Block of authorization which connects to two different DB

Hello

Is there a way we can run a SQL on variable initialization block that connects to both databases?

For example, we have user_groups table base1 and base2, we can manage a union on the two databases? (with the help of the same init block or two)

Abdjallil

This should be the fix side db, don't think anything on the side bi.

Try to go with the kind of link db and then create a view to point the two table and then use this view in init block with a pool of conn

Now, I would like to see if I can create a pool of connections to two different databases. If so, how that happen.

    Thank you!

    Hi Antonio,.

Cross database joins are possible, no problem for it. But you do not do so in an object of unique data base in the physical layer using 2 pools of connections connection to the source A and B, then adding objects to A and B children of your unique database.

You create 2 databases in the physical layer, each with its own connection pool, then you can do your knuckles crossed on the physical schema.

As a picture is worth a thousand words, take a look:

The physical diagram uses objects of A and B and define the rules of the join between them, it is a cross-database join. But in the physical layer of the database A and B are 2 separate objects each with its own pool of connections.

Original title: Windows 7 PRO through internet Remote Desktop connection.

    A modem connection cable Roadrunner

The customer has upgraded to pro. Computers aren't workgroup and domain just PC. What would be the best way to have to allow them to connect to the router. I tried the port on the router, nothing helps.

    Hello

Remote Desktop connection uses port 3389 in order to listen to the incoming connection.

When done over the Internet, you will need to forward the port to the IP of the computer.

Alas, a router can send a specific port only to a single computer.

Since you have two computers, you must change the listening port for one of them to a different port number and transfer the new port to the IP Address of the computer.

Let a computer uses the default port 3389.

In the second computer, change the port to another port of your choice, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306759/en-us

Assign static IP to the computers (make sure that it is in the DHCP range).

In the router open port 3389 to the IP address of the computer with the default setting.

Open port you used for the second computer to its IP address.

When you connect, if the connection is a connection by default, he would go to a single computer. When the connection is made with on the second track, he would go to the second computer.

  • AnyConnect Client - connect to two different ASA virtual private networks at the same time?

If I am already connected to a remote access using Anyconnect VPN, is it possible to connect to another on a different ASA?

The option to connect is grayed out until I disconnect one. I don't see any way to launch another Anyconnect session!

I can connect to one successfully by themselves.

Neither one is "all traffic" tunneling, just a couple secure hosts for each of them.

    Thank you!

I think that you can only connect to a VPN at the same time. So unfortunately not possible.

  • connectivity between 5508 and two different 4507 switches

    Hello

I've implemented with 5508 controller which is connected to two different chassis (Cisco 4507 switches). I have some doubt about the configuration of the interface on 5508 WLC.

How can I configure the AP Manager interface with two physical ports on different chassis?

If I have understood correctly, we can configure the AP manager interface with a single port

In my introduction, we configured HSRP chassis mentioned...

Please light up on this confused concept.

How can I configure interfaces with two physical ports on two different chassis?

If someone could send examples of configuration, it would be very useful for me to procees with.

Already there are request to that effect in the cisco forum, but I did not understand correctly.

    Response would be appreciated.

    Hello

I advise you to go through the doc:

    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/wireless/controller/7.0/configuration/guide/c70mint.html.

For Cisco 5500 series controllers, you are not required to configure an interface AP manager. The management interface is as an AP-Manager interface by default, and access points can join this interface.

  • The use of two different NICs on the RT?

Hello world... I am currently working on a project where I have to deal with the problem mentioned in the thread topic: I have a PC with LabVIEW RT which must be able to establish network connections using two different network cards. One will be used to connect via TCP/IP to a host computer that will show you the data transmitted through variables shared; the other communicates with another PC via the Modbus Protocol. The key is that each communication is done through a separate network card.

So far I could not understand how to set up these two things happen. Does anyone know how to do this? Advice will help you.

For communication of RT, I use a project of RT standard, with the RT PC, given one of the IPs, and for the part of Modbus, I created a server I/O with a master and a slave. Separately, everything works fine, but when I get them together it does not work.

    Thanks for your help!

Sorry it took me so long to answer, I've been busy lately... I found a solution to this problem that I mentioned, and just in case anyone has similar problems in the future, I will briefly describe what happened.

Caseyw suggested, he had to allow both NICs through the measurement and Automation Explorer. The cause of the failure of connections was in fact that I was not using the 'right' for Modbus communication, which was rolled out on the secondary card. The solution was to use the URL Protocol with the correct path in the field, addressing the right IP address. To avoid making this post a mixture of subjects, I do more futher, but I got the gist of it, so if someone has similar problems when I work with multiple network cards or Modbus communication protocols, do not hesitate to contact me, I'll be happy to help you.

    Thank you

  • A VCS - C with two clients of course to the two different VCS - E (traversal servers)

    Hello

Can I have a WHAT VCS - C connected to two different VCS-E?

So, I will configure two 'route customers' VCS - C each pointing to VCS - E, and each VCS-E will have a 'crossing server' set up.

    Hello Jose,.

Yes, it is possible, you can have several customer experience (and also servers traversal) on each VCS.

Jens: there is an abundance of deployments where this would be wise. A cluster can have meaning where you need a logic of instance, which is be of multiple physical boxes.

We have customers who need an environment safe, so that they have a VCS - E for outbound communications, generic endpoints and then VCS-control a VCS-E for another network to terminate VPN connections internal who couldn't talk directly inside.

There was one other poster here recently where a company had a VCS - E + C Setup, the other

C only, so that they could use a VCS-E talk to each other.

But even in the same network where you want to cluster, but you cannot due to

various geolocations with much delay between the sites...

    And so now ;-)

  • A target table is in charge of two different sources but the same columns, but a source is one database and another in a flat file.

We all hope you are doing well.

I have a business problem to implement in ODI 11 G. It's here. I'm trying to load a target table from two sources that have the same column names. But a source is to the file format and the other is in the Oracle database.

That's what I think I'll create two mappings in the same interface by using the Union between the sources. But I don't know how the interface would connect to different logical architecture to connect to two different sources.

    Thank you

    SM

You are on the right track, all in a single interface. Follow these steps

    (1) pull model of your data in the designer of the source file and your table model target to the target pane.

    (2) all relevant columns map

    (3) in the source designer to create a new dataset and choose as the UNION join type (this will create a separate tab in the source designer pane)

    (4) select the new dataset tab in the source designer pane and pull your source oracle table data model in the designer of the source. All columns that are relevant to the target card

    (5) make sure that your staging location is set to a relational technology i.e. in this case the target would be an ideal candidate because it is where the ODI will organize the data from source two files and oracle and perform the UNION before loading to the target

If you want to watch some pretty screenshots showing the steps above, take a look at http://odiexperts.com/11g-oracle-data-integrator-part-611g-union-minus-intersect/

How to connect Apple TV to two different amplifiers?

If you're talking about AppleTV 4 then there a single HDMI output only.

You need either a HDMI switch or a divisor of direct HDMI to different amps (may not work at the same time due to HDCP) or see if an amp offers HDMI or optical output to the other depending on whether or not you want to distribute audio or video to the 2 amp.

If you need a splitter/switch, it's an extra box and you might consider only 2 AppleTV, don't forget a rental on one will not be seen on the other.
