  I read about the Dark Art of SEO, and frankly, that a large part of it is more confused than I expected.  In any case, I will summarize here. I read that:

  The file/folder names are better with words and hyphenated words.  then DCM000123.jpg in a folder named galimg would be better as: /gallery-images/painting-title-here.jpg

  ALT = "" text can add to the content of your pages. "

  My thought on this door on a site of the Gallery I built with about 200 individual paintings in it.  So, the site has a lot of content but not a lot of text.  I wonder if I should start trawling through it all, to change the names of files and folders and add alt = "" text more usefully help with SEO? "

  So if my thinking is OK, here are the questions.

  How would you put the alt = "" text on individual images? "  I guess that it should simply be a direct description, this who-you see?  But there are a few other options.  Suppose I have an image that the artist titled, 'Cattle on a Hill', and it is an oil on canvas.  I could do that

  ALT = "" oil on canvas: cattle on a hill "or"

  ALT = "Cattle on a hill" or

  ALT = "a group of cows grazing in pastures under the light of the moon." or

  Suppose that I have 20 images in a gallery of portraits:

  ALT = "Portrait.  "Oil on canvas: Joe Bloggs ' or

  ALT = "Portrait.  Joe Bloggs' or

  ALT = "Man with the gray hair, wearing a blue shirt, sitting on a bench" or

  ALT = "Portrait painting.  Oil on canvas. "Joe Bloggs: wearing a blue shirt, gray-haired man, sitting on a bench.

  The second part of the question also includes the problem that if I have 20 images in a single gallery page and I put 'Painting of Portrait' in every alt = "" text is that it will look like keyword stuffing? "

  Now on the thing of file name.  File names are portrait-painting-01 and so on or does it cattle - on the slopes or what?

  Last question: I do too much of this?

• Impossible to download tools of SEO like Page Rank etc on ipad

  Sorry for the problem, but it's an extension that works for the Office of Firefox. I was able successfully to run it on the desktop for Firefox.

• Can't post pictures on blogger with firefox more

  Since I updated to Firefox 29,0,1 OSX 10,8.5 I can't use Firefox to post pictures on Blogger (blogspot) more. Buttons to select the images to upload pictures on Blogger, but they never show in positions. I solved the problem using Safari... but I'd love to go back to using Firefox.

• Drupal 7 and blogger do not work correctly on Firefox but on IE; the problems are quite specific; new problem.

  New problems on Drupal 7 and blogger who agree on IE. In Blogger, if I try to reply to a comment, I get a new window into the comments box that contains a new iteration of my Blogger template that I can't use. In Drupal 7, there are at least two modules that do not work correctly: the CKEditor GUI does not work and the filter of the Module does not work correctly. There is no error message, and the two modules work fine on IE and Chrome.
  There is nothing on the web that suggests or either of these Web sites is to have this kind of problems.

  Thank you for your question, I understand that this is happening on two sites. If this is not the case on other people's computers please try a restart of Firefox.
  The reset Firefox feature can solve a lot of problems in restaurant Firefox to its factory default condition while saving your vital information.
  
  Note: This will make you lose all the Extensions and preferences.

  • Sites Web open is not recorded in less than 25 versions of Firefox.

  To reset Firefox, perform the following steps:

  For Firefox versions prior to 29,0:

  1. Go to Firefox > help > troubleshooting information.
  2. Click on the "Reset Firefox" line

     

     button.

  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is finished, it will display a window with the imported information. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox opens with all the default settings applied.

  For Firefox 29,0 and above:

  1. Click the menu button

     

     click Help

     

     and select troubleshooting information. Now, should open a new tab containing your troubleshooting information.

  2. At the top right of the page, you should see a button that says "Reset Firefox"

     

     . Click on it.

  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is finished, it will display a window with the imported information. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox opens with all the default settings applied.

• 10.11.5 OSX creates problem safari @ blogger

  Since the recent update OSX 10.11.5, I am unable to use Safari 9.1.1 to create or modify messages on my blog on Blogger. The cursor does not appear or there is a lag in time when you use controls - small issues that nevertheless make the impossible experience blogging. However, if I use Chrome, I have no problem whatsoever. I do understand that Blogger and chromium are products of Google, but Safari is my default browser and these problems are new for me since the recent update of the OSX software. I just think that Apple should know.

  Apple is not regularly monitor the discussions. These are mostly a user in discussions.

  Send feedback to Apple. They will not respond, but at least know that there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it can become the problem solved as soon as possible.

  Oooops, sorry, I missed something. I use the NoScript extension and when I was activating/deactivating scripts on your page, I disabled the codecogs.comlatex script. When I activate this script, he interrupts the Blogger widgets.

  Latex script runs through different parts of the document replace the contents of the elements with innerHTML. When a script attributes even content in innerHTML, it destroyed some types of event handlers, so I think it's why widgets stop working. Unless you can find a way to make the blogger script executed AFTER the script of latex, then you probably need to find or write a less destructive latex script.

• Need to identify the particular SEO plugin

  Just had my PC upgraded to Windows 7 and lost all my Firefox plugins. I had a particular SEO plugin that would show changes in the ranking for each URL in the Google search results (as a + XX, XX - or a disc orange if no change).

  Does anyone know which plugin it was? I depended on it and can find it is no longer.

  Don't worry about this issue. The answer, for someone else who wants it, is actually a plugin called SERPTrends Chrome.

  The husband and I do a weekly (generally :-) Google's Blogger blog on my iMac or a MacBook Pro.)

  We have iPads and were frustrated that we cannot publish on our iPads when we travel but do drags the laptop along.

  Thanks to the improvements on the new iPad, if this ability has increased, we would be ready to bite the bullet and shell on the $$$...

• Firefox 3.6.8 struggled to view the blogger site

  I hope someone can help. I run a website that I use blogger to update. Before I upgraded firefox 3.6.8 site went well. Now it's a mess. The text is scrunched up path to the left of each section as well as links, which are supposed to have custom colors are all set up the generic, boring blue (who now blends in the header bar so that you can not read). I still have Firefox 3.5.11 on my other machine and the site looks very good. It seems as well on the latest IE and Chrome. Is there a fix coding I can add to the blogger template to solve all these problems? Or Firefox brings a fix for this problem? I'm worried about all my website visitors who have the updated version of firefox having problems viewing my site.

  That said, some of your style rules are ignored. If you check the Console error in Firefox (Tools menu) - for best results, click the clear button and then reload your page - you can see there is a problem with this rule (note the asymmetrical quotes):

  If you work your way through the warnings in the console, I hope you can fix it.
