blue screen 0x000000D1 IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
original title: blue screen of death before and after the installation restore new hd and use of records
I am very frustrated. A few weeks ago my hp does not start and the test of the system said that my hard drive could not be detected. I just bought a new hard drive and I can't make it work either. I used came with my pc system restore disks to install the OS (vista home premium-64 bit). It seemed he would work but when it restarted, I got a blue screen that says
Technical info DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL * stop: 0x000000D1 (0x00000000000001D4, 0 x...)
nvstor64.sys address fffffa60013of376 base at fffffa6001303000, datestamp488516d2
I was able to figre out that pilots are not correct and I think that's happened since an automatic update of windows. I don't know what to do about it or how to get and install the right drivers for my computer working again.
Any help will be appreciated! Also, I know just enough about computers to be dangerous! So if you can explain it in a simple way, I would appreciate it.
nvstor64.sys address fffffa60013of376 base at fffffa6001303000, datestamp488516d2
In this case, update your nVIDIA nForce driver.

BLUE SCREEN: 0X000000D1, w70n51.sys
Hello
I have an ASUS (5 years old) with a Windows XP. Over the few days while the computer was working that it would block completely and a BLUE SCREEN appears.
I used the recovery provided by AUSUS CD to reset the systems at the factory level. However, although I am Re installing Windows XP Professional I get the following error message:
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
STOP: 0X000000D1 (0X030203C5, 0X00000002, 0X00000000, 0XEF980000)
w70n51.sys - address EF980000 base at EF97c000, dateStamp 3ee71b51.
Therefore, I'm unable to even start my PC as Windows is not installed!
What should I do?
Thanks in advance for your support
lol remove the PCI card, install Windows, install all updates and then install the latest drivers, shut down the PC, reinsert the card and start your Windows. Windows now installs the latest drivers, which I hope it does not cause the issue. "A programmer is just a tool that converts the caffeine in code" Deputy CLIP - http://www.winvistaside.de/

Hello
Yesterday, my measure PC worked fine. To market today, about twenty seconds after startup, I got a blue screen (seen below) and get that since then. However, I am able to run very well Safe Mode. I read on the installation of a patch and installed, but may not run in Mode without failure, and I don't have enough time to run it in normal mode until I get the blue screen again, which is very frustrating. If someone could get back to me soon on how to address this problem, it would be much appreciated.
Thank you!
-Ben
Hi Ben,
Thank you for the update.
You can refer to the suggestions provided by Marilyn O replied on October 1, 2012 which can help you create a repair disk.
I hope this helps.

Check with your manufacturer for newer drivers video card (special forces), known issues and
other possible problems - check also the video card and game maker forums. It can even be
a problem created by the interaction of two pilots (rather than the usual cause), perhaps the
video driver and a swap file error and other causes work together to create the problem.==============================================================

Cause
A driver tried to access a pageable (or that is completely invalid) address while the IRQL was too high.
This bug check is usually caused by drivers who used a wrong address.
If the first parameter has the same value as the fourth parameter, and the third parameter indicates a runtime operation, this bug check was probably caused by a driver who was trying to run code when the code itself has been paginated outside. The possible causes for the error page are:
- The function was marked as pageable and was operating at an IRQL higher (including obtaining a lock).
- The function call was made to a function in another pilot, and that this driver has been unloaded.
- The function was called by using a function pointer that was an invalid pointer.

Hello ginger957,
ATAPI.sys is the driver file for the drivers of storage system. It may be the hard disk that fails to give the stop errors. If you try another hard drive or upgrade the hard drive on another computer which results do you see?

Original title: XP questions
I am running WIndows XP Pro SP3 on a Dell Optiplex gx270s and get several error messages stop "Blue screen" intermittent and different at startup (for protect my computer). Prompt notification Windows found problems with the file system and run CHKDSK/F. I am unable to do so as I can not find my administrator password (also necessary if you plan to run from my XP installation disc). Windows Fix - It Center, running 'Folder & troubleshooting' reports icons randomly change the icons but no resolves not. I didn't notice the icons change and do not if this is related to Stop what error messages at startup, I've been doing. Running a disk check during start-up and Diagnostics IDE are not problems. It lasts for quite awhile and I've delayed just deal with it because it is not always the case. A lot of program installs / uninstalls and Microsoft Updates since its start if the system restore wouldn't do me any good. Before reinstalling the operating system, what are my options? Is there a way to reset my ' Administor password ", or better yet does not require one, (it is a personal computer for personal use only and I don't remember why a password has been assigned)?
Here are some of the error messages:

OS: Vista Edition Home Premium 64-bit
System has been great from the GET go, there are more than 2 weeks. Never a failure to the no boot, no lock ups etc. Woke up in the middle of the night last week with cmptr attempt to restart. No new software or hardware installed had been. Nothing worked, quiet dampened.
From there on, I was not able to start Windows.
I entered the BIOS and tried to start a well known point... nothing. Always get blue screen. I have reset the CMOS on the mobo, removed the battery on the mobo and reinstalled. I unplugged the two hard drives power and SATA cables, bought a NEW (third) HD and installed, with only one new HD connected, with a full version of Windows Vista DVD in the CD/DVD drive, tried to boot Windows from scratch... still get the blue screen?
Blue screen says:
A problem has been detected and Windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

I was able to run the memory test and it came back without errors. I was not able to get to "repair your computer", as the beginning is never far away. When the computer reboots, it comes to the sequence: normal mobo beeps (five) than even that when the system was working fine... then I get the graph of the mobo splash screen EVGA P55 SLI,... then black screen with "Windows loading files"... which appears just above the loading bar (it looks like gage fuel fill from left to right).
Once the bar then "fills" Blue Screen of Death!
It's EXTREMELY frustrating because it was built for me by an employee of INTEL (very smart read), all latest drivers etc. Very little software loaded on the system. Most of the aid that I read guess you can operate within Windows already... Catch 22! I can't!

This bug check is issued if the memory paged (or invalid) is accessible when the IRQL is too high.
The error that usually generates this bug check occurs after the installation of the faulty device driver or service system, BIOS.
If you encounter a bug 0xA control during the upgrade to a later version of Windows, this error can be caused by a device driver, system service, an anti-virus or a backup tool that is not compatible with the new version.

To resolve an error caused by an incompatible device driver, system service, virus scanner, or backup tool
- Check the system log in Event Viewer for error messages that may identify the device or driver that caused the error.
- Try disabling the cache in memory of the BIOS.
- Run the diagnostics of equipment provided by the manufacturer of the system, in particular the scanner memory. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.
- Make sure that the latest Service Pack is installed.
- If your system has cards (SCSI) small computer system interface, contact the card manufacturer for updated Windows drivers. Try to disable sync negotiation in the SCSI BIOS, check the wiring and the SCSI ID of each device and confirming the proper termination.
- For devices (IDE) peripheral electronic integrated, set the built-in as only primary IDE port. Also, check each IDE device to the right setting master/slave/stand alone. Try to remove all IDE devices except for the hard drives.
If the message appears during installation of Windows, make sure that the computer and installed devices are listed in the list of the products tested Microsoft Windows market.

The computer loads up to the icon and the theme of windows crashes and enters the blue screen where the 2 following messages (alternating) can be read:
PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON-PAGED_AREA
or

Both have the code:

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can get into safe mode? If you can, we need, in order to solve problems that might cause your system to block the dump files.
In an ideal situation, several files would be necessary to establish a model so if you have more than one, please download them.
Please refer to the link below to get the procedure recover, zip and upload them to the site as onedrive, file sharing google "dropbox, etc.".
When you are finished, make public the folder and share the link here.
