BlackBerry Z10 z10 usb keeps diconnecting after faulty security wipe

Hello

I just tried a security wipe and got the icon "connect the phone to the computer" when starting. In fact, the phone is blocked here. My phone usb cable everything worked fine earlier today, but now it just keeps disconnecting after 1 or 2 seconds. I have already installed the BB link and it does not recognize my phone but I can't reload, because it keeps disconnecting. Any suggestions on what I should do? Will be a great help, thank you.

Here is the official solution for a deletion of security failed:

If you do not link to recognize the device then I would try to load the operating system manually:

Download the correct autoloader for your device from the first post in the thread below. You need to know your complete model number (e.g. STL100-1 (or - 2,-3, - 4) located in settings > on.) Be sure to download your model which contains the radio file.

10.2.1.1925 OS: http://forums.crackberry.com/bb10-leaked-beta-os-f395/lengend-presents-10-2-1-1925-all-q-z-887047/

Close the link and leave the connected device.

You will need to unzip the file downloaded from above before you can run.  If you do not have a decompression application on your computer, you can download 7Zip here: http://www.7-zip.org/download.html

Double-click the automatic charger that you downloaded.

The process should take about 5 minutes or more. When it's done, you will need complete the startup process before you can connect to Link, and restore the data.

When you are finished, you can restore your backup, although I do NOT recommend restore your backup of the settings that it is best to start with this new OS, but it is up to you. You may experience some bugs here and there to restore the passage of the backup settings. Media and Application data seem to be OK to restore.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones has someone else has met the 9900's compass disappear after a security Wipe?

A few days ago, I decided to do a cleaning of security on my 9900, so that I can restart from scratch and troubleshoot problem a few apps. I have discussed this at the time that Rogers (my provider) support, and they told me of all the possible consequences.

Since that time, my Compass app (the one provided with the 9900, out of the box) has disappeared.

Rogers seems to know none of it and wash their hands of it. I was told that I could take with RIM, which will charge me $ for a case resolution. RIM also told me that I can take with Rogers and ask them to take it with RIM, but Rogers tech support says that this is beyond their reach, and they will not do that. Climbing with a Rogers tech support managers has not solved the problem.

So, does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thank you!

    PROBLEM SOLVED.

    HERE'S HOW:

I had to tinker myself, but I learned a few things that were not obvious for me: Security wipe and Clean Reload are NOT (on the 9900, at least) the same thing! Security Wipe erases all memory, and then reinstalls the operating system, * but not everything is reinstalled! * In my case, it wipe out compass and possibly other things that I had not even noticed.

Regarding the Clean Reload, I thought if I didn't choose the "Make Backup" option, he would do what I expected with security Wipe, less real SURE wiping from memory. But it does not all of this. For example, I noticed that after clean Reload, there are still a few apps I had installed on my own, as well as compass in return.

    HERE'S THE FINAL SCOOP:

What I did, to my 'out of the box' experience: I did the security wipe, followed by the own of the charging, with no backup. Compass was back.

    LS,

3 weeks ago my Z10 got the SW version 10.3.2.2474 update / OS 10.3.2.2639. After this update several applications work more (e.g., Whatsapp). In addition, in the menu settings just few of the submenus can be openen. In addition, I can't change the sound/LED; It's only permanently silent mode.

Has anyone experience similar, but more importantly, does anyone have a solution?

    No, no.

Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with the BlackBerry powered Smartphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.

Do not press the top button and the power first.

  • BlackBerry Z10 STL100 10 - 1 AFTER the 10.2.0.242 of the ISSUE of the RANDOM STOP

After 10.2.0.242 my phone gets stop randomly and does not start. I have to connect it to the charger and it is started after 15-20 minutes. the question is random stop, as in any application, any time, it will stop and take the time to start. Is there any fix for this that it is my first camera for my work.

I can suggest many things, but everything will be ' a shot in the dark "without this test result, and buy a new battery is not the best way to conduct this test (such as the States of my post).

So, you might try instead a recharge of OS, since the problem started when you tried this before. I suggest you:

    1. Full backup (see the link in my sig auto, but that applies to the inheritance, but the idea is the same, especially on the manual list of things)
    2. WIPE
    3. OS Reload link
    4. WIPE
    5. Initial configuration
    6. See if the problem, if not then go ahead... If it, then return to step 2, but instead LINK in step 3, find an autoloader to reload the OS (other versions of the operating system are also available through automatic charger
    7. Begin to return your applications and configurations, one at a time, slowly to determine whether one is perhaps the cause
    8. Restore from your backup

If the problem clears up with that, it was something that was wrong during the OS update, you did. If you need to return to automatic charger or other versions, the version of the OS you are using is corrupted somehow. If the problem comes back after you restore, then something in your backup is the cause, and you will have to redo do everything but not the restoration.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Z10 error in file after 10.3.1.1565 Update Manager

Since the last update, I always get the error message in the file on the Media Library Manager is unavailable please try again later or try restarting your device.

Due to the number of problems with "redevelopment" at this level of the OS, I suggest you try reload OS automatic charger clean and very energetic:

Beware that it is completely destructive... the device will be 'as new'... None given, no apps, no accounts, etc. Remember you first take a full backup, as well as make full manual documentation of applications, accounts, configurations, etc. Sometimes a restore reintroduced corruption even sought to eliminate, and manual reconfiguration is required.

You can also use it to return to a BONE earlier if you want... you can install any level of the operating system for which you can find an auto-loader. (Hint... search the site of CB!)

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Will I send after a security wipe?

    Hello

Because you bought your device on Ebay, it is advisable to wipe your device and also remove all installed third-party applications because they can contain data of the previous user. After the device is erased unit restores the factory settings and you can set up your email accounts and all the rest as a new device.

    Hi Ginodesoomer,

    Welcome to the support community!

Looks like you have security enabled on your SIM card. You can disable this option to avoid to be invited for the PIN. Please see this article for more information. "" Enter PIN"is displayed when the BlackBerry smartphone is locked" KB18647

You can disable this on your BlackBerry Z10 smartphone in settings > privacy and security > SIM card > SIM Lock card PIN.

Please let me know if that helps.

  • BlackBerry Z10 Z10 will not display text messages, cannot receive

I did a cleanup of security yesterday because my contacts were a complete mess, numbers have been associated with incorrectly, and I have no idea how this happened.

After the security wipe, and when I highlight, and then click SMS, the hub of Blackberry only displays the telephone numbers of the numbers that I sent a text when I click on the message, I see the number plus a gray screen.

No need to do a security wipe because it only deletes all data from the phone and put it in a 'default' State You should try to do a reload of the operating system using the BB link. If you don't want to lose your contacts or settings. Make a backup of everything before reloading. The instructions are as follows:

Open the BlackBerry link and connect your device via microUSB
    Select settings (gear icon)
Select reload under Reload Device Software
Follow the on-screen instructions to reload the software. When you are finished, you can disconnect your device.
