BRIDGE OF TMS UTILIZATION REPORT

I'm in TMS 15.1.0 on windows 2008R2 and SQL 2008R2...

I am trying to execute the report use of Bridge.

Just get the whirlwind of JAVA and make nothing.

Other reports works well...?

Any ideas. ???

I found that this report is very sensitive to the versions of Navigator and Java.  Make sure that you run recent versions of both.  I had better luck with Firefox than with IE.  Also had better luck by running it on the server itself to distance.

  • VM CPU utilization report

I would like to take a base line that indicates the average CPU used for virtual machines over a period of time - I ran reports that list the CPU/memory, etc, but can't seem to find one that really delivers what I need. Can anyone recommend one that will work for this, or is he a good custom option to go with? Thank you.

    Hello

Don't know if you've tried the report model ' use of Virtual Machines - retail ", which gives CPU used Hz, CPU % ready, memory consumption, the growth rate of disk, the disk transfer rate and network transfer rate for the specified time interval.

If you want to try a custom option:

Go reporting (you can find this in the drop down of reports which is located next to the beach of time on the top on the web console)

    1. According to build a report:
Select the option use all data-> click on finish
Expand Vmware-> Virtual Machines-> select/highlight all of the virtual machine
Discover styles: go for the metric view

    2. click on next

    3. expand CPU-> CPU host-> check the box used Hz & click Finish.

  • Dial stored in TMS detail report

    Hi all

I'm looking for a way to export a CDR stored in TMS: I think that TMS does not export CDRs as XML, right?

In any case, I know that TMS database records the data traffic generated by GST: TMS database looking I found table filled with data and useful information of COR, but now I would like to know:

    (1) procedure and the modality used by TMS to fill the table (that is to say, real time, twice daily, every 60 minutes, every 30 minutes...)

    (2) as GST stores in its memory up to 2000 files (Ref. < cisco_telepresence="" server="" api-cdr=""> ), and the following data crushes records, are given on the table too crushed DB TMS or added?

    Thanks in advance

I think TMS doesn't export CDRs in XML form, right?

    Fix.

Anyway I know that TMS DataBase records traffic data generated by TPS: looking at TMS DataBase I found table filled with CDR useful informations and datas, but now I would like to know:

Please do not build business critical applications running on the database of MSDS that the database schema can change in future versions without notice. Consider yourself warned!

    1) procedure and modality used by TMS for populating the table (ie real time, one time in a day, every 60 minutes, every 30 minutes...)

For the telepresence server: TMS builds a CDR in seconds from when the TS informed TMS that the Conference is disconnected.

For the MCU of telepresence: microcontrollers, new CDRs are collected every 60 seconds.

    2) As TPS stores in its memory up to 2000 records (ref. < cisco_TelePresence Server API-CDR>), and the following data overwrites records, are datas on TMS DB table overwritten too or appended?

No data is never overwritten, unless the administrator chooses explicitly to purge data from the historic call.

  • Report the user in Question TMS Cisco CDR

    Hello

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I know that you can run the RDC in Cisco TMS user report, however, that draws its stats for all users within TMS. Is there a way to group users in a model may be to only run the report on these users?

    Thank you!

    Hello Mike.

It is not possible to the users group when you run the CDR of the user report, it appears that all users.  The only option I see, you can do this, is to export the report to an Excel spreadsheet and manually group users as you want.

If this is something you would like to see, you can contact your Cisco account manager and ask them to create a feature request for you.  However, with most devices that this report is based on (ie: video Jabber for TelePresence, EX60/90, E20), most to soon be EOS if not already, I doubt that they incorporate such an improvement.

  • VCS StarerPack + MSD - reports

    Hello

Customer a VCS Starter Pack + TMS for the management.

I know that VCS Starter Pack more than TMS does not support the report files. He don't suport. not all reports of type or kind of reports?

Custome really want to get TMS reports, what can I do to fix this?

    Thank you

I never tried to add a starter pack to TMS, just out of curiosity, have you tried it?

I would say that it needs to be upgraded to a full VCS - E + Movi to do this.

    (at least the documentation given).

If he has managed in TMS end points at least the call Info

but you will not have the movi stats (which are not so good in the TMS standard reports in any case)

and anything else related to the VCS-CDRs.

  • PS CS5 64-bit, but the bridge is 32 bit? Is this normal?

Photoshop itself is and has always been very robust, but bridge gets fussy sometimes, reports lack of memory or simply suspended, and when it crashes it really hangs... Today, he did not, and so I went in (Win 7 Pro 64-bit) Task Manager to end the process. In other words, I noticed is listed as a 32-bit (Photoshop.exe is not). Is this normal? Seems strange to me.

    TIA,

Yes. Bridge is still 32 bits for maximum compatibility with other programs that use it (which extends well beyond the PS).

  • No CDR MCU logs on MSDS

    Hey cisco-ster!

I have 2 simple questions about interoperability TMS (14.3.2).

    (1) when it comes to Reporting-call detail Records-MCU, I couldn't see all the folders on the chart.

Even if the MCU is properly registered on MCU (4.1), the records do not show on this page. Also, I could see the proceedings of each saved settings.

    (2) with the logs of packet loss on the MSDS report category, I couldn't see newspapers of the MXP endpoint C-series (TC6).

I missed some configuration? or both work as designed?

I'd appreciate a response to this topic!

    Thank you

MCU software 4.1 is quite old (2010?), so we haven't tested it systematically with TMS 14.3.2. Would upgrading to 4.4 be an option?

I've done some research more and asynchronous bridge of TMS CDR mechanism requires MCU 4.2 and later. I highly recommend upgrading your software MCU.

If upgrading is not an option, check that the receiver of the feedback is set that correctly on the MCU and then create a network trace to watch how TMS responds to feedback. TMS always responds with a 200 OK? Whatever it be recorded in the log-web - TMS public.txt?

  • the user of the simultaneous listing licenses

    Hello

We have 5 tiara concurrent license. Now is mounted in use and I find myself being frequent "who uses licenses" so as to address users who may have checked out a license but are not needing more. Or not as desperately as another user.

I tried to read the log file, but it contains a long list of mixed entries. Screening on the licenses that have been checked, but not yet once, it is almost impossible.

Y at - it a simple method to see the users or IP addresses or computer names are at this time using the licenses?

In addition, a monitor of operating time would be of great help to decide if and how many new licenses.

    Thank you.

    Michael

    Hi Michael,

You use Volume License Manager OR? NEITHER Volume License Manager 3.1 was released recently and it has some new features that will help you answer such questions.

We have improved the ability of the administrator to see which licenses are used with the new tab in use:

This gives you a clear vision of the common use for each license. In order to obtain the most recent data, you can click the button reload.

We have also added 3.1 VLM reports. Seat utilization reports are designed to answer your question of how many new licenses to acquire.

This screenshot shows the use of licensed competitor of tiara more than a year. The report will indicate how many licenses were in use and display how many users have been denied. This information will help you determine how many licenses you need.

If you already use VLM 3.0, you can Download NI VLM 3.1 and use your existing license file. If you are using an older version of VLM or FlexNet Publisher, contact [email protected] and let them know that you need a new license file.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions!

  • Tandberg Codian MSE supervisor - continues to lose network response

    Hello

I have e-mail notifications setup on MSDS to tell me when my MSE loses network response. In this case every hour during the day for about one minute. Where can I start to do troubleshooting to understand why my MSE will lose all chance connection.

The current software on MSE: 2.3 (1.46)

    Concerning

What TMS version are you running?

There is the possibility that the TMS incorrectly reports that the MMS is not there.

There is a bug with some of the releases of TMS14.x where he seems hurt some devices as offline, or with incorrect credentials.

I think of my old emails, as the upgrade to TMS15.0 solved the problem.

We have not seen this kind of problem recently (with TMS15 +) where we used to get quite frequently in the TMS14.

  • Differentiate the rooms of Codecs

Is it possible from a planning perspective to differentiate the rooms of codecs? Scenario is that there will be a pool of 15 available codecs (SX80s) and 20 + rooms.  Can dynamically plan us a room and based on the play, the number of appropriate codecs are allocated for the room. Some parts require more than 1 codec based on the size of the room. Preference is given to specific rooms in the event of a conflict of resources planning.

Codecs will be in a location centralize a 3rd party router video will manage the delivery of the video (like a kvm switch).

    Thank you

Ok. I'll tell you about it:

-First of all, you need to add a bridge to TMS, in your case, conductor. You must configure the driver on MSDS to limit the number of ports available to 15 video.
-Save all your meeting rooms for MSDS and make them available for planning for end users. When I say 'Save', I mean that you must add to the TMS as not managed using false information numbering system. In addition, if the room is large and requires more than 2 SX80s, you should save this piece twice using very similar names, for example: VC-BR-room-15 (room) and VC-BR-room-15 (video).

-Save all your SX80 to MSDS and NOT make them available to end users plan (you can do this by changing the permission settings). It is only for the purpose of the management

-Change the global setting of Type Conference of TMS to "manual connection. At a conference with the type "Manual connection" is scheduled on the TMS, TMS will implement resources multipoint for this conference, however, he will not try to automatically connect the selected participants.

-Configure TMS to use a driver like default MCU and always include MCU when for routing

-Give users to specific instructions for planning the Conference on MSDS. They must schedule a conference by using the 'Manual login' type, which will be the default value. They must also choose rooms twice (for parts requiring 2 SX80s, for example).

-Once the user has made the programming, a technical team must receive the numbering information generated by TMS (usually virtual room number and PIN), as they take the codecs for the rooms and dial in the virtual room of the Telepresence server manually. To do this, you can simply create an email account for MSDS and configure TMS to work with event notifications, allowing some TMS send e-mail notification to administrators and users with details of planning.

With this 'poor' workaround, TMS will always use the server TP for conference resources, even for the point to point those. Therefore, users cannot program more than 15 rooms (including duplicate), which corresponds to the total number of SX80 available codecs.

Before you start thinking that this may seem a "working" solution, you must consider that we are only dealing with the planning perspective, there are many other things to consider, such as the layout of rooms, conference layout, audio loop (you have 2 sets of audio devices (microphones and speakers) where you have 2 SX80) etc.

Personally, I don't like the idea of having more than 1 codec in the same room. You'd better develop capacity audio and video using third-party equipment.

Finally, once more, consider MSDS is not a product designed for this purpose, and that is why I would never want to sugget allowing you to run this workaround in a production environment.

  • Lightroom sends images to Photoshop with incorrect orientation?

I'm new to Lightroom. I'm used to the use of bridge. In this report, guidance, that I used in bridge is blocked to Photoshop. Now with Lightroom, I directed my images individually. But (using the menu option ' Photo > edit in > Edit original ") Photoshop is not open them in the direction that I've used in Lightroom. In addition, when I save the Photoshop file, it is redirected incorrectly in Lightroom. So I had to reorient photos 3 times. Is there a better way? I guide my images in Lightroom, because typing is quick and can be applied to multiple images.

When you change the orientation of the image in Adobe Bridge, the new orientation is automatically written in EXIF "Orientation" field tag file. When you change the orientation of the image in LR data EXIF of the original file are not automatically updated. After you change the orientation of the image (s) in LR use the keys CTRL + S keys to write the change in the EXIF data for the file. You can modify several files at once by selecting all of them and then using CTRL + S keys. Policy changes will now be seen in Adobe Bridge and Psalm

  • Reports on the TMS - network packet loss

    Hello world

I'm seeing packet loss reports in TMS, but there is no info here.

My network is: VCS 7.0.2 movi, c20 and ex60 registered (SIP) as well as a TMS 13.1.2.

The vcs is a starter pack and the TMS is the demo version. I first registered endpoint of the vcs and then added the TMS to the network. I have the endpoints addition and vcs to TMS. In TMS, I see the endpoints and the news on their topic, but unfortunately no information in the report of packet loss. I made a call between movi and c20 with packet loss, but no info has been shown in the report.

I am very new to the TMS, and I wonder if there is something I should be doing in order to make endpoints send info packet loss to TMS.

I sshed in endpoints and I can see the info on packet loss and jitter through the api.

Described above is my test network on which I can make prety much all about. I also have the same problem (this time with EX60 endpoints, control VCS and TMS) on a network of clients and on this network that I really need this job.

Any help would be appreciated. Form what I read end points to send this info by HTTP to MSDS. Am I wrong?

    Thank you for your help.

    Hello

Endpoint to send your comments to tms on http Yes. I'm not at the office and this cannot be verified at the moment, but I don't know if devices running software like c-series and ex support tc this packetloss reports, I know the MXP legacy for this. If anyone can check it out that would be great. If this isn't the case, I will check it tomorrow.

At least, you can check that endpoints send your comments to the tms at all looking at the system in the browser tab newspapers.

Check the trap logs. If you see connect and disconnect traps here, feedback should work.

  • Change of dial in number of TMS for video bridge

A user request that the wheel (SIP) number of their session video bridge be a specific number.  After you create the meeting, you can go to the TMS conference settings and change the number.  However, it is not actually change.  The number he has been created with is the single dial that will work.  You can go to the MCU and change there, but it shows that the meetings which are currently spend.  This specific meeting is recurring and not for a few days.

I was curious to know if there is something missing with TMS, that it is not passing the new number to the MCU correctly.  Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you

As much as I know there is no way to change a conference number in TMS yourself to MSDS to connect endpoints specifically to something you want.  I tried and got the same results as you, TMS will always use all that it automatically generated for the road.
