Bootcamp using 2 of my 4 hearts permanently?

I have a MacBook Pro 2 GHz Intel Core i7, Yosemite 10.10.5 running. I think I have four total cores. I installed Bootcamp, but am running OSX. I would like to partition analysis on processors as much as possible. What Bootcamp using 2 hearts at all times or I am able to access all four cores? In other words, if I'm carrying out the analysis using Terminal on OS x, I'm able to use 2 or 4 cores (without re-partition Bootcamp)?  Thank you.

Installation of Boot Camp does not Windows kernels commit unless Windows is running.

    Your heart rate. What it means, and where on Apple Watch you will find. -Apple Support

    According to this link, it should be available - but I can't find it on my Apple Watch?

    Is there a setting that needs to be enabled on it somewhere? The only place where I can see the heart rate is in the menu looks and there are only a few seconds? and takes awhile to show the heart rate.

    Hello

    When you save a workout using integrated workout app, your heart rate will be measured continuously throughout the workout. During training, you can also choose what primary metric is shown on your dial, with choices including heart rate. At the end of the workout, the results include the heart rate data. Training sessions are also recorded in the implementation of the activity on your iPhone.

    During the workout, to change the main metric indicated on the dial of the watch, slide on the side on this subject. Depending on your type of activity, the choice may include: time, active calories, total calories, heart rate, rhythm, speed and distance.

    Health and fitness data from other sources, iPhone, and Apple Watch are also aggregated within the health on iPhone app. Combined data is reflected in the application of health dashboard, which adjusts the results to avoid any double counting of data from different sources.

    To see Apple Watch heart rate data and other sources (for example a Bluetooth chest monitor strap):

    -On your iPhone, in the application of health (icon has a red heart on a white background), go to: data on health (tab) > Vitals > heart rate.

    Data are displayed in graphical form (this can be added to the application of Health Dashboard by activating the setting here) as well as individual data points (via display all data).

  • Bootcamp partition extended, now cannot start Windows

    Hi all, hope you can help. Running Windows 7 on Bootcamp partition. OS X El Capitan 10.11.5 on the other side.

    Needed to make Windows larger partition to install away from port, although comments, not sure that all this pain is worth it. That's what's happened so far:

    1. I enlarged the Bootcamp using disk utility partition

    2 restart the computer and now the Alt key, I could not see the usual option to start the Windows partition.

    3 then I read that I had to go to the preferences system and make my boot drive Bootcamp, I did.

    4 but on reboot, I get the error message "no boot device - insert the diskette and press any".

    5. isn't a step 5. The hope that you could help me find one.

    Thanks in advance for any wisdom.

    How to enlarge a Boot Camp partition is either:

    a. assistant Boot Camp use to remove Windows and refer the reader to a single partition. Then reinstall Windows using Boot Camp Assistant by specifying the size of Boot Camp, that you need for now.

    b. use CampTune, a third-party application, to resize one already set up to the Boot Camp partition.

  • Color iMac 17.1 for Windows bootcamp 10 profile

    Hi all

    10 Windows running on the iMac 17.1 with the display of P3 (end 2015 27 ") seem dark and saturated. I was trying to change the color of the monitor profiles as you normally would on a standard Windows computer, but when I do the same thing on the iMac in Bootcamp Windows completely ignores the color profile. Is this a known issue with the Bootcamp drivers or monitor? Is the a way to get accurate color on Bootcamp using P3 view? Thanks in advance.

    Look under the management of the colors for the adapter.

  • Impossible to install Bootcamp and partition problem

    Hello guys, I really need your help. I can't install Windows more Bootcamp partition.

    So I read a lot of articles on the problem of the partition but it seems that I can not solve the problem at all and I think my problem is very critical. Here's how things all turned out badly:

    -J' tried to update to OS X version 10.11.5 from the Mac App Store.

    -After restart my Macbook, I got the message error "OS X could not be installed on your computer...". ».

    -J' tried to find a solution and I found this:https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203482

    -J' did what the site Web told me, that I used the disk utility to resize the partition to the Mac (at the time I had Windows 10 Bootcamp on my Mac). So the thing has helped, I was able to update OS X 10.11.5. After that, I had resized the partition of the Mac to its normal size. (I was very careful not to touch anything else like Bootcamp)

    ' - The day after I restarted my Mac to use Windows, but since the splash screen, I saw only 'Macintosh HD', I booted in OS X and is passed as a parameter to indicate my boot under BOOTCAMP drive, after restarting black screen said: "no boot device... »

    -I went on the web and find all the solutions and I formatted the BOOTCAMP partition and deleted all his data, now my Bootcamp Assistant said: "the startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partition.". I tried to install Windows 7 on USB, I chose Bootcamp (score 4), but now I have this: "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. the selected disk is a MBR partition table. On EFI systems, windows can be installed on disks GPT THAT MBR cannot support... »

    Now I can't find any way to install back my Windows on the partition, I read on the internet that OS X sees that the GPT partition Windows considers MRB. Here are a few photos can help:

    My Macbook HDD has 3 parts: Macintosh HD (use for OS X), Bootcamp (used for the installation of Windows) and DATA (use to store large data)

    Hi Jason Dang,.

    Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. What a great way to try to get this problem resolved on your own! The best resolution would be to format the drive outside the Bootcamp utility. Your drive must be formatted using the recovery partition. Once you format the drive, you will be able to use the wizard Boot Camp re partition and re install Windows. • Data of heart rate watch/iphone for mac?

    I don't know how to use the on the watch heart rate monitor and I know how to see the daily lists of heart rate through the day on my iPhone, but I can't figure out how to get all the data that is listed on my MacBook Pro or even an app to see what traced on my iPhone 6.  The list is great, but I really want to see this trace on another way.  The apps I've seen for the iPhone can take each day and give me an average, but which is useless, since a few days I do intense exercise and others do not and average is not what I'm looking for.

    Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hello

    Health and fitness data from other sources, iPhone, and Apple Watch are shared with and grouped within the health on iPhone app.

    The data of frequency heart he include a chart, that trace data of heart rate of your choice of course day, week, month or year (press the tabs to change the time period):

    -In the health app (red heart on a white background), go to: health data > Vitals > heart rate.

    -To add the table to the health Dashboard app, enable this option.

    This and other application of health data can also be exported, which you may find useful for a more detailed analysis (health app: health data > All - Share at the top button on the right).

    There are also a few third-party applications that you might find useful - for example:

    Access to QS

    -"Access your HealthKit data in a table so you can Explorer using numbers, Excel, R, or any other tool compatible CSV."

    I did a clean install of Windows 10 in training camp with the ISO (International English) I downloaded from Microsoft. There is no sound on the Windows side, but it seems to work fine otherwise. In the Windows Device Manager shows no driver problem. Apple support stated that they could not help and it was a problem with Windows. Microsoft wouldn't help me and said it was a problem with the machine Apple and BootCamp. Microsoft says that Windows 8 is compatible but not Windows 10. How to make the noise at work?

    Sound will not present via the pilot of its correct training camp. Have you tried to go into the Manager of devices and say things to get the latest audio driver for your system? Check that Bootcamp using the sound driver appropriate for your system.

  • How can I recover my original data files on my 8 GB USB Drive, I used to run Ready Boost.

    My laptop has Vista Home Premium.
    Using the option "speed up my system" when I logged on my 8 GB Transcend USB, I've probably activated Ready Boost.
    The USB was about 3.7 GB of data valuable personal (user - excel, word, jpg etc. files) also, but they are not visible or accessible more.
    However, the USB shows through properties, 3.70 GB of used space.
    Even after going to Option, properties of the removable disk, ReadyBoost, do not use this device, I'm not able to recover my original files.
    Help, please.

    You can try to recover the data with data recovery software. If this does not work, the only other option is to send the drive to a professional data, which is quite expensive recovery company. Only you can decide how your "valuable personal data" are interesting. And it's one of the reasons why we do not use USB thumb as succession only permanent drives.

    Data recovery software:

    R - Studio - http://www.r-tt.com/
    Recuva - http://www.piriform.com/recuva

    Professional data recovery - I use Drive Savers for my clients, but there are others. General prices run $500-$ 3 700 with an average of about $2,700. I understand that some insurance companies now cover the cost data recovery so check with your insurer.

    My Mac Mini (mid-2011, 500 GB Toshiba 2.5 HD) with a Win 8 installation enabled in OS x BootCamp is dead. • Which will be of type CPU Photoshop use best?

    I'm building my new PC. The main use is image editing with Photoshop CS6 or CC. I don't DO any game.  I've read conflicting reports on which is the best processor to use for this application.  I'm trying to decide between a slightly slower processor with 6 cores (Intel i7-5820) or a faster processor core i7 - 6700 k 4.  What type of CPU Photoshop would do better to use?  Some say more hearts will help Photoshop multi-threading tasks. Others say that the PSP is almost every single thread and the pure speed of the 4 CPU core advantage will prevail. Thoughts?

    It will be the installer on Windows 10.  Let's say I have more RAM than God and the fastest SSD hard drive, known to mankind. I use not all PSP 3D functions. I am a moderate user of PSP only works with RAW files, 5 to 10 layers in my PSD files with the largest PSD about 500 MB.

  • Emulation of bands oracle.disksbt permanent parms problem

    Hello

    I learn and play with the concepts of rman for backup and recovery.

    Without a real band, I found that I can imitate one using the oracle.disksbt tape library.
    I have configured the use of this library and settings permanently using this command rman associated:
    configure channel device type sbt parms="SBT_LIBRARY=oracle.disksbt, ENV=(BACKUP_DIR=/backup/ocp1/tape)";
    I saw, too, that I can put it with EM DB Console in field of Media Management of the vendor library settings backup settings.
    On this page, when I press the button Test tape backup , it reports that it is successful. Fine.

    With RMAN console, all of these commands work as expected with the new default setting for the sbt tape library:
    backup device type sbt database;
    delete obsolete device type sbt;
    crosscheck backup;
    backup device type sbt incremental level 0 database;
    But, when I try this, it does not work:
    RMAN> run { allocate channel c1 type sbt; }

    using target database control file instead of recovery catalog

    channel parameters specified with CONFIGURE are loaded only when the automatic distribution channel allows
    Look at the Sub test:

    configure channel device type disk format '/tmp/%U';
    configure default device type to disk;

    now, run:

    run
    {
      backup current controlfile;
    }

    controlfile will be saved in the directory/tmp

    now, run:

    run
    {
      allocate channel c1 device type disk;
      backup current controlfile;
    }

    controlfile will be saved in $ORACLE_HOME/dbs or FRA because there is no responsible format specifier

  • my airport express does not extend to my network

    Hello to you all guru out there...

    I 5g internet and comes with the router and signal is fantastic in the main lounge, but it is a large apartment and once I get my room the signal decreases considerably.

    I bought an Airport Express and it connects to the wifi perfectly, green light and everything, but it does not extend my wifi network...

    Do I need to have another Aiport Express hooked up to the main router, then extend the Airport Express wifi or should I get an Airport Extreme?

    Any advice or help is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Do I need to have another Aiport Express hooked up to the main router, then extend the Airport Express wifi

    Yes, the "main" AirPort Express should be connected to your router using a wired Ethernet cable connection, permanently. This Express will be set to "create a wireless network.

    Other Express your distance can then be configured to "extend a wireless network.  In its current form, your existing Express is configured to "join a wireless network.  It will work for AirPlay like that, or allow you to connect a supported USB printer, but it cannot extend a network provided by a third-party router wireless.

    Regarding matching them things, it would make sense to use two airport expresses, or the two extremes of the airport.  The extreme might be your "primary" router if you wanted to, but the Express would not be able to expand the capacity of faster speed to the extreme.
