Brand new AXC-115-UR20 produces continuous long beep when turned on, never boots. What gives?

It's the other, I get like this, returned the first. This is a whole new AXC-115-UR20. I press the power button and I get a continuous long beep, display lights never, ever computer of messages. Monitor, keyboard and mouse are connected.

Hello mieves,.

A long continuous beep means that your office has a memory error (in your case, it's a random error).

As it is under warranty, I suggest you contact your Acer support.

We turned on the office today and it does not start.  The power light constantly blinks blue and turns the fan on the motherboard, but it does not start.  I thought that perhaps it would be mode 'sleep', but we do not seem to wake up.  We tried to remove the CMOS battery for several minutes, while the machine has been disconnected, but this did not help.  We have tried unplugging everything at the rear of the machine, but that did nothing either.  Tried to enter the power button several times in a row to see if it would wake it upward, but no luck.  Mouse and keyboard may not wake either.  Tried unplugging and then now the power for 30 seconds, then plug back but no luck

Does anyone know how to get this fashion model 'sleep'?  I hope that this is the only problem with it.  Machine is running Windows 10.

Unfortunately, they are there and I saw them as cheep as less than 50. Whenever I do, I'm still without money LOL. When I have money left only is them more than 150 and a little less of 200 and for me I don't want to pay for a replacement because I don't know how long it will last... I tell my sister that the 600, that she now is hers to use and when the 115 is fixed I so just for light use around my computer network...

There are other boards that are out there, who can fit in this case... Remember that a 115, 2 ports USB 3.0 at the front, and more other tips that could fit only so if you want to use the USB port, they would need be converted in what would be the new MB for the Front USB...

Like saying you went with 603G they offer 1 3.0 in the back and 2 2.0 forward. But if you found one who said the 605-UR11 that offers usb 2 3.0 in the police and most likely can be connected without conversion...

  • Suddenly, Windows NOT simply allow me to create a new folder - the choice is NO longer available when I "right-click" - what happened?

Suddenly and without any warning, I can't create a simple "new folder"; an attempt to 'right click' offers me only: 1) a folder compressed (zip), or, 2.) a Briefcase.   Why the simple "new folder" disappeared off the coast of the menu list, and HOW do I get BACK?

If I open Explorer and try to create a new folder from there, I can "click"New folder"button all DAY, but it does NOTHING.

    What happens here?

I am running Windows 7 and so did 15-16 months, without any real problem, so far.

If anyone can help with this, I would CERTAINLY appreciate it.

  • Satellite P10 504: continuous beep when turned on

My P10 504 beeps continuous shortly after it is turned on. It will stop beeping and will restart but return to the continuous beep. So he can start consists of hit the F2 and go into the BIOS and quit, then it start OK.

I pressed the keys during startup to see if it could be sticky keys, but that has no effect.
If I take the entire memory when you start it beeps to tell me that I have no recollection. If a bank is in the continuous beep back.

One, then it tends to make Windows to automatically display the search tool and update constantly the screen except esc is hit.

Any ideas or other tests to be done?

    Hello

I don't know where the problem is, but maybe you should try to reinstall the BIOS.
If this does not help, please contact the ASP in your country.

  • 6 long beeps when installing a graphics card

Hi I have a HP Pavilion P7-1262 and I bought a GeForce GTX 750ti to install on it. But when I Beach it in my motherboard and power on my computer it just page me 6 times. And before that you bind me to the other post with a similar title, I've been there and its not been of any help. I just want to get my operational video card.

    Thanks, Evan

    Hello

    You have two options:

    1. Upgrade to Windows 8 and install BIOS update publication.
    2. Return the video card and get a "N" MSI 750 model or 750TI. Check out this thread.

  • Errors/problems with my brand-new Equium A200 15I (including video material)

    Hello

I am treated to a new computer laptop last Saturday and only had for about 3 and a half days so far but I noticed a few things that I wasn't sure were errors/defects or if it was simply because its news, like the fact that sometimes I type with the keyboard and some letters do not appear on the screen , I think it's probably more to do with me not type or support pretty strongly on the keys rather than anything else, his is not so much now... the touchpad becomes a bit sticky too and he thinks I want to scroll up and down when I move the cursor does not scroll sometimes but I managed to make it work I think that most laptops have glitches like that and no doubt I could help fix it in calibrating the pad (?) touch I did have time to consider the issue and yet if... There are a few other things well and more disturbing than this morning I got an error of video material, so now im a little just worried or suspicious that it may be a real fault with him and would like to know if it is the case, if its something I can fix eventually (im no expert especially with the material, but I can always try to download and installation of updates / corrections and this kind of thing so she could solve the problems).

The main thing that concerns me more, is that this morning a message suddenly come to the screen, warning me that there was an error in video material, last night, I clicked on a button, I think for load more information. and I took this perforated cap of it: -.

    http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/724/errorscreencapcw1.jpg

I thought it may be useful to view the actual complete message rather try everything and paste the info., ok to be honest I've not noticed it allow you to copy to the Clipboard, but good (oops lol).

I know there is a topic on a similar error, but I didn't want end-to-end on this discussion because I assume that it should be for this mistake of people who will be discussed, mine may be slightly different, I don't know... I followed the instructions given in this discussion and I checked the Device Manager and no material defects are appearing, btw it is said in the Manager of peripheral devices, graphics cards, it's a Mobile Intel 945 GM Express Chipset Family, I'm sure that all laptops A200 15I have the same card, but I thought I would just make it clear that. Incase that wasn't the right thing to check I also checked under "Audio, video and game controllers" (as the error says it was a video hardware error) where it lists the only as being "Realtek High Definition" Audio and I checked the properties, both under properties it says that the device works properly, without signs of defects...

The thing is, I had read somewhere online that there is a problem with the graphics or video cards. I had read that they can be glitchy and sometimes break after a year. I also asked my father about it and we looked at it as a graphics card Intel that came with this laptop, which it is, and we counted that the Intel chips is as reliable as any other brand really... so I don't think there should be a problem, well that is there I have until September next for repair prior to the expiration of the warranty!

What surprises or sort of worry, however, is that the error message was only introduced to me this morning. It dates from error, as having occurred at 19:53. I use it at night last, and infact, I went to take a shower and I put the laptop down before you go take a shower at around 19:35, I assumed that its ok just close the lid and it would automatically go into hibernate mode or something similar (?) im wondering if that had something to do with it as I 19:53 would have been about when I came back and lifted the lid/screen again to use the laptop again... I can only assume, given the time, he cites, is what caused the failure?

It gives me the option to "update driver software" and "hardware change analysis" in the Device Manager, can I run both, or one of those who maybe? is this a common problem? should I worry at all etc...

Any help is very appreciated, if more info. Please let me know and ill clarify what I can. Also in terms of whats installed, I have quite a few programs, for graphics, I have an old version of Paint Shop Pro, which I installed it yesterday morning, it seems to install fine, it is Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7, I have also some programs of converter (for files vid, 3GP and other things), scan antivirus AVG, Spybot Search & Destory DBPowerAmp, FTP Commander, Quicktime and Real Player, pretty basic stuff like that, nothing, just my old photos and vid files I transferred from my old laptop XP to it, in my documents... I don't have all the Senior Games motorized or complicated or anything else like that installed. Also at that time, indicates the video hardware error message, everything that was in progress when I got the cover down (or before putting the lid down) would have been Windows Live Messenger (although I'm pretty sure that I registered before putting the lid down) and an IE window , im pretty sure that's it, I was not working on anything just check the ' net...

There are other things I noticed as I thought that maybe I should mention (?), something I've noticed he's doing is the screen goes blank and then back very quickly, a lot. I already asked about it a day or so there at that time, I realized he was only doing that before loading the "Windows needs your permission to continue" window/message, who apparently its supposed to do and something to with the computer to switch to display the normal desktop to the secure desktop, I kind of understand lol.
So I think that's not something to worry about but I noticed during the lastday, that the screen seems to do it more, goes blank then back again, even if the authorization message does not appear.

For example, this morning, when I first put on and am went to check out my home page, I clicked on a link at the bottom of the page or anywhere where to load another page into the site and display deleted for a while before coming back a second later with the requested page. Is this normal too? or an associated Vista glitch, or is it possible that there may be a small problem with the monitor? Incase of im guessing it can be more than one thing in Vista, but I thought I would ask here, I decided to not pay for any extra insurance/warranty extension because I am very careful with my items and take care of them and so I'm being careful to try to spot defects early, while they may be repairable under the basic warranty and what-not...

Another thing I noticed is that start with, when I pressed on and kept the 'FN' key, a variety of icons, black and white appeared on the screen that told me what F button (s) to use to make certain adjustments, there still is that when I try right now, but at other times, it does not show icons , no matter how long I hold down the "fn". That didn't matter because I can tell by the symbols on the keyboard press what buttons but its just inconsistent, is there a reason why sometimes the row of icons on the screen will appear when I press and hold the "FN" key and other times it doesn't show at all?

Also sometimes if I move the slider to the right to the top of the screen, these icons loading as they always seem to be located at the top of the screen, but sometimes it's a problem, if im trying to click on something else and one of these icons rises instead... I'm sure that you can disable this option in sort , but I'd be worried that the icons do not always show when I press and hold the right Button (?) just try to be careful!

I think that this post is long enough and I don't see what else I could possibly add to help, so I'll leave this here. I don't want to sound too paranoid, but thought it is better to talk about this kind of things incase someone recognizes these defects/errors and can recommend a way fast to resolve potential problems before they can develop into what whether it is worse... Thank you very much in advance for any help on any of these issues!

(mods let me know if im wrong to include so many things in a subject, I fact kind of this quickly and I apologize if im breaking any rules, I don't want to, if possible please break this into a few different themes or I can do it, although ill be at work frm 2-21:00 today so maybe not back and able to check here until Thursday morning (October 4))

    Hey Isla

Your message is really very, very long. I think it's too long to read twice ;) s

. Regarding your questions on this laptop well. Looks like you have installed many applications and 3 third party programs. In such cases, it s not easy to say if these problems are software or hardware related. But I guess that its software.

I checked your screenshot pic, but I've never seen this error message. But it looks like something wrong with the graphics driver. The message says something, live events of kernel
The core services are required by other parts of the operating system as for example graphics card driver.

In this case I recommend updating the graphics driver. According to you, this message an Intel GPU. So you can see the Intel page for the driver for the graphics chip compatible.

    With regard to the key issue of the FN;
The Toshiba FlashCard utility controls the key features of the FN. I read in this forum that this application does not smoothly run and in some cases it causes some issues. The new update should solve the problems. You should check the Toshiba driver page. The utility of FlashCard is a part of the Toshiba value added package.

    So finally a tip more:
You should always check the updates of Vista on the Microsoft page. This operating system is not perfect and Microsoft releases hotfixes and patches very often

I hope that it would help a little.

If necessary just ask for more information :)

iMovie and iLife and iworks Apps are free with the purchase of a new device.

Since Apple is no longer selling the iPhone 5 s, she cannot be considered more for free apps.

However, just to be safe, disconnect you from the iTunes and App Stores-> Apple ID in the settings on the new iPhone 5 s, then reset the iPhone in now the home and power buttons together for 10 to 15 seconds. Let the iPhone reboot and then sign in with your Apple ID in iTunes and the App Store and try to get the Apps again.

  • Laptop is not repairable, so I got a brand new

    With all due respect,.

I have a dilemma on my upgrade from windows 7 Home premium.
Well, I bought a laptop brand new in January 2010. His pre installed OS is Windows Vista Home Premium.
I got the coupon for the upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium, and I bought the upgrade. Suddenly my laptop stopped working at the end of July (2011). It is under warranty and the service took my laptop. After a long time they told me it could not be repaired and they offered me a new laptop, the same model. But this model has Windows Vista Home Premium and I want to have Windows 7 again... I bought this laptop because there is an option to update. It is not my fault to not be repaired. So now my question is: what can I do now?

Can I use the same disc for the upgrade, because the model is the same. And what to do now when this new serial number will not be the same thing?

Please help me what to do... I was not blamed for the crash from laptop to the title of the warranty period. I just wanted to have Toshiba again. And now I'm worried what to do...
Thank you very much for your support and your time.

    Yours faithfully,
    Ann

    Hello Ann

Of course, you can use this disk to upgrade. you have the same machine that one use this old drive and install the upgrade on the same way as on the old machine.

  • Brand new MacBook Pro to wake up from sleep

My brand new 15 inch MacBook Pro wakes up not sleep if left for a period of time.

If I shake the mouse or press a key, the keyboard will wake up and turn on if it's dark, I see a cursor on the screen but the screen remains black. Sometimes the beachball runs but the screen never lights up unless I do a force quit.

I understand with El Capitan, you must rely on the power switch to wake up from a deep sleep, but unless I hold it long enough to do a force quit and restart, I can't wake the computer. I use version 10.11.2

    Someone else has this problem?

    Thank you

If you bought the Apple MBP, not a reseller, you can return the MBP for an Exchange or refund within 14 days of the date of purchase.  Otherwise, I suggest you have the MBP valued at an Apple store genius bar and repaired if necessary under the provisions of the warranty.

    Ciao.

  • HP Envy 15 t-as000: brand new HP Envy w / SSD: "Boot Device not found".

    Hello

I have a brand new (less than 1 week) HP Envy 15 t-as000 w / a 256 GB SSD.  After the impeccable behavior for 1 week, the laptop can be started is no longer.  No boot device is detected.  If I try to run a diagnostic on the hard disk, the BIOS I was informed that it can not detect even a current hard drive (see image)

I don't know what happened.  I'm very careful with my machines.  He has not been abandoned. It has not been dropped on, or taken any sort of somehow.  I just pressed the power button one day (yesterday) and I see this:

Thanks for the tips. I followed your recommendations and sent the laptop to HP for replacement (I bought this unit directly to the output from the HP website).

However, I am frustrated because after all taxes and transportation costs, I had to pay an additional amount of $10.  The total general of the replacement order was $739,79 against $730,90 for the original purchase.  Why am I penalized $ 10 ($8,89 to be exact) for a mistake that was not even my fault?

Also, I had to pay $24,83 FedEx packaging to send the laptop back.  How was I supposed to know I should have brought the Moose with me to Seattle, WA in Ithaca, NY packaging because the SSD was going to fail in my college dorm?

So in the end, my HP Envy $730,90 now goes to the identical replacement of cost unit $739,79 + packaging from FedEx $24,83 phone = $ 764,62.

Bottom line: screw - up HP cost me $33,72!  Not the end of the world but still a ringing sound nice when you're not yet a career with a cushy salary of mickael elite.

  • MASTERED OPTION IS GRAYED OUT WHEN YOU TRY TO BURN A HOME PC PREM BRAND NEW VIRGIN DVD + R ON VISTA 32-BIT

Due to virus I had to rebuild PC using the RECOVERY partition on hard drive. All windows updates have been applied to date (August 2011). Before the virus problem (July 2011) WAS able TO SELECT THE "MASTERED" OPTION WHEN YOU are GOING to USE WINDOWS TO BURN a VIRGIN DVD + r. NEW once AGAIN, this WORKED BEFORE, NOW THE MASTER OPTION IS GRAYED OUT.  I have a brand new DVD + R blank and tried several of them thinking it was the disk (I've used this same brand (magnavox) DVD + R 4 years now never this problem of the "controlled" option is grayed out.) I use the same DVD burner which came with the PC and it allowed me to select the option "Mastered" last month (July 2011). I am using Windows HomePrem 32-bit OS (originial system that came with PC and this allowed me to select the mastered option last month. I applied all the updates Win at present. I have no other problems with the PC. Once again, driving the nail: this WORKED BEFORE, last month on the exact same hardware and the software/OS (Juillet2011), then why this option appears GRAYED out now?  This question has been asked before and 'experts' simply stressed totally USELESS MS pages showing how to select either under control or direct - I DO NOT NEED THIS HELP as I ALREADY KNOW HOW TO SELECT either option and what each is for. • Alienware 15 - R2, brand new, AGA, after power cord

    Hi all

I just got last Friday my brand new Alienware 15 - R2 with AGA (Alienware graphics amplifier) and GTX 1070. All the work perfect, except the food. For some reason any after brick power play is connected after a few hours just unplug its self. Plug is still connected to the computer laptop but is jump light blue on the cord and laptop said to use more performance please plug power adapter when the adapter is connected.

For now the only solution is to unplug and plug it in again and the light and laptop power is back, could someone help? BIOS has been updated twice and is more recent, I swapped the power cable from the amplifier and did not help.

    UPDATE:

I found that I can play so long and everything seems to be ok until what I stopped game, power cord loses all power (the blue led turns off) and to get the power back to my power brick, I need to plug out and plug it into the wall.

OK, so the problem was solved when I replaced power :-) run all day on the new power brick and no problem.

  • updates to Windows 8 on brand new computer

    Hello

I just unpacked a brand new Acer Aspire.  I understand that it is preloaded with 8 64-bit windows.  The windows store said I could upgrade to windows 8.1 but I should update windows 8 first. I changed the settings, update manually and searched the updates of windows 8 that were a little more than 100. I asked to install 87failed them, but about.  I could get on the desktop and the glance at the history of the update - clearly says update failed.  Tried troubleshooting windows update which said it corrects a problem with admin rights and tried again.  Same result - impossible to download anything, just stuck on the download screen.  Searched your forums and have now tried a system restore before the effort to update at all.  I'm a little afraid of what to do then - seems like my brand new computer is screwed up in 4 hours!   Grateful for the advice...

System a i5 processor, 500 GB hard drive... Seems to have McAfee on this too - have not disabled because it would be on automatic updates.  The only thing I did on this topic before you try the updates was to set up my windows account (I have already one and if it was just a matter of putting on this computer that worked)

Please see "answer" below for more information - do not seem to be able to edit this post until I had posted a response...?

    Hello

You only really need the KB2871389 update... Upgrade to Win 8.1 will take care of the rest...

BTW... Be sure to create some Recovery\Reinstallation support that is available on your machine...

Once you go to 8.1 win the built-in functionality your machine to FACTORY Recover\Restore most likely will not work...

Since you already had to do a system restore, you may just want to factory restore now, but burn the media first... Then you will start fresh.

Also... more pre-installed OS are the original version, so the more you buy a machine after the first version you can expect to need updates for each month that goes by...

Once a Service Pack is released the latest machines can have, and update the counter starts again.

8.1 win is not called a Service Pack, but it's basically the same thing...

One more thing... it is a very bad idea to try to install 100 updates at a time. It should work, but in reality, it is a disaster to delay... Especially when the .net Framework updates are in the mix...

Do first in groups of the same version and let your CPU usage back to 0%, before doing anything.

Don't even make a required reboot until it happens. There is a background installation that spans a long time after their installation that same Windows Update says that they are finished. They are not
