Blank CD and DVD - Rs opportunity

I have a big pile of blank CDs that I have no real use for, I find so much of Radio Internet Stations that combined also play a variety of music that I love. Is it possible to use them as DVD? Is it possible to re - use DVD-r? Is it possible to use the Stations of Live Radio as sound video with Windows Live Movie Maker?

====================================
(Q) is it possible to use (CDs) as DVD?

(A) If you ask if a CD can be used to create
a video disc... the answer is Yes. With the right
software you can create a VCD which should play
in most free-standing DVD players.

I have no personal experience with the following
freeware, but it is an example that allows you to create a
VCD. A Google search can find more options.

(Q) is it possible to re - use DVD-r?

(A) unfortunately not. But... you can reuse
a DVD - RW.

(Q) is it possible to use the over-the-air Radio Stations like
Video of her with Windows Live Movie Maker?

(A) Oui, there are software apps that can record
Audio because it plays the free Audacity software may
be worth a try. Once you have your saved recording
in a folder on your hard disk, you can import it into
Movie Maker.

  • DVD RW drive (e) does not recognize blank CD, music CDs and DVDs

It has just started the other day, I first tried to download a cd purchased in my library.  Windows Media Player telling me I need to insert a disk.  Then I tried to use a DVD and a blank CD - R disc and the same result.  I tried to update my driver and using microsoft support "your CD or DVD drive cannot read or write media.  again, this does not solve my problem.  Looks like he's trying to read the disc, but never does.  Please give me some advice on how to solve this problem.  Thank you

    Hello

Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as is often total
a process that solves the problem.

Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double click on the device - driver tab.
Click on update drivers (this will probably do nothing) - RIGHT click ON the drive - uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue
    below.

Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward
cable or slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

Another possibility is that the cables are loose. Remove ALL power, then make sure that the cables in both
ends. Remove and replace, do not just tight. For laptops, you can often clean power and
contacts data with a pencil eraser.

Some DVD players do not use the Windows default drivers so check with the manufacturer of system and
manufacturer of device to see if there is a firmware or drivers for your drive if necessary.

    ===============================

Step 2: You have disc problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD
Burn and CD and DVD read). So it is not unusual for 1 or 2 operational so that other parts
    do it right.

    Hello

Well, based on your description it sounds like the drive cannot calibrate the lens and, therefore, it of not possible to read or write to these media.
Usual it of not possible to fix this and the replacement drive is necessary.

You can also consult the user manual. You will find a list with all supported and compatible media.

  • refox will not download on my computer and Ideleted version I've had (so I can't do a reset). All I get is a blank screen and an error message saying something

I was erase my browser history and when I arrived at time interval, I went into everything. When I tried to go back to Firefox, I got, it's a blank page and an hourglass. I deleted the program so I could reload a new version. When I try to do it I get this white page and an error message that says "plugin container.exe has encountered an error and needs to close." That's all. No matter what I do, I can not download a new Mozilla.

A huge history of compensation could freeze the browser for a minute or three. If Firefox closed abnormally while he was cleaning up the database that stores the history (and bookmarks), it may be damaged. I hope that this will not be a problem for you.

First of all, you can download a complete installer from the following page (scroll to the bottom for your language):

    https://www.Mozilla.org/Firefox/all/

You should be able to do it in any browser, so if Firefox does not work properly, try using IE.

You can then run the installation program to update Firefox.

Second, after a crash, Firefox will try to restore your previous session windows and tabs. This could be properly where a plugin is not put into service and generates error on plugin - container.exe. If you are willing to lose your last open windows and tabs, you can start Firefox up to a blank page. Here's how:

Type or paste the following text in the search box of the start menu and press ENTER to run it:

    firefox.exe "about:blank"

Does it work? If Firefox is stable, you can try to recover the session previous windows and tabs by using either:

    • Menu > history > restore previous Session
    • type or paste about: sessionrestore in the address bar and press enter

    Any improvement to date?

    Hello

Disks: I don't think so. I always keep 25 floppy disks for Windows 95, should be a few thousand disks for Windows 10. Very, very, very expensive to store files and transport.

Of DVD: would soon come out, new machines will have 10 Windows (who knows) pre-installed or downloaded. You can always find Windows 10 DVD in some countries where users will still have to use dial-up Modem.

I recently had a problem with Windows on my laptop Toshiba Satellite P20. I ended up having to use the recovery disk Toshiba that came with the laptop and slowly started to do things to normal. However, I wanted to put in place the mechanism that would allow me to copy my CDs and DVDs.

I must have done this in the past when I bought the laptop 2 years ago but can't put in place now. If the laptop is equipped with a CD/DVD burner would be they delivered software as well? I can't find on all disks that came with the laptop or should I assume that I have installed the software separately from my own camera. I don't remember what it was called.

I assume you are using Windows XP Home version.
The windows OS supports a CD handwriting option but not a DVD.

I use the application to 3rd party like Nero. For me it's one of the best burning programs. You can burn various CD and DVD. Everything is possible (audio, video or data)
