  It is a problem with the headphone jack.  I would try insert and remove the helmet several times (many multiple!) to see if it will fix itself.  If not, then you will need to have the device replaced.

  Use Curve 9300 n in this when the phone rings, if I press the trackpad, the stop ring (maybe too much work for your model of BB)... best way to stop ringing if suddenly your phone starts ringing at a place where it shouldn't sound...

  Next, you can put your BB "vibrate" mode by pressing the "Q" for 1 second and to change to the previous mode, simply press the 'Q' again for 1 sec...

  The weather is supposed to show on my BlackBerry Pearl 8110 desktop?  I saw screenshots of the application and the time is displayed in text along the bottom of BlackBerry Desktop not only on the icon of the app but, it was on another BlackBerry device model.  No biggie if not bc the weather is displayed on the icon, I just make sure that I'm not missing something.

  Over the few days I warned to fast battery draining (1 to 2 hours with normal use, before it was 6-8 hours). So I thought that the battery is over. Bought a new original.

  I disable: ring, wifi, gps, unused apps. clean the battery contacts, leaving in charge for 12 hours. nothing to do. battery in a very short time.

  Good then today I swapped from a 7130e to a 8330 (verizon)

  I managed to remove the old political security using Jl_Cmder (which worked fine) and I got rid of the firewall so issue.

  Phone was working fine until I tried to use the device switch Wizard, the operating system of lobbying to halfway through the process of upgrading the 8330 upgrade failed. I tried to upgrade to the latest release 8330AMEA_PBr4_1.5.0_rel101_PL3.2.0.51_A4.5.0.77.exe verizon.

• BlackBerry smartphone app error 603 and BBDS does not recognize my device

  Here's the situation: the battery ran out on my unit earlier this week. When I started to charge, the unit will start automatically restart. Before restarting, the messages "error app 603' and 'reset' appeared. If I click "reset", the whole process starts again.

  FYI - Your indignation is misplaced. This site has nothing to do with any formal support. On the contrary, this site is a community of users to volunteers who do their best, while also living their own lives occupied, to troubleshoot other kind souls to the best of their ability. There is no requirement for all voluntary meet any position whether... everything is voluntary, which is given to you by the goodness of their hearts. All they ever receive in return is gratitude... so unworthy of these volunteers can be a bit off-putting, I think.

  In any case you say you reboot and for a while, things are OK, but then the problem shows once again. Which could be a few different things... a bad OS... a bad app behave... maybe same material (although I doubt that your description so far).

  Have you checked for an OS updated for your BB? Since you said only 7.1 (OS levels have 4 bytes, not 2) and later does not reveal your carrier, there is no way to help you... but you can help you in this regard:

  First of all, please update the BlackBerry smartphone to the latest version of BlackBerry Device Software available before contacting the service provider wireless for repair or replacement options.   If the problem persists after reloading or upgrade, contact the vendor of wireless services for repair options or replacement should the smartphone BlackBerry still fall under the warranty coverage.

  I haven't bought a 9700 ROGERS no contract to replace my phone to work. The policy of the company, is that none of the mobile devices cannot have any method of navigation interenet.   Before you start:
  Install your current OS on your smart phone BlackBerry to your PC.

  1. on the PC, go to C:\ProgramFiles\CommonFiles\ResearchInMotion\Share d\LoaderFiles\OS version\Java.
  Create a new folder and name it deleted.

  2A c:\ProgramFiles\CommonFiles\ResearchInMotion\Share d\LoaderFiles\OS version\Java

  Find the .cod named net_rim_bb_browser_dameon and move it to your new folder cod.

  3. plug the device and on your PC, open the Desktop Managver > AppLoader > Add/Remove programs and work your way through the process to remove the net_rim_bb_browser_dameon module. You won't notice any changes until after you see the screen of the Application loader, don't click on the boxes, click Next, then finish. ONLY you will see it after clicking Finish a quick notice that the module browser_daemon is deleted.

  Close DM at the end leave your device restart.

  After a reboot, you can get a java error at startup. Ignore it.
