BlackBerry Z10 BBID

My wife and I just upgraded to new phones Z10. We have great difficulty with BBID. We couldn't retain or recover the BBID from our old phone, so our carrier suggested that we create a new one, I did for my phone. Now when I enter the new BBID and password, I get a message saying that I connect with the old. If I do a cleaning of the phone will also help me get rid of the old BBID and start over? Also if I do a wipe it erase my contacts?

Yes, you'll need to security wipe your device to use a different BBID thereon.

Doing so will wipe all personal preferences and your contacts.

Try using a free contacts as InTouch Contacts backup application before erasing, AppWorld and restore this backup after the connection with the new BBID.

    Hi, I recently bought a new Blackberry Z10 camera. I started setting up. I wanted to create a Blackberry user ID if I entered an email address that I use frequently. I got an error message stating that the e-mail address is already in use. I thought that I never used a Blackberry ID/product/service forward. I couldn't understand why this email address was used, then after you have re-entered it a few times I decided to try using another email address that I use as often. On two or three years I created BBM on my Iphone with a Blackberry ID for text messaging. I used a couple of times and didn't use it thereafter. Rather than confirm the BBID, I saw an option: If you did not create or do not recognize this account, remove this BlackBerry ID. Which is what I did. I deleted it. Because I didn't use this BBID. Then I tried to connect the Z10 with the BBID, I created three years ago (before logon on the phone I have to reset my password on the site Web of Blackberry). I could not log in with the old BBID, I created while all the information is correct (I can log on to the Web from Blackberry site, see my profile and settings). The phone tell me the username and password is wrong when I click on the button check that it is just for the opening session with my information screen. The problem is that the phone keeps the profile settings and e-mail address since when I put in place a few days ago and I can't get rid of it, because it is associated with the phone. I read on the forum somewhere, that, in order to get rid of a BBID who is on the phone, I would need to do a reset and community support of Blackberry. Not sure if this is true. The issue is when I try to do that, I have to enter the password that I deleted so I'm stuck BBID. Don't know what to do. I'm all new to Blackberry and would appreciate any support you could give me to solve this issue.

    Indeed, this information is true. The only way to remove the association between a device and a BBID must WIPE the device. But... you've discovered...

    This means that the device must execute the last branch 10.3.2.xxxx of the operating system, which includes the anti-theft function required by the Government, which requires that before a device is deleted, the anti-theft function BBProtect be first to be defeated before the wipe.   • BlackBerry Bond try to remove newly Blackberry leap BBID configuration

    I recently bought a BlackBerry Bond and added my email as the BBID. However, a few days later, I forgot the password I put for the BBID and so cannot change enamel BBID (since I wanted to change the email). I tried the Edit option, but since he is asking password, I was helpless.

    Then, I went open my email inbox and delete my id by clicking on the link provided in the email sent by Blackberry start.

    Now, I am unable to set up the BBM because it asks me to confirm my BBID, which I can't do since enamel is not currently registered. (But the phone always displays the e-mail address that is not registered as my BBID)

    I found the password associated with my BBID today and I tried to put that, however every time I do this... message "unknown error occurred" appears.

    I am currently doing a Wipe of phone security, but I don't think it will be a great help, because the version of the OS is 10.3.2.something

    I went through the previous posts in this forum about similar issues (for example https://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Z10/Trying-to-remove-newly-setup-BBID-from-Z10-an...  ... but I didn't have confirmed my email for BBID, nor that I had implemented the functionality of BBProtect Anti - Theft

    Just to let you know... Fortunately, since then my BBID email has not been confirmed and BBProtect Anti theft has not been activated, a security wipe solved the problem!

    I use 2 phones and I am ready to create a new blackberry on the 2nd ID, but it requires an email address and I don't have that one email address that I use for everything. I want to know if it is possible to create a new BBID with the same e-mail address but different password. The main thing is I want both phones to be active and fully functional, but I don't have a single address email and I prefer not to create another email address, because I love all of my emails in one place rather then having 2 email addresses. I don't want any phone be disabled. I do not fear one of the BBM is turned off, as long as at least one works. Both phones are a Blackberry Curve 9320 and a Blackberry z10, which is one waiting to be activated.

    No this is not possible, the e-mail address you used your BBID, is associated with the device that you use it on. It is also the BBID username. And cannot be used on another device, no matter that there is a different password.

    I suggest that you create a new e-mail account, just for the sole purpose of using it as a BBID.

    Do you mean that you have installed the beta on our device?  Let's be clear, the BlackBerry does not have beta versions of developer to the user.  You have installed.

    You will have to wait until the official release.  Everything I read, you cannot downgrade to an official release.

    The Blackberry music gateway solves this problem (kind of) works better... when the two jabra or any other headset device is connected and the music gateway is connected it muffles call correctly and works correctly...

    The new problem is introduced only if you have a headset (bluetooth or hands-free headset) that also supports music services. (The two compete to connect to theses services)

    I suggest buying a hands-free device that does not support music services (only a helmet) and then you should not meet for the problem below

    On the z10 blackberry, sometimes you can't get out the camera... for some reason any the shot does not do anything and you're stuck out there. The only way out is by clicking on the photo album and then get out of there!

    Here to find the solution for my beloved BlackBerry Z10 STL100-3

    One day, precisely 26 May 2016 my Z10 battery Blackberry went below 5% or something, I rushed to connect it to the charger but before doing so; It is just off. I plugged in the charger for several hours, but it went to reboot mode as he went to the course passed. It just kept flashing empty battery symbol.

    Z10 was connected to the wall charger and all the tips/advice you mentioned have been tried. He could not start device.

    Before trying the ADF, to check if battery is dead or defective; I kept it in my brother Z10. The battery was load and after a while, he turn the unit on its own.

    However, the pile of work of Z10 my brother could not initialize my camera. I guessed corrupted software connection or the battery could be a problem.

    I carefully observed battery connection ports, specifically the part that establishes the conncetion of metal tabs of the battery with the unit (given in the image http://www.gsmzone.co.uk/Blackberry-8900-Z10-Battery-Connector).

    I found one of the metal connector stuck / out partially / fits loosely / spring-movement irregulars / and is not able to communicate perfectly with the metal strips of the battery.

    I tried to solve this problem by manually removing the metal connector. After several test, I managed to do it.

    I put my battery in my Z10, he acknowledged, and red LED flashed, name BlackBerry flashed, Blakberry OS Reload icon flashed-has increased 100%, Blackberry 10 name flashed and Z10 began. Device came to operational status.

    Current operating system version is 10.3.2.2836.

    No SIM or media inserted in it.

    Charge the unit and check if all functions work fine.

    Unfortunately, ignoring all warnings with that you should have to be made, you have now activated your device in a developer test device. There is no intended for general purpose OS 10.3.3. 10.3.3 OS out there only are strictly for the application development process, and they are severely constrained in their functionality.     This is not a fault BLackberry, when you send an email to the same address, the e-mail appears in the sent and Inbox on the Z10, it also gets sent to the computer.
