Blue screen in Windows 8. Driver IRQL keeps restarting the laptop not less than or equal

Separated from this thread.

Hello

I have the same problem and probably, I know the reason. I have a laptop Asus UX21E (win pro 8.1). the Wi - Fi network that I use is far from my workplace. my laptop can receive the signal very well, but my laptop can not. I tried to use my laptop as a router for internet access on my cell phone so I followed an instruction to make a new virtual network on my laptop. the statement was like these steps:

step 1: open cmd as administrator.

step 2: copy this command and press ENTER: netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode = allow ssid =something key =a number

step 3: copy this command and press ENTER: netsh wlan start hostednetwork

step 4: network share physical adapter Internet access to the new virtual network (under the properties and the sharing tab)

It works very well, but after that this error has occurred several times.

Thanks in advance

    Kaspersky is a common cause of BSOD.

    I remove and replace it with Microsoft Security Essentials if you use vista or win 7.  If you are using win 8 or higher, I would use the built-in Defender.

    Stand of my previous recommendations. You have too many security related products installed on your system, and that they cause conflicts resulting in the type of problems you are having.

    Each of them, including Malwarebytes, uninstall and install Microsoft Security Essentials.

    You can reinstall Malwarebytes, free version, later, after the system has been sufficiently stabilized.

  • Blue screen of Windows 7 64-bit. USB the problem or a symptom?

    For two months random BSOD crashes my Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit computer.  Looking at the accidents with the BSOD Viewer, many of the accidents are associated with ntoskrnl.exe with many page faults, problems with memory, etc.   Throughout this process, I found that my keyboard and wireless mouse stop working.  To get them to work again, I shoot the transmitter to the pc and plug it in again.  Often, I need to be relatively close to the transmitter to get to work.  In addition, my USB key with a backup drive would sometimes lock up.  The Device Manager has no icon saying something is bad and the USB drivers say up-to-date.

    System
    MB - Gigabyte - GA-P55M-UD2
    CPU - i5 750
    memory - 4 GB
    drive - seagate 1. 0 t 5400 RPM (SATA2)
    graphics - Nvidia 9500

    My not so far.
    SFC/scannow - shows no problem
    Chkdsk - shows no problem
    Windows 7 - it is updated
    winutlitiies - did not help
    Utility Windows 7 shows memory good
    Auditor of Seagate drive - shows the disc is fine
    video drivers are up-to-date
    no viruses or Trojans are present
    BIOS seems to be up-to-date
    Msconfig - with a minimum of options, still crashes (though much less)

    I'm at the point of reformatting the drive, but before doing so I opted to use a live CD linux with all my disks mounted version to see if the PC will crash.   It works perfectly.  I can broadcast 5 youtube videos, run 9 movies/videos, play many pieces of music - at the same time.  This type of load under windows 7 will result in an accident.  Regarding the USB part, mouse and the USB keyboard can be used for distance or have never stopped working. The successful use of linux shows that I have no hardware failure causing me problems.

    What are accidents caused by USB drivers or is this a symptom?
    What else can I try before a waste reformatting or reloading of the time?

    Thank you

    The minidump file showed a POOL_CORRUPTION_IN_FILE_AREA (to) stop without specified third-party driver error as causing the crash.

    Because of the kind of errors, I'd say remove a RAM module and see if there is an improvement.

    If not, try the other module.

  • NVidia updates causing the blue screen in Windows XP.

    I have two different desktop computers running Windows XP. Both have NVidia graphics cards. I recently downloaded Microsoft updates on a computer and noticed blue screen on shut down, page non paged area error code 50. It seems to suggest a problem with the display adapter. I tried several bugs to fix, but it persists most of the time. I assumed that it was unique to this computer until I downloaded the updates on my second computer, which I hadn't used in the month. All of a sudden I wake up a blue screen that is similar to booting with similar suggestion, it is the display adapter driver. NV4_DISP.dll in this case. What I noticed about this "update" is an update which is optional for NVidia and AC97. I downloaded both, but noted that they were dated 2003. I worked my way around the blue screen when starting in safe mode and cancelled the NVidia driver for... 2006! This was the driver I had installed from the Web of NVidia site, some time ago. The AC97 driver showed also a problem in the device driver, so I rolled back and things worked. I think that Microsoft sent an update for the drivers of video card NVidia and AC97 Codec which is damaged or outdated. This is not unique to Windows XP that others seem to experience it in Windows Vista and 7. My video cards are the two NVidia, but different models, which adds credibility to my theory. Any ideas or solutions?

    1. after making back the driver, change your configuration of automatic update of the automatic for the only Notify ("notify but not...") ") setting.

    2. open IE (only) to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058 & run it in DEFAULT difficulty and modes and AGGRESSIVE, and then restart your computer. [1]

    3. thereafter, NEVER approve the download (or install) updates offered by Windows Update driver, just "hide". Download all the NECESSARY updated driver from the device or computer manufacturers' download pages ONLY.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    [1] full Disclosure: the difficulty operating in AGGRESSIVE mode will remove your update history but not list the updates installed in Add/Remove Programs (Windows XP) or installed updates.
    Hello
    Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community.
    The DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error usually occurs after the installation of the faulty device driver or service system, BIOS.
    If you encounter a bug 0xA control during the upgrade to a later version of Windows, this error can be caused by a device driver, system service, an anti-virus or a backup tool that is not compatible with the new version.
    To help you suggest several steps to solve the problem, I would appreciate if you could answer the following questions:
    • Did you just install a new program or a piece of hardware, update a driver, install an update, etc. ?
    • You get the error message? Please provide the exact error message / error code.
    I suggest you try using the methods below and check if it can help solve the problem.
    Method 1: Run the Safe Mode and perform a clean boot
    Step 1: Safe Mode. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and services. Start your operating system in this way and see if the problem appears.
    Start the computer in safe mode with network and check if the problem persists. Follow these steps to start the computer in safe mode.
    Click on the link and follow the steps in Start parameters of Windows (including safe mode)
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows-8/Windows-startup-settings-including-safe-mode
    If the problem does not exist in safe mode, try to perform a clean boot and check.
    Step 2: Perform the clean boot.
    Reference: How to perform a clean boot in Windows
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
    Note: After troubleshooting, consult this section «How to reset the computer to start normally after a boot minimum troubleshooting»
    If the problem persists I suggest you follow method 2
    Method 2:
    Resolution of errors blue screen in Windows
    Reference: http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/resolve-Windows-blue-screen-errors
    IMPORTANT: When you use system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, the programs and updates that you have installed are removed.
    Also check your installed programs. If you see something that you have not installed and is not part of Windows, use the Remove Programs option.
    Hope this information is useful. Please let us know if you need help with Windows.
