BlackBerry® Z10 problems receiving e-mail on PC at home

I have a Blackberry Z10 and I can send emails to any computer in the world to the best of my knowledge. When I try to send e-mail to the PC at home isn't going not to spend.

The Z10 and the PC have the same email address and when someone sends me an email it appears on the PC and the BBRY.

I talked to Suddenlink, they tell me it is eather a problem BBRY or AT & t. AT & T tells me that this is a problem Suddenlink and support BBRY let's just say that English is not their first language.

Thanks M-G-K

This is not a fault BLackberry, when you send an email to the same address, the e-mail appears in the sent and Inbox on the Z10, it also gets sent to the computer.

  • BlackBerry Z10 problem receiving SMS from some people

I don't receive SMS from my friend and my mother. I live in Central Europe and use Vodafone. My mother and a friend living in England and use Orange. I do not receive their SMS for me, but they receive mine. My wife also has Vodafone, but she receives the text Message from my mother. I get the other England SMS with no problems. Each operator claims the fault must be on the other side, but I don't think that one is to blame, because my wife receives TEXT messages on his phone Samsung with the same operator as I. I think that the problem must be my Z10 BB, but I can't find the question. I read on a forum that I have to do a security sweep, which I did, but it did not help. Anyone know what could be the problem and how can I solve this problem?

    Thank you

Hello and welcome to the community!

Give what you describe coupled with the actions you have already taken, I could deduce that the problem is not your device, but one of the carriers concerned. As such, you would have to persist with them.

However, another way to test would be to put your SIM in another device and see if you can receive SMS messages. If so, then you might want to deepen if your device has a COMPUTER policy on board... If not, it is possible that interferes with this feature. But, if this is the case and that you're on BES, then nothing you can do, but in order to talk to your BES admins. If you are not on BES and this is the case, then you will need to do a reset to ResetToFactory via the LINK.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry Z10 Saving received e-mail messages on POP3

Is that someone who knows how I can keep all messages received from a POP 3 account on the device after their removal on the server?

I would appreciate an answer, because I think it's an important issue for those who want direct access to the emails received, even after their removal on the server.

    Thank you!

    Hello

I don't have any built-in accounts like POP (no need for such a configuration old more), but even before BB10, email POP accounts would reconcile deleted items on the server until the BB (remove from the BB). Via BIS, could be defeated this function... but now there is no more BIS... it's all about the ActiveSync device now, and if you don't see a setting in your account settings for this account which would allow you to control it, then it is not available.

There was a lot of discussion on many issues related to email delivery, retention and capacity ' Delete on '... it is understood here that BB is currently looking into these features and might well apply some of them in future versions of OS. But, when they cannot be firmly served.

For now, you must live within the restriction that the device and the server are intended to be one replica of the other, reconcile any changes made on one of the other.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones automatically receive e-mails - never ceased to function

My BB has ceased to receive emails automatically.   I need to disable the connection and restart to see the "arrows" and receive e-mails.  Very frustrating.  I get emails on my computer and as I say, they stopped coming to my BB automatically on their own.  I'm not a business client - do not have a company server or THIS Department.  I'm on my own.

I have no idea why this is happening. Maybe I've changed or has changed a setting somewhere, but I have no idea and can't find an answer to this anywhere.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Several things could happen... If you have changed the settings in ENCORE? If this isn't the case, then try these things:

    (1) with market, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    (2) registry of the THS:

    • Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > BBKey (it matter little what line is current) > sign up now

    (3) refer the Service directories:

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

If, after 15 minutes or so e-mails still do not come (remember to send yourself a test so there will really be a 'new' email), then delete and re-create the BIS conduit for this e-mail account would be your next step.

  • Outlook Express problem: receiving e-mail on two different computers

I use Outlook Express to send and receive e-mail on two of my computers. Both are connected to the same sever internet account. My laptop is connected to wirlessly modum and my office is connected to the same cable modum. If Outlook Express is open on my laptop, I receive e-mail on it & my office also weither Outlook Express is open on this topic or not. If Outlook Express is open on my desk & not on my laptop, I receive e-mail on it and not on my laptop. Emails received on my desk when Outlook is not open on my laptop never materialize on my laptop. It's as if they are intercepted by the office. Are there settings that I can change on computers? My ISP Internet says it's a matter of Outlook not an internet issue. Can anyone help?

If both computers use the same e-mail address, on both machines:

Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced - Check: leave a copy of messages on the server.

On a single computer only, make sure to delete messages after X days to satisfy your allocated space that you get from your server.

  • BlackBerry Z10 problem creation account Exchange ActiveSync on Z10

    Hi all

I'm trying to set up my e-mail account on a Z10 using Exchange ActiveSync. Setting up the same account on a Samsung Galaxy S3 works perfectly well.

When I use the normal installation procedure, I enter my e-mail address and password and get back this:

Expected, delimiter: line 1 122 (122 char) column

If I pass by "Advanced", the error message is the same, except for the number 194 instead of 122.

The account in question is an Office 365 E3, and I would avoid using BBCS (if it works even with OS 10 devices; there are conflicting reports on the net).

I asked the carrier, I got the phone, and they said they couldn't help because it wasn't their e-mail account. I asked Microsoft and they told me they couldn't help because it was a problem of BlackBerry. I asked BlackBerry, and they have not yet responded.

    Can anyone help?

(By the way, why is there an error message from a JSON reader in the standard library of Python concerned with creating a Exchange account? Because that's when the message comes. Microsoft is not known for their enthusiastic embrace of JSON, they love with XML).

    --

    Christian

Problem solved. I consider the problem with security and limit myself to the waves of suggestions, but since that alone would suffice to guess the problem, why bother?

The error occurred because my password contained double a quotation mark character. Somewhere in the account of the Z10 configuration procedure, something assembles a JSON structure, among other things, the password entered by the user. This password is placed in a quoted string, but the quotes inside it are not escaped. When the structure is passed to the next step, it is not parsed, and the error occurs.

I wonder why I seem to be the first user to have this problem.

TL; Dr: have no quote characters in your password.

  • BlackBerry Z10 problem with reception and to make a call after updating to OS.

I just updated my Z10 STL100-3 model with the new operating system 10.3.2.2168. Now, I can not answer incoming calls. The phone rings, but there is no screen to answer or reject the call. I am also unable to unlock while the phone is ringing. Once the caller hangs up the normal opening if Poster Advisor I missed a call and then allows me to unlock the phone. When you place a call, the screen does not change for me to end the call. In other words, I touch the contact and it will automatically start the numbering, but the screen does not respond or don't change to indicate that the call is made. Then I need to cut the phone to hang up!

Hello and welcome to the community!

Well, assuming that you have waited the usual 48-72 hours, with a lot of reboots (including the battery grips) and this behaviour is new, and the only thing that has changed is the operating system updated... so, the most common thing to do after an update which results in problems is to perform a reload of the OS. Sometimes the update process have errors and others... with a reload often cure the problems.

Official methods, which will be controlled as to what exact OS versions are available:

Unofficial methods, which are cleaner and allow you to choose a version of the OS that maybe your carrier (or anyone they control your offers) delays in approval (unless you're on 10.3.2, in which case 10.3.1 and earlier are now blocked, but you should be able to use any 10.3.2 it's official):

Of course, before you start this, you want a good backup link, a manual copy of the memory of your device to your PC and complete documentation of your configuration (identification information of account, adding applications, configurations, etc.). Sometimes, restoring a backup returns unit corruption even, must be eliminated and reconfiguration from scratch can solve that.

Good luck and let us know!

  • Texting blackBerry Z10 problems

For the last few days I couldn't see when I receive SMS from one of my contacts. I finished the 'cat', which is something I do quite often and he has never been one problem from another. I looked in the settings and nothing is different. Is there a way to fix this?

Locate the longer SMS son of 3-4 (normally 3-4 friends or family with whom you text the most) and remove these SMS threads.

Then do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.

Now, after the reboot, give him a few minutes to resync the data, and then try again.

  • BlackBerry Z10 problems after the software upgrade

After the software upgrade on my z10 I not receive notification for my text, whatsup and other notifications in my hub. Pls help

I would try to reset your Hub first.

Open the Hub and from the upper right corner, with the fingers sliding down to the center of the screen five times.

You will see quick white screen, then a black screen with the text that the hub is set to zero.

If after a day which not resolves your notifications, remove the twitter account of your settings > accounts, restart the BlackBerry, and add the new account.

  • BlackBerry® Smartphones not receiving E-mail

I have a BES 5.0.1 server with only one active user. It received its GroupWise e-mail without problem for years on his phone 9930. He went overseas and continued to get his email, but when he returned, the mail stopped. He get contacts and sent mail, so I know that he is in communication with the server. I tried a security wipe and it re-activated very well but still no incoming mail appears in its post office. Any ideas how to get this working?

    Thank you

    Dan

Apparently, the mailbox folder had moved under a folder in address book who broke the folder redirection. Once I moved the folder of the mailbox back to the root, I could select for the folder redirection and it started working.
