  You are right. both models have different LCD displays but the same graphics card. I can't say for sure, but I'm sure you can use the HD screen + with your laptop.

  I have a replacement screen, but not sure how to go abouts it change places.

  Someone at - it a service manual for this model or the tricks and tips on how to disassemble the unit to swap the LCD broke with a new one?

  The service manual can be downloaded. It s not for the public and it s only for Toshiba and approved providers available I think.
  On the Toshiba site, you can download the user manual, but I doubt it would be useful for you.

  I think the best way would be if you go to an authorized service provider. The exchange of the LCD is a little tricky and you should have experience with this.
  On the Toshiba site, you can search for an ASP. I m sure that the technicians will help you. ;)

  No it will not damage anything else as long as you do not let moisture touch the screen or damage it more.

  Do a search on Google or Bing for touch digitizer of replacement for HP Slate 7 2801 to find an online provider of a touch digitizer replacement.  Otherwise, you can contact HP to arrange to have done, at a cost, because it was customer induced (inadvertently or otherwise) of damage. You can find screens for about $ $50,00 if you're looking for with sufficient diligence.  You will need a tool thin spudger to replace the touch digitizer and adhesive strips to hold it in place. There are tutorials on the web that show how this is done, but you will have to search for them.

  Compatible LCD display can be bought from the ASP in your country.
  The Toshiba authorized service partner can provide the entire sets out measures LCD is supported.

  But note; the new LCD screen is not cheap the screen is one of the expensive parts laptop ;(

  to be honest, it is quite expensive to replace laptop Lcd as a motherboard. Before I had a laptop with LCD broken and used the external monitor connected. You should contact Asp to get qualified service.

  I recently bought my wife an refurbished 14 "Probook 6455 b.  She began to process RAW image files and necessary additional processing power on a much slower netbook that has served us well for the last few years.  I added some updates to the probook (8 Gb of RAM and an older SSD) and thought it was perfect, until my wife tries to display his photos on the matte screen of 1366 x 768.  Office equipment became one of my passions over the past 15 years and I am very comfortable with it.  Laptops however do not know as well as my experience of office has made learning much easier.

  I started looking for a brilliant replacement and came across a website that list shiny and Matt in 1366 x 768 and 1600 x 900.  I went and downloaded the manual for the 6455 b online and of course, it lists a 1600 x 900 available screen.  The LCD site cautions, however, to get a different resolution that your model came with.  I know the 4250 HD would have no problem with this resolution, but as I did the research more distance there was other stuff that is up - correct display cables, correct pinout, etc..  As best as I can see, there is only one cable for screens of 14 '' HD or HD +.  Everything looks like a go, but am I missing something?  I tell myself that if I open the thing to install a new glossy LCD screen, why not upgrade to a higher resolution, one at the same time?

  Better I would say you are right. 6455 b was offered with a range of 1600 x 900 in option and there is only one view cable so you have to work on either 1366 x 768 or 1600 x 900 Panel.

  To be sure, HP offers the whole kit and the shebang as a replaceable part, but if you are like me you are looking to get the best possible deal on a Panel.

  the LCD for my Qosmio F55-Q502 cracked and I ordered the same room and when I installed it, everything works fine and everything but the brightness up and down are reversed. As Fn + F6 makes more brilliant while Fn + F7 makes it more dark? The first that comes with it is a lp154wp1 (tl) (e1) but I had is a lp154wp1 (tl) d1).

  Does anyone think that the bit of a variation of the model can do reverse controls? Even on Windows when you cursor to the right BRIGHTNESS, it darkens and to the left, it illuminates. For anyone else who needs information on their Qosmio F55, the original is also a lp154wp1 (tl) (e1) and also known under the name of lp154wp1 (tl) (a3) which is written on the Board of the lcd screen. The replacement lp154wp1 (tl) (d1) is also known as a lp154wp1 (tl) (a2) also wrote on the lcd dashboard

  Where you have ordered the new view and it are a Toshiba original spare part?

  If yes I would contact an authorised service dealer or the store where you bought it. In my opinion the screen is not 100% compatible for your model. This would also explain the different reference numbers you posted

  I think so. If you compare your L500 with other models (different number of PSxxxx) the difference is available from hardware such as CPU, GPU, ability to drive HARD, perhaps, ports, but in general, the LCD is always the same.

  I'm really skeptical that someone can offer you here is specific information on compatible screens especially on any screen compatible Glossary for your laptop model. The page you found is very good. On the Internet you can find a lot of them. Be 100% sure that you buy the right one.

  I am not a technician, but I see no reason for the improvement of the system because of the new LCD. If the dealer offer a compatible display I see no reason why you should not believe them.
