• VLAN & UC520/CE520

  Hi, I have a problem with routing between VLANs.

  I have two VLAN data put on the boxes above: 192.168.6.0/24 & 192.168.3.0/24.

  There's a UC520 box with its default ip address in the range 6.0 and all CE520s (three of them) also have an ip address in the range of 6.0. All the facilities are connected by trunk ports.

  Route by default network 6.0 is the UC520 and all customers can route properly and more importantly, see CME/CUE web page at 10.1.10.1.

  Route by default of the 3.0 network is an SBS server that is connected to one of the switches CE520. All customers can route between them and with the SBS server without problem. However, none of the customers including the SBS server can see 10.1.10.1.

  What I did to solve this problem is put in place one of the ports in the UC520 as being assigned to the VLAN 3.0 and one of the two switches with 3.0 clients connected to this port. It did not work.

  I can't really experience it's a direct network.

  Any suggestions as to what is wrong?

  I understand what your Setup is, looks like you route 192.168.3.0/24 customer traffic on the SBS server that does not have a road to the network 10.1.10.0/24 on the UC500. As a general rule, customer traffic would be routed to the UC500 and incidentally is how to make the delivery as expected 192.168.6.0/24.

  There are two ways to solve this problem.

  (1) adds an interface VLAN3 on the UC500 with an IP address in the subnet 192.168.3.0/24.

  1 a) set up a DHCP server on the UC500 for this subnet and have customers get an address with an address of default gateway address IP UC500 assigned to VLAN3.

  1 (b), add a default route on the SBS server also point to the UC500 IP address assigned to VLAN3

  This will allow the entire routing to all subnets that the UC500 has in its routing table including the internet.

  (2) If you want only the 192.168.3.0/24 subnet in order to reach the SBS server and the 10.1.10.1 subnet and prefer to use the SBS as your DHCP server and the router on the subnet 192.168.3.0/24, then you need to add a static route on the SBS server to point to an interface UC500.

  If you repeat step 1) from the top and then add the static route on the Server SBS pointing newly configured address IP UC500.

  If you have trouble getting to the 10.1.10.1 address, make sure you have a trunk set up between the UC500 and CE520 and VLAN3 is permitted by the trunk.

  Note: Using a tracert on Windows PC command can help you see every jump she goes through the network to the destination. If it stops at the IP address of the SBS server, then you know it is that the package is and indicates that the SBS does not know how to route the package to the front. In general, the last IP address is the device that needs the updated routing table to forward the packet to its destination.

• Unable to select the file in the dialog box in the Sierra

  I'm unable to select an image file in the "save for Web" in the finder window "save under" in Photoshop CC running on the Sierra.

  There are times where I need to save a new image using a similar name by selecting the existing file, which matches the name in the dialog box "save under".

  The use of Photoshop CC in Sierra I am unable to do so due to the inability to select the existing files in the Save-as the finder window.

  I thought at first that was Adobe, but later, I noticed that I can not save for web browsers and other programs. I installed the beta updates on Sierra, but also which did not set. I hope be fixed so I can move on to Sierra. It was not such a problem in previous versions.

  Unfortunately, your discovery is correct. I just met for the first time. I was shocked, but apparently it will work in list view. View miniature not a reason any.

  You should be able to use an hdmi, dvi, and port (if it supports hdcp) directly, as they were TV

  but the port hdmi or display in a computer is out only, some TV tuner boxes can support hdmi in but do not know if they could manage the hdcp encryption

  My filters junk mail very well on my iphone and ipad; but I have a practically empty spam folder on my iMac which paradoxically is not good; because I lack important emails sometimes end up there.

  I shouldn't get the same box of junk mail on my mac and on my iphone? Why the my balls mac is empty? Missing important emails. Is it related to the e-mail servers imap vs. pop?

  It could be, if you use a POP system only the first client to get unwanted has it in her junk folder, if IMAP, all will be.

• Save file dialog box can't name.

  Hello!

  I've updated 5 macs in my household to Mac OS Sierra. Mac Mini, two retina Macbook and iMac 5K. None of them are able to pick up existing file name when you try to save a file. I used to be able to click on a file on my disk and it entered the name of the file in the Save dialog box, but the entry in the right field remains empty and I have to write the name of the file manually. Really frustrating when just in collaboration with revisions and you want to change the last number in the file name.

  Anyone else experienced this and maybe have a fix?

  Your message has caused me to try this using two different applications (Apple Pages) and overview of the MacOS.  In both cases, when I open an existing file, his name came up in the center of the window.  Also, when I did a "Save" or "Save...". "this file name was introduced as the default name. in other words, a backup would just replace the existing file.

  The behavior you describe is clearly based on what application you are using.  You did not specify which application could be.

• Java SDK (new) dialog box

  This seems to be a common problem, whenever we have a new version of Mac OS, but I can't, from my POV, find the right solution.

  Every two hours or when waking from sleep, a dialog box appears telling me to install a Java Development Kit. As I said, this has happened many times before when you Google, but I can't find someone who offers you a solution where you don't need to install the JDK. It seems that the only solution is to succumb to the demand of the dialog box.

  In my case (and this may vary, I'm not sure), it is the launchd process that requires it. But I can't go further than in my knowledge of the OS. I tried to delete all the files about kinds of Java and have looked everywhere for stuff that could trigger this, I deleted LauchDeamons, LaunchAgents, all related to Java I could remove in / System / * and (~)/Library/* etcetera, etcetera, but this dialog box keeps popping up, so something ask and I cannot understand what it is.)

  

  What I need, is not install Java. I don't like, and I think that it is an old and dangerous technology. I want to just get rid of it all once and for all (and if all goes well, without having to reinstall everything form scratch).

  Anyone can shed some light on this? It's the system itself that think I need this, or is there a way I can dig deeper to understand what triggers it?

  The operating system does not use Java in some way. You have installed software that only requires Java, but it must also be Java 6 legacy published by Apple (and abandoned) years.

  If you don't want to install Java, you must determine what software you have installed which requires Java and remove it. From what I've seen here, it's generally Adobe software that appears to have been poorly coded to only use the Apple of Java 6.

  Hi all!

  This problem lasts for at least a month now, so I figure it's high time to ask about it. Several weeks back my iPhone 4 has stopped to give me a new email alerts. I have all my accounts the value 'Badges, sounds and alerts.  I get the sound / vibrate when I get a new email but I DO NOT get an alert box. It was always nice to get a glimpse of emails and I want to come back.

  Of course, I receive pushed emails I get sound. Anyone has any ideas on where to go from here? The problem persists after a reboot.

  Yes, all my devices running the latest OS - watchOS 3, iOS10, macOS Sierra (iPhone 7, iPad mini 4, MacBook Pro 12.1, Apple Watch) all signed the same iCloud, 2 authentication account activated - so everything according to the instructions.

  Interestingly, the box was causing it (under privacy and security on the Mac), it was when I had still activated authentication step 2, but once I disabled that & activated authentication factor 2 - the box disappeared and never came back.

  Yes, I disconnected icloud on Mac, & into the new.

  Off hand is also activated.

  I spent all morning on this, it is now, I want lessee a string of expletives.

  I also had this problem. He was there at the beginning, and when I checked it, it gave me the error alert that I need to change 2 factor authentication. I did and then the box disappeared. I rebooted each device, etc... What worked was signing off iCloud desktop and then signing right back. Always a little nervous racking when you remove your contacts and calendars. But just make sure that you are supported, etc.

  You specifically asked for their help? If this isn't the case, then dismiss the dialog box. It's probably a scam coming through your browser open.

  There is only a single Apple TV which has an app store, so it looks that you have a previous Apple TV that does not have an app store.

  Applications are integrated to the Apple TV earlier, they don't include hub of BBC iPlayer or iTV.

  Welcome to the communities of Apple Support!  Looks like you are having problems connecting to your computer administrator user account.  (A 'Keychain' is a password management system).  Have you recently made changes to your computer (update your operating system, download any software, no password)?  The files above to indicate your computer tries to launch applications like iCloud, Messages, etc.

  The first thing I would say is to restart your computer.  It sounds simple, but it can be a very easy solution.  If this does not work, restart your computer again, but this time hold down the SHIFT key.  It's what we call a safe mode.   If your computer starts in safe mode without these error messages, then restart again in normal mode (without pressing any key).

  Try safe mode if your Mac does not end commissioning

  If none of these two basic troubleshooting steps work, you may need to enter a new password of your login keychain.  Follow the steps in the resource below:

  After you or your administrator Mac resets the password of your OS X user account, your Mac may ask you to update your Keychain password or enter your login Keychain password. He could also tell you the system was unable to unlock your login keychain. It's because your login keychain still use your old password.
