Calibration touch screen CLIQ 2

I have problems with the touchpad by using methods tap both swype, which suggests that the calibration is a little off. As a result, it is almost impossible for me to use the on-screen keyboard.

I've not found anything that suggests that it is possible to change the calibration - that is to say, to train the software to understand where I think the items displayed are against where he thinks they should be. I would like to have the functionality that has been on my first Palm Pilot - where she displays a few points and asked me to type them.

Does anyone else have this problem? Is there really no way to recalibrate the touch screen?

I installed the Motorola screen protector selling T-Mobile for this phone. Is it possible that the screen protector causes?

Thank you.

I found with the Cliq XT and Cliq 2 and the screen protector

does not seem to cause any problems with the touch screen. I would suggest trying your

phone with the use of the protective screen and see how it works. Let us

know if you do!

    Hello

The European driver Toshiba page provides protected A200 drivers, they are placed in the archives.

I checked this and found a posting for external monitor Service.
I recommend that you install this.
In addition, the laptop seems to use the internal graphics chip 852GM. It s from Intel.
Then maybe you need to update the display driver too.

Last but not least check if you are using the latest version of the BIOS.

  • ThinkPad Yoga gestures on touch screen

    Hello

I have the problem that all the actions of Windows 8.1 works perfectly well with the Touchpad, but most does not work with the touch screen.

Pinch to zoom in, click on a finger or selection or longer a finger click for menu right click drop-down menu work fine.

Especially in tablet mode, it's annoying to have to enter the pen to use slide from the side of the screen to the right to open the bar of charms and not being able to use my finger.

I guess it's just a problem of parameters which is a little hard to find - or I'm blind looking for it - because with the exception of theses actions the touch screen works fine and precise as it should.

Thanks for any help you guys can give me!

PS. : The Machine is a Thinkpad Yoga

EDIT: Ok, I've just discovered in playback Mode when the camera is on the right side, everything work perfect - the other 3 positions the problem is still

I had a similar problem on mine. Recalibrate the touch screen fixed.

Many people have problems with this on Windows 7 devices that came with touchscreens when at the edge of the touchscreen is not capable of being touched. I'm guessing that Windows 8 requires the button start to limit (or beyond the edge) of the screen for the gesture to be detected.

When the screen is badly calibrated, when you touch the edge of the screen, it registers as just inside of the edge and is detected as a click instead. Given that the calibration does not change with the rotation of the device, I'd be your vertical calibration is ok (because it works in playback mode), but that your horizontal calibration is a little off.

If you are looking for "Calibration" in the Control Panel, the "Tablet PC Settings' contains the menu to recalibrate the touch (and the pen if you have a) entries

My touch screen is not available on my 2710.  It worked fine for a very long time.

I tried drivers, controlled at the touch of a cable on the motherboard... but did not have a single not forwards.

Would love to hear some suggestions or ideas.

    Thanks in advance.

My 2710 XPS with touch monitor WORKS.  I did have a problem at all, even at the Vernissage of builds. I think that the missing element is the Dell OSD Application, which can be downloaded here: link

I did a clean install of Windows 10, do not know if it matters.  Also, I went and installed all the drivers from Dell as well. I recommend to enter your service tag to get the specific drivers for your configuration.  Select Windows 8.1 in the menu drop-down.

Since the 2720 is supported by Dell, I also installed some drivers select here.  I don't remember the those who precisely.

  • Pro from Dell place 8 touch screen problem

    Hello Dell Tech and users!

I have a coming 8 Pro and I love it.  However, recently, I noticed a problem with the touch screen.  When my screen is in portrait mode with the windows key upward, I can't slide in from the right.  Similarly, if I flip the cost-to the right mode screen landscape with the button of windows on the left, I can't slide down from the top.  I took it to my local Microsoft store where I bought it, and they said to contact Dell, as it is under warranty (bought in dec 2013) and it seems that the digitizer is laminated.  How to solve this problem?

    Thanks in advance,

    Jim Smith

Looks like you will have to re - calibrate your screen (this same situation happened to me).  Do a search on the tablet to "calibrate".  For me, it worked for re - adjust calibration to the original values - do the recalibration process had not helped.

The problem persists even after installing new drivers and calibration of the touch settings, this could be a problem with the hardware. I suggest you to contact the Lenovo Support for assistance on this issue.

    Hello

I'm having the same problem. The 'funny', it's that I have used the last two betas public iOs 10 and did not notice the problem, it seems to have started with the 10.0.1 release official. I tried version 10.1 beta, but the problem persists. Yesterday I went back to iOs 9.3.5, and the problem did not go so far.
