Thus, Win7 home 32 ethernet connected c7280.

easy solution, right? Uninstall, reboot, reinstall.

Will not be installed. has run the PS_AIO_02_Net_Full_Win_WW_130_140.exe, it reached the accept dialog box, Flash software updated and disappears.

new flash Adobe, Revo uninstaller, ccleaner, dot4patch, HP print and Scan doctor, all ran unsuccessfully

even deleted all the hp software, printers, etc deleted records of hp of the program files, no software in Add/Remove PROG, not good HP left.

Ant ideas? She needs really bad power run diagnostics and clean its jets of printer.

I can't install the Solutions Center on Windows 7 64 bit. Setup stops and says that I have USB hardware and driver problems. USB on my Tower is USB2 and USB3 ports. Everything works perfectly and the Windows Device Manager has no problem with USB drivers/devices.

    Hi @jedi11csa,

Thank you very much to get back again.

I just talked with a few colleagues in this regard, and this problem seems to be more a matter of Windows operating system, if the computer displays that USB related errors as well as the installation had not yet reached the point where it asks you to select your connection type.

Maybe it's an investigation that is best suited for community Microsoft Forums as my resources have been exhausted in this respect.

I hope that you are able to find the solution you need.

    Thank you.

  • HP Solution Center installation stops right - c309g-m - Win7 Ultimate 32-bit

I've lost countless hours trying to install the full version of the solution Center on my PC (32-bit) Windows 7 Ultimate HP recently renovated. Following other assignments here in the forums, I tried the following:

    * Desinstalle/reinstalle Adobe Flash & Adobe Reader (using the Internet Explorer browser, as it seems to make a difference acdording to other posts)

    * Set IE as my default browser (just in case the installer req if she had)

    * Cut my anti-virus application

    * Installed at the TIME the original CD (yes I still) as well as the full and current download from the HP C309g-m site. Reset when asked.

With the CD and downloaded version, the installer will by checking my system updates, and then it closes as soon as the updates download step appears. The installer just disappears.

I can get it to print, but ONLY because I am spent by adding printer in Windows and found on the CD. It was a separate exercise in itself that took me over a week to understand.

I NEED TO BE ABLE TO SCAN and I have an urgent need for her today! For whatever the device Panel won't let you scan from there - you must have the HP Solution Center. It worked fine until my system died and I had to get it rebuilt. I'm about to trash this * beep * thing and go out and buy a gun. :-(

Start the installation and follow the steps until the license agreement screen appears.
  • Installation of device HP Solution Center is not complete

I have a PhotoSmart C7280 all-in-one printer works as a printer in Ethernet network.  My PC is a HP Pavilion Slimline s5280t running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit.  I had the printer for longer that I had the Pavilion.  I use HP Solution Center at least once a month to copy documents in PDF format for a job that I have.  Yesterday, I tried to use it and got the error "device is not complete.  Uninstall and reinstall HP Solution Center did not work.  I did some research on the forums and found the discussion of «records starting with 7Z.»

I ran the Uninstall_L3.bat last night. He uninstalled everything.  I then downloaded the drivers on the HP site, once again. When I ran the installation, it failed because "a file is missing.  He has not said what file.  He created a 'solution' for me, basically going through all the steps to make sure that the printer and the router are working (they are) and the printer was on the network (IE).  I then downloaded the drivers AGAIN and again ONCE had a "missing file" error on installation.  And my printer has been uninstalled.  And I have a NEW suggestion from HP that I should reinstall after turning off all my startup tasks and reboot.

If the driver package for the C7280 is defective and right now I'd bet money that it's telling me to turn off my startup list, which has not changed in the month, will not help.  Because my printer is no longer under warranty (hey, my PC is out of warranty), I don't expect any help from HP.  I hope that some other users will be able to offer something that will work. I'm about to go back on the CD supplied with the printer and install from that.  Help?

Sorry, you had a difficult time getting the solution center to work.  You have certainly done all the basic steps and advanced to make this work.  I always keep a forum post stored on my computer that supports troubleshooting the solution at a different level of the Art Center.

-HP - SOLUTION Solution Center installation problems! --

I recommend reading this post to review the comments and see how to play the stages and how some problems are exposed.  Certainly, it treats missing files that you referenced.

I usually just scan using paint or Windows Fax and Scan as soon as I can print as it is just a little more easy to work in the registry of a HP computer.  So please be careful if you choose to go in the registry.

First thing first, I recommend you to create a different user account in the control panel with the admin rights, then by running the installation disk in the second user account before you attempt anything in the post on the forum above.  This will eliminate any conflict from previous attempts on the main user account.

I really hope it works for you!  Let me know error messages that you get when installing with the disc.

  • Cannot open the solution Center

I reinstalled my C4780 instructions and it works.  But I can't connect to the center of Solution; tells me that the installation is not complete.

    Hi Sandy,

    There are two options.

    • You can try to "Fix" the current Solution Center installation on your computer
    • You can try to install a new copy

A fix package from in programs and features (as it's named in Windows 7).  XP would be similar - the point is to find the place where stored programs; This is done by opening the control panel.

    Repair:

This path is for Windows 7 (XP would be simliar):

Control Panel > set to 'display on the icon' (right) > programs and features

Scroll down and look for "HP Solution Center".

    Highlight the item and right-click.

See if we offer the chance to 'Repair' installation.

If you are offered the option, select repair,

If you are offered only uninstall, you can go ahead and Uninstall the package because it does not...

Support and Installation of the solution Center:

This is the help file for the Solution Center.  That it contains, you will find the information that you need to reinstall the software.  Select this option to download the software when you find the option to do so under your operating system.

HP printers - HP Solution Center Software frequently asked Questions (FAQ)

The Solution Center software is part of the largest "full software functionality" for your printer.  Most of the printers work fine without the "Full Feature" installed package, even if some of the additional features may be missing.   The full feature software may (or may not) be installed on your printer.

Be aware that some of the packages of full software functionality for printers are large - if you have limited bandwidth (slow internet connection), make sure you load your package installer with you do not have something else which requires a lot of resources of your internet connection.  (Do this when you do nothing else, please be patient.)

Full feature Software - Windows 8.x and higher:

  • Solution Center does not file for analysis

Under Win 7 solutions Center installs normally, run analyses normally, but then fails to create scanning files.  It is running AIO for a C6180 on a HP7700 Office.  The C6180 is interfaced via the USB port.  What is going on?

HP have created a new workaround solution to make it easier to solve this problem.

  • Ultimately it is there no response why C7280 cannot re - install with Solution Center.

Student/XP Home Edition / professional programs

    Service Pak 3

Toshiba Satellite Tablet (circe 2006, former of the tablet with the swivel screen, not the new kids)

    HP C7280 all-in-one wireless printer

The first time, the first time I installed the new wireless C7280 on this machine in 2006 was a bear. Apparently after hours with tech support they said it was because a Lexmark printer was also installed. I knew that you might not ever have 2 printers installed at the same time?  Finally, we got to work.  There is, then, no. I tried to uninstall and reinstall. TI said it is already there (it is a registry entry falsely saying so?) or it is impossible to find all wireless printers.

On advice, I went to install the printer and manually found my router and it has now got this infor on board. Now, I can print with any program that prints. However all the functionality of Solution Center is lost because when it is in this part of the installation, it hangs. So I have disabled all background programs... it still doesn't work.  Apparently, I can't get this completely off the HD HP and then he wants to think there are already present HP.

The only recourse that I can see is to make a full recovery with discs!  Then install it.  Do you know what that means?  All the paks services, all updates for the past 6 years!  Formidable!  I wonder still find the paks of Service and updates for XP?

I can't understand how somone has not met with a cure for this. I tried all the suggestions that I know.  But the bottom line, there must be no answer how to get this feature full working C7280 all once again. It's a pain since the beginning. Now in regards to the printer, I have no complaints, he worked 6 years no problem, but the associated softeware was very disappointing... very!   jack (I'm open to everything you can think of that I have not tried.

I tried to write my signature in this area on the screen, but it doesn't seem to work? : v lol

I'm sorry to hear of your difficulties, but I'll do what I can to solve. First of all, just to put in place a good base to work line, allows to perform a full and clean uninstallation and reinstallation.

First of all, if you use a USB cable, be sure to remove it. Do not plug it in again until the software instructs you. Through devices and printers, programs and features and issues Device Manager and make sure that all copies, files, and programs related to the printer are removed. As indicated, and then restart the computer.

The START menu type "%temp%" and press on ENTER. Here, I want you to press Ctrl+A and press on REMOVE. Some files you cannot delete them, ignore these files and delete the majority that allows it to.

Follow this link to download full feature software and drivers of the printer:

I've had my laptop of HP EliteBook 6930p about a month ago.  I installed the drivers and the complete HP software from HP. com without incident.  My PC came with IE 8.  Some malware named Babylon.exe infected with IE 8.  I was able to remove my registry, but caused persistent problems with IE 8.  Microsoft suggested that I have installed IE 9, which I did.   The next time I tried to use the HP Solution Center (for scanning a document), I got the above error.

  • HP PhotoSmart Prem 310 Series: Installation on PC Windows 8.1 HP solutions Center

My printer is a model 310 that I bought in 2011.  The DVD accompanying installation supports Windows XP, Vista and 7.  The version number of the DVD is 14.4.0 and I used it to try and install "HP Solution Center" on my new PC for Windows 8.1.  What I get is a picture of a building with a few plants in a pot by the door and and a sign in front of the building that says "close this application".  On the left are the words "select install to begin the installation of your new HP device."  The problem would then be is that there is no click a button "install".  The only button I can click is 'out' and it then closes the installation.  I think I need a Setup DVD update sent to me or instructions on where I can download the installation of HP for Windows 8.1 solutions Center.  I don't have a problem with printing because my PC, the printer has detected and installed the drivers from printert.

    Thanks in advance,

    Ed

    Hi Ed,

Of you can still have problems, download and install the software from the following link:

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/softlib/software13/COL59888/MP-143684-1/PS_AIO_07_C310_FSW_Full_Win_WW_140_408-4.exe

Before installing the drivers do not forget to open the control panel > devices and printers.

Right-click any existing C310 icon, and then select Remove an instrument.

Once that icon removed turn the printer off, only turn on once the installation request to connect.

    Kind regards
