I was wondering how do an empty field to occupy little space. Say I want to another field to 50 pixels down from the top. I need a field to 50 pixels at the top who do nothing. Basically, I need a field that I can set a size (both vertical and horizontal). All the basic fields have this ability, or do I have to write a custom?

Computer takes some time to connect to the internet after sleeping

Hi, I expect to ask for help with this. When my computer wakes sleeping internet connection takes some time to connect. It's not terribly long (takes like 30 seconds or more) but it is noticeable and annoying. Before when the computer was asleep you might wake only, click Windows Live mail and he would begin to receive messages. You certainly can't avoid it! Each browser uses its own text engine and makes the fonts in its own way. You can only anticipate this behavior and choose your text blocks and policies accordingly. This, incidentally, causes me never (!) use justified text on the web, as you well obviously.

Yes, you can create your workflow where you can keep all your images on the external hard drive and the Lightroom catalog file as well.

If you start with Lightroom and then use the Destination location as external hard drive when you import your image of the external source such as a camera or SD.

If you already have your Images on the Mac HD drive, then play all your Image on the external hard drive first and then import images directly from there.

Finally, you can change the location of the Lightroom Catalog as well.

Default location: folder on the Mac Drive HD, there is folder called Lightroom that you can move on the external drive too (however catalog Lightroom can't memory space as its only import previews of the images is not the real image and full)

Once you move the file catalog Lightroom external hard disk, then you need to browse the catalog file when you launch Lightroom only once.

Where your LR catalog? If it is on your C drive, additional space only on C should be for the information added to the catalog and previews, which must be low, unless you generate 1:1 previews, which can be larger and take more space.
