• Animation Flash in model will not play

  I built a site using Dreamweaver 8 that is based on a template. I made some changes to the model, and each has been integrated into all pages created from the template. However, when I inserted a Flash animation in the template, it will not play on the pages. I checked to see if "autoplay" has been selected, and it was. I played the movie from the model in design mode and it went well. I made a new page and inserted the movie on the page, without going through the model, and he played.   When you insert a flash .swf file in a model, use a SITE ROOT RELATIVE
  PATH. Look for the drop-down menu in the dialog "Browse to the file.

• iPod will not play songs

  Hey now good people!

  I have an iPod classic, 160 gb. Until very recently, I had no problem with my music playing on it, but now it won't play some songs. What I've done so far:

  -It is a PC brand new that I just built in recent weeks. There win 10 Pro. The OS and iTunes are up-to-date

  -The songs play fine in iTunes

  -J' did a reset of the iPod

  -J' have wiped off the iPod and started fresh

  I just finished wiping and synchronization. The same songs are the ones that still will not play. In addition, I have a couple of new songs, you just bought in the last few days I have to say sometimes the iPod to play twice before the song, it will play.

  I'm really confused as to why this is happening. Anyone encountered this and did you solve it?

• Pavilion 500 - 205t: new Blurays will not play, older Blurays will be. Why?

  I bought your desktop of Windows 7 HP custom year last with a built-in Blu - Ray disc/drive. The player is CyberLink PowerDVD 10. A whole new movie bluray (2015) will not play because PowerDVD wants to update, but there is no update available through the recommended procedure. CyberLink said to check with HP.

  My oldest blurays (2013 and older) work very well. I don't need fancy features, I just want to watch my new bluray on my computer. I'm guessing that there is a new coding on the blurays newer that it prevents play on an older player, but what are the options I have to solve this problem?

  It is disappointing that less than a year after that HP gave me 10 PowerDVD pre-loaded, he won't play a new bluray. And on top of that, there is already a 15 PowerDVD!   If you use a DVD - RW disk... you could try a DVD-R, but some DVD players
  will not play a home made DVD... not much you can do about it.

  As an experience... you could try the following freeware to burn a video DVD
  recorded with your file to .wmv Movie Maker.

• MP4 from After Effects will not play on iPad Air

  I have a series of videos mp4 - some are exported from creation, others, After Effects - CS6 Win7 x 64.

  They all play in iTunes, but EI videos will not play on the iPad.  Even when I sync them iPad identifies as unplayable.

  There are 1 million different things that could be the problem with the settings of your MP4.  You will need to display all parameters of compression for anyone of property assess the problem.

  The simplest solution and one that will give you a better quality of video in any case, is to use Adobe Media Encoder to make your cuts, rather than After effects.  There iPad presets built right, too.

  For some reason any incorporated flash animations will not play in CP 5.5 they play perfectly fine in preview mode of a slide in CP (F3), but will not play when I publish the project or get a glimpse of the output using F4.

  Flash animations are of different versions of Flash (3 CS, CS 4 and CS 5), and some use AS 2.0, some AS 3.0. The problem is valid for all .swf files

  Does anyone have an idea? This is starting to drive me crazy...

  New to Dreamweaver

  Your code is a mess.  Missing a valid document type declaration, HTML, HEAD and BODY tags.   We'll start over with a fresh HTML document.

  (1) assume that you have successfully defined a local site folder.  If this isn't the case, you must do this essential first step before creating pages on the site.

  (2) file > new > Basic Page > HTML.

  (3) insert > media > Flash Video > progressive download.

  (4) find the FLV file in your Local Site folder.

  (5) choose a skin (the player controls).

  6) click OK.

  (7) save the page under "some - page.html.

  (8) download your web page Scripts, SWF and FLV files to a remote server to test.
