C4599 printer crashes

I bought my printer C4599 from Best Buy, the end of October. It works fine on my wireless network, but after a day or so of non-use that it will lock upward and the only way I can get it unlocked is to unplug the power. Is it his problem as a software or a hardware problem? How can I solve this problem.

The Hewlett-Packard Company released an updated firmware for the problem which occurs on the Photosmart series C4500 and Photosmart C4400 series. Updates are currently available for use on the Windows operating system.

The following links can be used to find the software for the two affected products.

    I'm on Win7 64-bit

    The product firmware is 20120629
    I tried the PCL5 and PCL6 drivers.

    ErrorMsg "AutoCAD has stopped working - a problem caused blocking the program working properly."

    Printing from other software works (e.g. Acrobat Reader) very well.
    Print to other printers (e.g. OfficeJet K7100) works very well.

    It turns out that when I first tried the PCL5 driver it actually updates itself to PCL6.

    So I got my LaserJet m1536 work with AutoCAD 2012LT (64-bit) and PCL5 as follows:

    (1) Add/Remove programs-> remove the HP Laserjet 1530 series
    (2) download drivers PCL5 -> unpack and install-> choose "dynamically select printer"-> finish
    (3) print a page and failed of selection screen printer "to add this printer to my devices.
    (4) install the CD printing software
    (5) printer PCL6 to remove your devices

    At this point, I had work printer and scanner as well!

    Hi foberg,

    Looks like you have some problems with the operating system installed on this computer. Try the following steps to see if that helps.

    Windows 7 and Windows Vista allows you to have multiple users share the same computer under their own individual accounts. This allows each user to have their own location on the computer where they can store their personal documents, photos, videos, saved games and other personal data. It also allows the owner of the computer assign some accounts the ability to perform administrative tasks such as installing software, while limiting the capabilities of the other user.

    This tutorial will guide you in creating a new account in Windows 7 and Windows Vista.

    1. Click the Start button. It's the small round button () in the lower left corner of your screen that has a Windows flag on it.
    2. Click on the Control Panel menu option.
    3. When Control Panel opens, you will see a screen similar to Figure 1 below.

    Re: C4599, error-print wireless unable to "communicate" with the device?

    Of course, we can set a static IP address (actually, we will reserve an IP address - even better).  But first, please indicate the post helped you to solve the problem as "acceptable Solution".

    To connect to the wireless router by typing the IP address of the router wireless in the field the address of your browser, then click on enter. 192.168.1.1 is the default IP of the wireless router. The wireless router prompts you for the user name "admin" and the password. The default password is "password".

    See the procedure on page 8-16 of this <> http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/forums/replypage/board-id/Networking/message-id/NetGear%20 "RangeMax" % 20... > document to the reserve and the IP address of your printer.
    You will need the MAC address of your printer (it is on the Page of Config network you have printed from the front panel of the printer).

    (Although I am employed by HP, I speak for myself and not for the HP)
    Original posters - please state the position that solved your problem as "acceptable Solution".

    Thanks again for your help!
    AKM (XPproSP-3, 7 - IE, Office2003)

    You could, but my point is that another device must have issued the 192.168.0.X.  What was it?

    You could get the MAC address of the printer and set a static IP address (192.168.1.X - make sure that X is outside the DHCP range) for it in the router and see if it connects.

    I'm sure something is happening here, though.

  • CP 1518ni printer crash since HP software update using OS 10.7.4 (Lion)

    I did the usual update through software update for HP printers.

    The first impression I tried crashed once but then printed.

    Since then, I can't print Pages or other programs. Programs to plant about 20 seconds after hitting the impression. I restarted the printer.

    I use a fully updated Macbook pro, OS 10.7.4.

    Good news! My printer now prints!

    As I indicated above, I had an appointment on another case with Apple Genius Bar. When I checked I let them know that I had a second element that requires special attention.

    We looked at all the posts on this page. The tech said it sounded like a deeper problem in the operating system, while I had a complete to the top of my hard drive he recommended do us a cleaning and a reinstall of the OS (stay with 10.7.4 Lion). When I returned home, I used my Time Machine backup to restore everything EXCEPT such settings as recommended by the technology.

    I then tried to print a document. Asked me if I wanted to download the drivers. I said yes and 20 minutes later, I feel! I should note that the format of screenshot has been back to the original style (which was my preference).

    Thanks for all your help. I hope this helps someone else who has this persistent problem.

    I can't find the problem. BEX and the displayed erorcode means something the DEP (Data Execution Prevention) is bad. But only for this printer.

    What I've tried so far:

    Remove printers

    Remove the printer package and driver through Printservermanagement

    Tried different drivers

    * Spooler reset (several times, through C:\Windows\system32\spool and registry entries)

    * Also tried two FixIts (Light and Full mode.) Only the Fullmode does not work as expected: it hangs about 90%?)

    * Because the problem is not specific to app (the application that sent the work, accidents, even if I just sent a test page via Explorer, then explorer.exe freezes :)) I don't see the problem in the original program, but I reinstalled it anyway.)

    * Removed manually from driverstore driver

    * Removed antivirus software

    * Reinstalled VC ++ and .NET (out of desperation, because I read something that displayed the error code has something to do with the VC ++ / .NET :)).

    * sfc/scannow without success

    * Installed COM-additional card through PCIe (like COM4): no change.

    I tried to do not (and don't want) to turn off DEP completely.

    Maybe some problems with the COM-management?

    Ideas? :-/

    EDIT: I tried new things:

    * msconfig: disabled all package services and startup items: no change. Between my multiple reboot and tent, the printer has worked 2 times. Next reboot: BEX-crash again... I can't imagine hwta will not...

    * Update the BIOS

    * Chipset update

    The TlsPcSpl.dll appears again caused the accident this tine with explorer.exe.

    Because the gdi32.dll appears on the battery make sure that the graphics drivers are updated.

    However, the printer driver may be the issue.

    honeydobee,

    There are readers that you can download for Windows 7. You can go to the link below to find:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?product=3757826&cc=us&LC=en&DLC=en&product=3757826&tmp_track_link=ot_search

    Below the download section is also a "Update" section with a download "HP Software Service Pack". I think this will help with the Windows 7 installation problem that you are experiencing.

  • Adobe PDF printer crashes when you paste into the file name field

    Hello, first off there is no similar problem with all freeware pdf printers so I want to remove my config system as being the culprit. This only happens in Adobe PDF format.

    How to reproduce the problem? Have something in your Clipboard and try to paste it into the file name field when you print the file in pdf format - you should have now crashed everything that you were trying to print and the program behind it.

    Please make a fix for this, it is ridiculous that I have to install a second, freeware, pdf printer because thousand dollar software does not work properly. And I've lost tons of recipes and work this way.

    Solution is not to copy and paste into the save box.

    I found that this happens in programs other than Thunderbird and the reason why the freeware application works is that you paste into the window of the application instead of Windows' save box.

The printer is connected to my local network (infrastructure mode) via WiFi and prints OK from various computers laptops (Win XP, Win Vista and Win 7) in the House. You suffer from one of the problems regarding the update of the firmware?

    I've actually found updates of the firmware available for your printer, only critical updates.

    Here is the update that I found:

    After that, the printer asks to reset and it restarts with wireless off.

    I have a cable modem with router wireless of my cable TV UPC provider called UPC Ubee EVW3226.

    I tried to connect the printer to the router using the WPS button and provide the password. In both cases, I have the same behavior.

    I have a dozen other wireless home devices that connect without problem to the router. But not the printer.

    Please let me know what other information will be good for you to solve the problem. Or, please provide a workaround solution.

    I found the solution:

    connect to your printer cable (you can use a direct eth between your computer and your printer cable), access the web interface and disable support IPv6 (let the IPv4 only verified): network > General > protocols > only IPv4 verified. Save and restart the printer.

    In 80% of cases, it will work on the wireless connection. For the other 20% when it does not work, try to assign a static IP address to your printer (network > Wireless > IPv4) in a second time. Take data from your router (IP, gateway, DNS).
