  1. have you installed any third-party DVD burning software on the computer?
  2. could you give us the exact error message?

  Method 1.
  If you have installed a third-party software CD burning remove it and then try to burn the disc and check. Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a coward
  cable or slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.

  Method 2.
  a. Click Start and type cmd into the search bar and press ENTER.
  b. in the type guest following command press ENTER.
     WMP.dll regsvr32.exe.
  c. close the command prompt and start Windows Media Player and check.

  Method 3.

  You can re-create the database of Windows Media Player and see if that fixes the problem.

  Stage i: To resolve this problem, delete the Windows Media Player database. To do this, follow these steps:

  a. exit Windows Media Player.
  b. Click Start, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player and then click OK.
  c. Select all files in the folder and then click on Delete on the file menu.

The film came out great but when I go to 'release', or burn to dvd, it says Windows Movie Maker will save file and open it in creation of DVD to burn/publish.  About halfway through the movie, there is no 8 mm video, you can see all the titles, and hear the music that I edited in but no video.  I cut the video in half thinking there was too much data, I burned my movie with no other programs running, I changed all the transitions and titles in thinking that you might have a glitch.  I have burned about 10 films try something different each time without success. Help!

  I recently burned music CD blank so I can enjoy some songs in the car. After that a few discs engraved with success, I received the message "Windows Media Player encountered an error when burning. Check that the burner is connected properly and that the disc is clean and not damaged"when trying to burn audio. To see if it was the m drive, I tried to burn audio files to four separate discs and each of them had the error message. The discs are brand new and have no information on them. I do something wrong or is my burner disconnected? Thanks for all your help and your support! I hope that we can find the cause of this problem so I can continue to make the CDs.

  Lee - there are a number of possibilities. First of all, it depends whether you burn audio disks or data - if they are audio discs, you can check and rearrange the order of songs in the burn list - if necessary - before you start burning. If you drag multiple files to the burn list quite often the last track you clicked on will go upward, so I wonder if it is what can happen.   I'm sorry but it is not possible to download Adobe CC and burn it to a DVD and then transfer it.

  Only, it downloads a small setup file and on executions of this entire process of download, extraction & installation file begins that requires the internet connection. At the end of the process of the application is installed and ready to use.

  So, you will need to do it on your computer.
