  Hello there, recently got a new Z 10, love it by the way.   Does anyone know how to reduce the image files that you take with the Z10 to attach one or more to an e-mail message.   There is no prompt in the options to reduce the size and the process that notifies you that the files are in the large shipment.  I tried all the visible change icons popping up, but none of them are associated with the reduction of file.

  the picture in the z10 editor does a great job with Cup, effects, sharpness, etc.  but there is no re-size. There are two or three free photo editors in appworld that accomplishes this task for you.

  Hello

  I bought a Z10 in India.  The Maps app shows only the Malaysia and Thailand, even if the phone was bought in India.  All the research in the cards too cause Malaysian locations. Is there a way to download the India card data and configure the application Maps to locate in my current position?  Note the Maps app shows my current position in India currenty but the whole page is empty until I have to zoom out to include the Malaysia and the Thailand which she shows in the cards.  Thanks for your help.

  the India Government has banned the BlackBerry to have maps for the India. You can contact Airtel, they can give you access to a map application that covers the India (I forgot his name).

  I am using Vodafone India. The phone was bought in a store online in Australia.

  My BBz10 is not able to map my location correctly. Nothing happens when I click on the application of the card. A large blue circle comes under the screen. That's all.

  Where as I am able to check-in etc. when using applications such as Facebook.

  What can be wrong?

  Currently the BlackBerry Maps service is not available in India, you can see a list of countries supported here:

  I suggest trying to download a 3rd card application part, you might find something in the BlackBerry world.

  I got a blackberry Z10 (unlocked version) which was defective and he has been replaced by an other Z10 (also unlocked) blackberry. Because the OS versions are different, I can't restore my contacts from the old to the new. BlackBerry has said that this is due to the difference in OS versions. I downloaded the bb world app that import/export of contacts, but can import text or vcf files and not the bbb files.  I downloaded Extractor backup blackberry but was disappointed to see that BB 10 backups are not supported yet. Please I need help with my old transfer contacts from my old bb to my new bb z10 z10. I use a computer hp laptop 8 windows.

  So I guess you never backed up your phone using BlackBerry Protect, or you did.

  If you did, you can install your contacts from there.

  If you do not, think to do for next time.

  You cannot just copy the bar of the file on the device and execute it it must be installed in a way.

  For a customer who you want to give the file bar so that they will have to sideload by using some 3rd third-party tool such as DDPB, Sideloading BB10 or extension chrome for example.

  not quite sure what happened to the title... just went like this while typing of my pb.

  in any case, I switch from classic nokia to z10. I have hundreds of contacts, some of whom many numbers of emails, etc.. There are too many to fit on one sim card and they would also all be shortened to 14 characters.

  However, I can export my contacts into a CSV file nbu GOLD. A way to get this info on my z10 easily?

  Be very useful if there was a FAQ to help users of each of the other brands move with ease to the new blackberry.

  Thanks for the quick response.

  You can remove contacts from Hotmail, once the synchronization is complete, make sure that you disable sync contacts in the account settings.

  It is just a workaround, so you can get all the contacts on the BlackBerry Z10

• Geolocation and blackBerry Z10 Z10 camera

  I've searched high and low... Well, google the topic but does have this nagging question with the pictures that I take with the Z10... the file names are IMG_0000 + seq.number (filename is location + timestamp on BB7) and the properties of the files have no geolocation data.

  My "Geotag photos" is set on you and BB Maps has no trouble finding taking pictue me... even tried while cards holds a lock on me, but the same results... Tried it on my wife Z10 and it's the same - is there a known issue for thiis or I'm unlucky picked up 2 devices that mark my photos?

  Thanks for your reply Peter... I also see EXIF data by displaying the properties of the file from my computer... and I tried so many reboots, battery pulls, affecting to be stored on media ON and OFF without any difference.

  I just tried to remove the 64 GB microSD, started cards to get a lock on the spot and took the photo - poof geotag data are stored... replace the SD card and said yes to store map - more pictures and geolocate data are stored. Yay!

  The data file name, perhaps you have never used this 7.0 and 7.1 - but when you activated geolocate on old BONES, the file name would begin with the name of the location, you were more time stamp. -J' I really appreciate your answers and trying to help me.

  I think something went wonky when I added my media card in the device is first started, and come out and replace it has cleared up also given missing to geotag my wife... I guess that most of the people do not install SD on the first power? Oh, well, all is good now - hope this helps someone!

• BlackBerry Z10 sound profiles does not

  I am using BlackBerry Z10 for the last 4 weeks and BlackBerry for 3 years, and so far all very well, with this new phone until yesterday. I was using the phone normally when all of a sudden, he stops himself and since it restarts itself I can't change my notification profiles, it is stuck on the silence, my LED doesn't flash when I get texts, it is impossible.   (1) while playing music:
  (2) open the back cover,
  3) press the buzzer of connection on the back (just below the location of the battery). Even now, I managed to apply pressure to the power supply without removing the lid, while playing music. It works!
  (4) fixed!

  In fact, I had my replaced BlackBerry until I knew the Solution. Not even the carriers know this solution! Thank you BlackBerry to another question on the flagship model. Disappointed. .. .and this from a massive loyal BlackBerry user... and creating this forum account to be able to help other users, pain!

  Watch list prior to the incident:

  -my phone needs to be rebooted now and then because the phone has no reception Internet... all I get is this small h but when I restart it, it goes back to the 3G...

  -During the loading of my phone, if I acsidentaly loosen the usb microphone connected to my phone. my phone is just dies without warning, as it comes to fade and other things... I only wait a few minutes for her to turn its own

  -my phone started to disable its own (not during loading) only at random even the phone is idle I'll just fint it restarts on its own... and while I use the phone it just restarts...

  -my phone started having a flashing model for the Red led lights up when he died... the rate is 4 seconds blinks... the phone would turn not...

  -my phone turned on automatically... I noticed that the battery is only 20 percent when he died it was more than 50%

  -When I tied my phone it just turned off on its own...

  -the phone is now have a constant lit red light led... the phone will not turn on

  -i out the battery... Remove SIM... remove the sd card and pop while... no joy

  -After removing the bss (battery, sim card and sd card), the phone has lost its constant red led clear status and is now dead

  Observations after incident

  -i tried removing the battery and popping in... no joy...

  left-i it doesn't charge for at least 7 hours... no joy

  -i left without the battery for 4 hours... no joy

  -the phone connected to my pc for 4 hours left... the red light continues returned...

  d ' irritation if took out the battery and sent... the phone has lost its status as a continuous red light...

  You will get a number of recommendation, but here's the first, and in my humble OPINION the best.  Playcoud (available in the world of the BB).  Playcloud takes in charge Google Drive, box, Dropbox, OneDrive (formerly SkyDrive) and many more services.  If you have activated the Remote File Access in BB link, you can also access your desktop through her files. It also acts as a file manager for your card device and mSD.
