Bookmark iPad

How can I delete a bookmark in Firefox on my iPad

They actually work (at least working on my side, I have Firefox 1.2 on my iPad too)... Let me think.

Just in case you try to delete an entire folder of bookmarks (where you synchronized from your desktop or any device), you can do that by removing directly, you must disconnect from sync (Journal of your account).

Or if you try to remove the bookmark "The Mozilla Project" and "help and Support Firefox" page, sorry, but there is still no real way clear to remove both. It looks like there is stuck there, unless the future updates changed that.

You can leave your comments for developers anyway.

  • I have an iPad and you'd like to raise my list of bookmarks of Firefox for MAC to my iPad Safari.app; is it possible automatically?

I have a MacBook Pro under OS X 10.5.7 and an iPad running iOS 6.1.3 2.
On MAC, I have Firefox for MAC v 19.0.2 and Safari 6.0.3
The iPad, I have only Safari for iPad. I always use Firefox as my browser for the MacBook, but there is no Firefox app for the iPad.

My Safari bookmarks automatically updated the MacBook to the iPad, but not Firefox for iPad. Is it possible for the auto update from Firefox instead of Safari to the Safari.app iPad? If not, is there an easy way on the MacBook to hold Safari bookmarks up-to-date with bookmarks in Firefox, so that the iPad share my Firefox bookmarks?

If this is not possible now, you count that is possible for MAC users who also have an iPad?

When you are in Safari and you open the bookmarks, when you see the bookmark that you want to delete, drag the bookmark to the left and you should see a red button to remove.

  • bookmarks in Safari on iPad does not correctly synchronize with iCloud

Hello. I have iOS 9.2 on my iPad 2 Air and OS X El Capitan on my MacBook Pro. My Safari bookmarks on my Mac with iCloud sync, but I have a few problems of synchronization of my safari bookmarks on my iPad. They sync out of order, or synchronize incomplete (compared to what I have on my Mac, which is the latest version).

I already disabled safari on my iPad (settings > iCloud > Safari) and selected the option 'remove' the data previously synchronized iCloud Safari on my iPad. When I switched back on safari on my iPad and waited a few minutes for synchronization to occur, my favorites were 90% agree, but some bookmarks were unserviceable and other bookmarks were missing in some of the tabs. I tried also to browse some Web sites in my favorites to see if forcing a fresh synchronization, but it did not help.

I would like to have the bookmarks on my iPad to be the same as the bookmarks on my Mac.

Before, when I got iOS 8 and the Mavericks, they have always been in good sync, but now they are not.

    Any ideas or suggestions?

    Thank you, Rick.

  • Saved my iPad in full before selling. How and then retrieve the data (bookmarks, photos, etc.) from my computer?

    Hello

I sold my iPad of the week. Before the restore to factory default, I made a backup (already backup place regularly to icloud anyway). I did manually a couple of times to make sure that the data has been saved.

I have just connected on iCloud on my PC but it is empty. I can try to go in Mail, Notes etc but there is nothing there. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong and how I can find the data backup?

    Thank you

Your backup data are not visible on iCloud.com

Where you want to restore data to? You did an archive of data which cannot be used on another device. It is not accessible in any other way.

  • bookmarks in Safari iPhone 6

Hello. I have synced my phone with iTunes and after that my favorite Safari favorites are gonzo. Someone has an idea? Thank you!

    Selly greetings,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I see that you have synced your iPhone with iTunes, and then after that your Safari bookmarks are missing. I guess it is on do not have all your Favorites after a sync. Let's get this sorted out.

Sync your iPhone with iTunes should not have an effect on your bookmarks. iTunes cannot sync some content, including bookmarks, notes or e-mail accounts. I recommend to close the Safari app and then reopen to see if bookmarks reappear. And also to give the iPhone a fresh reboot. These articles will help:

Force a nearby application on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

If you use iCloud bookmarks, use get help using bookmarks iCloud and playlist, more specifically, this section:

    iPhone, iPad, iPod touch

After each step, check to see if the problem persists.

Turn on bookmarks and update your device

    Check your Internet connection

    1. Open Safari and go to www.apple.com. If you are unable to connect to the Internet, your iCloud does not refresh playlist and Favorites in the app Safari help with your Internet connection.
    2. Open a secure Web site to your iOS device to see if you can access the ports 80 and 443. Safari requires access to port 443 to push updates between iCloud and your devices.

    Check your account details

Tap Settings > iCloud and make sure that you are logged in with the same ID Apple you use on your other supported devices.

    Restart Safari

Close and restart the Safari app on your iOS device.

    In iOS 7 or later:

    1. Double-click the Home button to see your open applications.
    2. Find the Safari preview screen and he drag up to close the application.
    3. Press the home key to return to your home screen.
    4. Wait a minute, and then reopen the Safari app.

Disable bookmarks to iCloud and turn it back on

    1. Tap Settings > iCloud.
    2. Disable Safari.
    3. You can choose to remove my [device] If your data exist on one or more of your computers. Otherwise, choose keep on my [device].
    4. Wait a few minutes and then back on Safari.

    Best regards.

    Hi DannoLaLa,

  • Lost folder Safari bookmarks

Safari 9.1.1. : I was a change in editing very simple bookmark to bookmark files - by changing the order of the folders so a folder was closer to the top of the list because of its importance for me.   Received an error message that says could not do it because the favorites were the synchronization, please try again in a few minutes.  WAITED 5 minutes and moved the folder closer to the top of the list.  However, when I opened that folder of bookmarks, the bookmarks disappeared.  It happened after the synchronization message.  What is causing this glitch and do for restore missing bookmarks

You can only restore the entire file of bookmarks to a previous state. It is not possible to restore the individual bookmarks.

Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select, then copy it to the Clipboard by pressing Control-C key combination:

    ~/Library/Safari

    Quit Safari.

    Select

    Go ▹ go to folder

in the Finder menu bar. Paste it into the text box that opens by pressing Command + V, then press return.

Should open a folder window. Restore the file named "Bookmarks.plist" in this folder from a previous backup of the changes unwanted.

If you don't have such a backup, but the Favorites are still present on an iOS (iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch) device that synchronizes with iCloud, then see below.

Save your iOS devices. Turn off sync iCloud Safari on all devices except those. Quit Safari and delete the bookmarks on the Mac, and then enable synchronization Safari on it. Launch Safari. Bookmarks must synchronize icloud.

  • iPad 2 - iBook screen goes black

I have an iPad 2 and use it a lot for reading books on iBook. iBook started to shut down the first time I open the app, but opens on the second try. Time to time (at least once per session), the screen turns black with white writing or not written at all. When he is not writing, I can not read this page and can find no way to stop the app change the color of the page. Also when I close the application, it does not save the bookmark, or my place in the book. I have to make a note where I am so I can go back to the page. This problem is only in the iBook app. The rest of my apps are great, including the Kindle App would appreciate some advice on what it's getting very annoying.

    Hello suepernz,

Please ask for help here in the communities of Apple. I will be happy to offer you some things to try to get your application properly functioning iBooks on your iPad again 2. The first thing we want to do is make a backup of all your data in iTunes or iCloud. This link will help with that:

How to back up your device using iCloud or iTunes

Once we know that your data is safe, go ahead and restart the iPad. You need not to do the cover, just a normal reboot will suffice for this.

Restart your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch.

If problems continue, go ahead and try to reset the settings on your device. Go to settings > general > reset, and then click Reset all settings. That it does not reset some of your settings to factory default. It is not a complete elimination of the settings and will not affect your personal data. It deletes all of your preferences for the Wi - Fi (including passwords for each network), Bluetooth, do not disturb, Notifications, general, sounds, brightness & wallpaper and privacy.

If you're still having problems, so we want to get a new version of the operating system, which will bring a new version of iBooks. To do this, you will need to erase your personal data and to define up to nine iPad using iTunes. This link will help you do this:

Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings

Once the iPad is set up as new, you will test to see if the iBook issues are pass without your personal data on the device. If this isn't the case, we know, it was with some data on the device or in the version of iOS, which will be in you backups. You can make the data manually using iCloud or iTunes, but not restored from the backup that you will bring the problem immediately in. These two items will help you synchronize your feedback:

Sync your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with iTunes on your computer through a USB port

Media synchronization between your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and iTunes on your Mac or PC

    See you soon.
