Bootcamp Drive distribution

I installed 10 Windows with Bootcamp and too much space, so I don't want Windows keep all that storage, so with an app from MiniTool Partition I cut free space and is on a different disk (because if I let the utility disk unallocated still will add it on the Bootcamp drive, so the unallocated space is available only in Windows) and now inside the disk utility I reformatted the drive so that OS X can see too and I can also use it as a seconday drive but there is no way to fusion of with the main drive as I used to be, why is this? Thanks for the help and sorry for my English...

There is no way to do what you ask without reformatting.

To join two partitions, they must be consecutive.

You cannot join the first (the mac partition) on the third (that you sculpted in training camp, which is the second).

You can always clone the mac to an external drive partition and then clone back.

There used to be a tool that did the same thing for the windows partition (winclone, I think) but I've never used it.

In any case, if you choose to reformat, it is a good idea to reformat with a single partition and do a clean install (which creates the 'recovery' for you partition) before clone you the mac partition back. Then apply the training camp to create the windows partition as desired and eventually clone back or install windows.

  • 4K @ 60 Hz fichier_ecriture deleted on the bootcamp driver update?

Hello, I currently have a 2015 Macbook pro with a M370x AMD 10 under bootcamp with the graphics driver 6.0 Windows Update installled.

I am running a LG 27UD68-P on the mini display port with an adapter Club3D HDMI 2.0.

This will run out 4K @ 60 Hz very well on Mac OS X and same bootcamp without updating to 6.0 graphics driver was last updated.

Now that I've updated, my refresh rate is only limited to 30 hz, even if AMD Radeon is the maximum resolution supported and the refresh rate is 60 Hz 4K.

I've updated the graphics card drivers previously using the method of unofficial workaround for the AMD driver version, but I re-installed Windows since then and you just want to know if it is possible with the latest updated version? If this is not the case, what would be the next driver update be scheduled for possibly?

    Thank you.

  • Bootcamp drive disappeared (El Capitan)

I'm sorry, I tried to follow the other messages on this problem and it doesn't seem to be easy to follow. The one I've seen seems to have mostly stocks and specific numbers OP.

I already had 2 partitions, Mac and a windows Bootcamp partition. I created another partition so that I could add to my side of Windows. After that this score was made I couldn't use bootcamp as a bootable drive.

I tried after a few steps online here. There seemed to be a problem with the MBR/GPT. I tried to do a hybrid MBR, but it seemed that I could not do so while rootless was turned on so I decided to do it later. Also, I assumed that it did not work because I had not yet turned without roots off the coast.

Next time, I turned on my computer ALL my partitions are not visible. It now LOOKS as if I only have 'Macintosh HD' and that's it, but my hard drive looks like now is almost completely filled so Bootcamp should be here somewhere.

    Any help is very appreciated!

  • Bootcamp driver has not been installed on Windows 10

I have a MacBook Pro 13 "2015 Version 500gig laptop and I installed on this Windows 10 successfully. While the bootcamp drivers were install my old computer crashed and I was forced to stop downloading the drivers to use my new computer for a time sensitive situation. When I returned to windows 10 I was not able to understand how to download the bootcamp drivers. They do not have and I don't have a bootcamp icon on my windows 10. Is there a way I can download the driver from software bootcamp or whatever it might be called so I can miss my mac again and add my right click buttons, etc.? Please help if you can.

You put Mac and power it back up and hold down the Alt/Option key. If you see a selection for OS X, OS x. Once in OS X, run BCA and download the drivers for a USB key.

  • Navigate to the bootcamp drive, while the virtual machine is open

I have VMWare Fusion 3.1, use it on a Windows 7 64-bit bootcamp.

I need to access my Mac OS player - sometimes even when I run (play?) the merger virtual machine.  The drive disappears from the Finder when it runs.  Can I change this?

    Hello

    No you can't change it.

A single operating system can directly access a system of files at a time unless it is a clustered file system.

Like any normal filesystems like NTFS/FAT/etc... are clustered, you cannot do so.

The answer to that is to share your files via network shares.

  • Impossible to install 10 Windows via BootCamp on iMac 5K with Fusion Drive

    Hello

I tried to install Windows 10 Professional via Boot Camp on my iMac 5K end of 2015 (version OS X 10.11) with a disc of the Fusion 2 to for about a week now. Right now I'm on my 4th or 5th try on Windows 10 installation on the iMac because each installation fails gives me an error that the drive is not formatted correctly or he couldn't find the score even though I have the selected in the list of available drives. I even went up to both to run the commands of the PART of the DISK from the command prompt in the area of troubleshooting Installer Windows 10 to format drive to NTFS instead of FAT32.

Here are some of the mistakes that I received:

1 Windows cannot be installed to this hard disk space. This space of hard disk is formatted with a version not support the NTFS file system.

    2. we could not create a new partition or locate an existing one. For more information, see the Setup logs files.

I used the Boot Camp configuration application (version 6.0.1) to create a USB key after you download the image ISO from Microsoft. The USB flash drive that creates the installer will start the iMac, but I can't get past the screen "where do you want to install Windows? I tried the merge disk partitioning ways without success, beforehand, because I thought that it could cause a problem. He was left as a full drive 2 TB, or divide the flash part away and seen the almost 2 to rotation and the merger of 128 GB (flash) portion and lucky either.

I'm full of ideas on what to try... I have loaded Windows 7 Professional via Boot Camp several times and have never encountered a problem with Boot Camp with 10 Windows so far.

Workaround I found that worked for me was to install

Win7 Pro 64 bit.  Then created just the Bootcamp driver USB key

(no operating system installer).  Next I went to do the upgrade of Win10 of

in the environment of Win7.  FWIW, I also chose to not save

    anything (new installation).

You will need to keep the installation to make sure that you press the Option

key with multiple reboots (why Windows still insists on this)

and select the Windows volume to boot from.  Once all the nonsense restarts

were carried out and finally Windows was running, I plugged it in training camp

driver USB key, install hardware drivers and everything was good to go.

Now, it was on an old MacBook Pro, which does not officially have the Bootcamp

support for WIn10 if the material is quite capable.

  • 2014 iMac will not recognize part of the promenade of fusion after failure bootcamp

    Hi all

I tried to install windows 7 with boot camp. I put the disk in boot camp to be around 250 GB. When it restarts, it did not recognize the USB key and asked for a disc. I have no disc drive I did a hard stop down. This scene reproduces and I stopped again and it starts in recovery. I then deleted the bootcamp drive and tried the mac hd drive for all distribution. It froze and I restarted. I did not start so I went back into recovery and restored a backup. Disk utility does not show the 250 GB I booked for the boot camp. Only TI 777 free on 860.48. It is a Fusion of 1.12 to disc. Help, please. I know it is probably self-inflicted and I did several things wrong.

    Thank you for your time.

1 W7 is not supported on Mac from 2015. I wouldn't recommend any other attempt.

    2. If the restoration did not erase the entire disk fusion, you restored to a Volume of CS of OSX existing, which won't change size.

    3. start Internet recovery, remove part of the SSD and HDD, if necessary and then restore them to a newly created CS LV/LVG. You use Time Machine to restore?

  • bootcamp/windows issues

    Hi all

I gave a chance of 5 apple support reps to answer this question and still cannot be resolved so I hope you guys can help.

I'm on the last machine of iMac (21.5 inch, 4K retina display) with operating system up-to-date. I tried to install windows with the bootcamp assistant. I belong to users who need a USB drive connected to it.

Machine made all the copy of the files of my ISO file that is on my local drive, but when it restarts to start installing windows, he went in a small window about 2 inches of width in the middle of the screen. I managed to make the first steps, including the seizure of the product code. When I got to the screen where it shows the installation discs for Windows, there is no bootcamp drive! I couldn't use the other readers had to cancel. Have made several times now and always after the round trip in a single volume on the computer (and therefore remove the drive bootcamp). And Yes, there was a training camp in car, as I could see it in disk utility, but with no data on this.

Really grateful if someone could help me determine why the configuration screen becomes small, and also why he can't find my bootcamp drive. As training camp did things that I can't really find anything I have hurt.

    Thank you and rega

  • Impossible to install Bootcamp and partition problem

Hello guys, I really need your help. I can't install Windows more Bootcamp partition.

So I read a lot of articles on the problem of the partition but it seems that I can not solve the problem at all and I think my problem is very critical. Here's how things all turned out badly:

-J' tried to update to OS X version 10.11.5 from the Mac App Store.

-After restart my Macbook, I got the message error "OS X could not be installed on your computer...". ».

-J' tried to find a solution and I found this:https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203482

-J' did what the site Web told me, that I used the disk utility to resize the partition to the Mac (at the time I had Windows 10 Bootcamp on my Mac). So the thing has helped, I was able to update OS X 10.11.5. After that, I had resized the partition of the Mac to its normal size. (I was very careful not to touch anything else like Bootcamp)

' - The day after I restarted my Mac to use Windows, but since the splash screen, I saw only 'Macintosh HD', I booted in OS X and is passed as a parameter to indicate my boot under BOOTCAMP drive, after restarting black screen said: "no boot device... »

-I went on the web and find all the solutions and I formatted the BOOTCAMP partition and deleted all his data, now my Bootcamp Assistant said: "the startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition.". I tried to install Windows 7 on USB, I chose Bootcamp (score 4), but now I have this: "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. the selected disk is a MBR partition table. On EFI systems, windows can be installed on disks GPT THAT MBR cannot support... »

Now I can't find any way to install back my Windows on the partition, I read on the internet that OS X sees that the GPT partition Windows considers MRB. Here are a few photos can help:

My Macbook HDD has 3 parts: Macintosh HD (use for OS X), Bootcamp (used for the installation of Windows) and DATA (use to store large data)

    Hi Jason Dang,.

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. What a great way to try to get this problem resolved on your own! The best resolution would be to format the drive outside the Bootcamp utility. Your drive must be formatted using the recovery partition. Once you format the drive, you will be able to use the wizard Boot Camp re partition and re install Windows. Please try the link below and select "erase a disc and reinstall OS X.

Restore your Mac to factory settings should get your Windows successfully installed.

  • Bootcamp partition does not appear at startup

    Hello

I'm on iMac 27 inches, end of 2013, and I have a problem. A week ago I tried to clean my mac and start from the beginning. Because my mac has been very slow. Then I do what it takes. So, apparently, I erased all macintosh hd and leave bootcamp partition. So I used for a while because I was tired. And yesterday I don't know what I have everything in the bootcamp partition and recovery of mac has just finished after 4 hours I was relaxing and wanted to extend my bootcamp partition. I don't know how, I deleted both the partition boot and forcefully repeat thing of recovery for 4-5 hours. So now I mavericks, disc bootcamp as not a partition and a very weak internet because of the recovery. And cannot choose the startup as a bootcamp drive or can't do anything for the bootcamp partition disk utility... Can you help me? I'm sorry if I could not tell you very clearly
