BlackBerry Desktop Software
    • KB04670 Install a third-party application with the Application Loader
    • KB28715 How to install BlackBerry App World applications, using a computer system

However, there is no way of knowing if the it policy will also block these methods.

Hi and welcome to the forums,

You have 64 MB of memory total on your device. You sent that you have 0bytes free.

15 MB of free space would be regarded as a minimum.

Most people close the applications by pressing escape or the red button. This does not close the applications.

Each application has an option close. For example, if you are in the calendar, press the menu key (spotted) and scroll down to the bottom close is listed.

One when you're done using the browser, press menu and options, select cache operations,

Delete all categories and press ESC it will clean the browser cache.

Select the memory clean option on the BB. Go to options, security, memory, cleaning, activate it.

The BB will now clean up the memory when idle for 5 minutes.

Links attached to manage memory efficiently.

Mainly because there is no such thing. The front line support is rather, contract, liability of carriers, resellers and authorized service centers (it varies according to the region and the specific question). Everyone has the opportunity to climb up to BlackBerry cases requiring improved support, but end users have no (free) direct path to request anything be it directly from BlackBerry.

There is something called incident support, but it costs to just ask the original question, since you are not through the contract, you signed at the time of purchase. If you want to study, you can check it out here:

    Hello

I recently had to buy a new smartphone, and I, as a die hard fan of BlackBerry, chosen 9560 "BOLD". It was a third unlocked phone that works with my cells T-Mobile provider. However, I can not send or receive text messages with images. I contacted T-Mobile and they sent me instructions on how to change my APN, but it did not help. Maybe someone knows how to turn my phone to send pictures.

    Thank you.

Hello and welcome to the community!

MMS (what is "picture messaging") depends on your device having a good plan your provider BIS. BIS requires the reception on your device, Service books your provider. The ability to offer books to your device depends on your device is compatible with your network of carriers.

So, with all this, I recommend that you re - contact TMO for you sure you meet all of these criteria... only they can tell you if your specific device model is even compatible with their network of data and more if they have configured a package of sufficient data to enable the MMS for you.

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come):

    (1) registry HRT

  • BlackBerry smartphones, you respond to text Messages on the 9320

Well today, I had my first couple of messages from a couple of buddies of mine, and I'm completely confused here just how to respond to them and how do you know that they have been sent.

The manual for the Blackberry Curve 9320 is totally wrong with the way she described to do, and the usual topics that are on every other mobile, I had like to click on something and hit the word response does not exist on this phone from what I see.

When I read the text of people message there is a bar in which you can type in, and it says press R to answer. I have done this and typed something and as you is gone and you press the Send button. But that brings up a box asking if I want to call the person. So I thought well lets you press back on the Qwerty keyboard. So I did, and I don't know if his Envoy that I can't find anywhere on the phone who tells you your message is sent.

Could someone help here, because they seem to have made many a supermarket changing here with this 9320 in comparison with the 8520.

    Hi intruder 461,

You said we had the problem in responding to text Messages, well I'll try: when someone sends you a Message and when you open it you will see a bar below, if you want to reply to this message just type in this Bar and press the button Menu (icon blackberry) how has your trackpad moved top down you can see the send option Just click, or in short, after writing just press the Enter key to send the message.

And if you are composing a new text message, click the message text icon click the Menu key and with your trackpad click Composer. the text Message then the Message screen at the top where it is written as. (Here you have enter the name or the Contact to whom you want to send the message) Then write your message in the bar and send it as above mentioned.

To confirm the message has been sent or not, click on the text message icon on your home screen, then you can see all the names or the contacts of all messages that you have received or sent, to confirm the press on all contact that you send message and if its been sent then it will be marked as the right top.

I hope you understand. Enjoy and take care

  • BlackBerry Smartphones cannot SEND the SMS messages on 8130

    Here is my story:

    1. I've upgraded to a Blackberry Pearl 8130 pink in the beginning of the year.   My carrier is Verizon.

    2. recently (a month ago) a friend sent a text message to me of his new phone.  I tried to text back, but received a big big red X indicating that my message isn't getting through.  Specifically, when I opened my message, the error says, "State of the Mobile equipment has failed."

    3. I went to Verizon.  They did something where I think that they took me off the network and then get back on.  There is nothing.  She wanted to make a hard game on the phone, but I had not backed up my data again.

    4. I went home and my data backed up and returned to Verizone about a week later.  I spend more than an hour in the store.  The gentleman who helped me was on the phone with someone (no doubt technical support) nothing works.  He was ready to order me a phone replacement, but after further discussions with technical support, they thought there was a problem with the network, not my phone.  I went home with a case number.

    5. the next day same Verizon called.  They said it wasn't a network problem and it was my phone.  They would send me a replacement.

    6. I received my replacement phone a few days later.  I was anxious to get it set up, but the results were the same.  I have not yet returned to Verizon.  I thought I'd try everything here first see if anyone had any ideas.

    The bottom line:

    I CAN send/receive emails.

CAN I send an MMS message.

    I CAN receive text Messages.

    I can't send SMS messages.

Thanks for any advice you may have.

    -Sandra

    Tami,

Thanks for the reply.  I happy to point out, however, that the problem has been resolved by Verizon!  It has never been my phone, that's why the replacement was a mute point.  Anyway, here is their answer (in case someone else has this problem):

Sandra, we reviewed your account and coding in any of our servers.  We believe that we have found the problem and fixed it.  We ask that you update your PRL (preferred roaming list) by calling the * 228, option 2.  Once completed please test your ability to send text messages.

I'm just glad that the problem has been resolved because my frustration was very high.

    Happy texting!

Welcome to the BlackBerry support community.

To resolve this problem, could you please confirm the current location for your backups be saved? To do this, open BlackBerry Desktop Software for Mac and click the BlackBerry Desktop Software option in the upper left corner next to the apple icon.
Then select Preferences and change the location of the backup or the Reset button allows you to change the location in the Documents of your current user account folder. Then try to use the backup.
