Camera to computer upload problem

Having a problem downloading the images from my camera on a single computer only. This occurred shortly after that Windows insisted on sending me some sort of update that has reached only a computer. The other computer works fine photos download having received no updates. It happened to 2 of my camera and is intermittent. I have samples of the images will be I will try to include it here. Destroys it those who are under Windows 7 64-bit while the photos not damaged are under Windows 7 32 bit so I know this isn't the camera nor the computers themselves. I also tested using a webcam which works very well.

To include the photos, there is no function here.

Philippe

I tried everything but the restoration of the system.
But I think I may have found the problem.  There are ten days my diet had begun to die, so I changed out for another. But there was the old I put an older supply and so I couldn't use my video card (needed a 6 power pins taken that power does not). Because my motherboard already has video output to this topic, I used which instead. But because of the output video on the MB, shares my main memory. And I think that the cause of this is why I have problems.
I don't know when I got the video card in I had no problem.

So I have to wait until I get the money and get a new power supply if I put the adapter back in.

However, if it's really the real physical hardware that went wrong, then you need to talk with the gateway. If it were an external camera, I would say that to visit the manufacturer's website, but as it was built into the computer, I'd say your best bet is with bridge.

    Hello, Dorian,

If you have downloaded in Internet Explorer, go to tools, click View downloads, and you'll see the directory where it has been downloaded. Not visible? Look down, in the bottom left of the word 'options', click on this and it will display the current default folder for downloads, but after writing it down, you can change it to any folder of your choice (mine is C:\__Downloads - always watch first!).

If you use another browser, go to this toolbar for browsers and search for the download folder and display it. You should find similar settings for the other locations.

Let me know if this solves the problem for you.

    Kind regards

    Hello.

Today, I had the opportunity to work with a user of Muse with the same problem after you perform the troubleshooting steps in the post above we decided to communicate with the host.

Later, I learned to know that host IP of the user of Muse and they managed to unlock and muse began to connect to the FTP host.

I have another host scenario suggests Muse to add user : 21 to the FTP address and then Muse was able to connect.

    For example ftp.domain.com:21

Please try the suggestion 2 above and let me know if it works.

  • Transferring images from the camera to computer

A couple of months, my computer has a virus which attacks the operating system.  I took the computer to a store of trusted computing for repair.  To eliminate the virus, technicians used a program called Combofix.

Before the virus, all I had to do was connect my camera to a USB port on the front of the computer.  I would like to hear a Ding-Dong and pop up would be a menu asking what I would do with the photos - several options.

After that the virus has been removed with Combofix, I tried to plug in the USB port of my camera and I hear the Ding-Dong, but the menu does not appear.

I tried to disconnect my scanner of it's USB port and plug the camera on this port, but I get the same results... a Ding-Dong, but no context menu.

I also have a hard drive external Buffalo for backup of photos and documents, and if I plug it into a USB port, the computer does not recognize that it is plugged.

I tried plugging my camera into my daughter's computer and there is no problem - I get the Ding-Dong sounds and the menu appears.  I resorted to uploading my photos to my daughter's computer and have their email to me.  But that's getting old... for us two.

In troubleshooting, it seems that there is nothing wrong with the USB ports, or is there something wrong with my camera or an external hard drive.  There must be something in the Windows XP program which is now off and not to recognize an external device, like the camera or external hard drive.

Tell all about how to solve this problem?

  • I have lost my Windows XP Professionsla installation disc that came with computer and I see the message asking me to insert disk 3 to reinstall the files. What should I do?

I lost the Windows Professional disc that came with the computer. I get a pop up requires me to insert the disc 3 of which I don't have the installation disc. Even if I try to do a system restore I need the disk. I can't lose information that is on the computer and do not have an external drive. What should I do?

There is no disc 3 of Windows XP Professional.  Windows XP (other Media Center if I remember well) was a CD.

Please copy the message down verbatim - including the title bar - and who post here.

You can move this pop-up window on the side and also do all the following - in the order given anything of it periodically, you're already doing...

    Search for malware:

Download, install, execute, update and perform analyses complete system with the two following applications:

Remove anything they find.  Reboot when necessary.  (You can uninstall one or both when finished.)

Search online with eSet Online Scanner.

The less you have to run all the time, most things you want to run will perform:

Use Autoruns to understand this all starts when your computer's / when you log in.  Look for whatever it is you do not know using Google (or ask here.)  You can hopefully figure out if there are things from when your computer does (or connect) you don't not need and then configure them (through their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not - start using your resources without reason.

You can download and use Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking your time processor/CPU and memory.  This can help you to identify applications that you might want to consider alternatives for and get rid of all together.

Do a house cleaning and the dust of this hard drive:

You can free up disk space (will also help get rid of the things that you do not use) through the following steps:

Windows XP should take between 4.5 and 9 GB * with * an Office suite, editing Photo software, alternative Internet browser (s), various Internet plugins and a host of other things installed.

You can disable hibernation if it is enabled and you do not...

When you Hibernate your computer, Windows saves the contents of the system memory in the hiberfil.sys file. As a result, the size of the hiberfil.sys file will always be equal to the amount of physical memory in your system. If you don't use the Hibernate feature and want to reclaim the space used by Windows for the hiberfil.sys file, perform the following steps:

-Start the Control Panel Power Options applet (go to start, settings, Control Panel, and then click Power Options).
-Select the Hibernate tab, uncheck "Activate the hibernation", and then click OK. Although you might think otherwise, selecting never under "Hibernate" option on the power management tab does not delete the hiberfil.sys file.
-Windows remove the "Hibernate" option on the power management tab and delete the hiberfil.sys file.

You can control the amount of space your system restore can use...

    1. Click Start, right click my computer and then click Properties.
    2. click on the System Restore tab.
    3. highlight one of your readers (or C: If you only) and click on the button "settings".
4 change the percentage of disk space you want to allow... I suggest moving the slider until you have about 1 GB (1024 MB or close to that...)
    5. click on OK. Then click OK again.

You can control the amount of space used may or may not temporary Internet files...

Empty the temporary Internet files and reduce the size, that it stores a size between 64 MB and 128 MB...

-Open a copy of Microsoft Internet Explorer.
    -Select TOOLS - Internet Options.
-On the general tab in the section 'Temporary Internet files', follow these steps:
-Click on 'Delete the Cookies' (click OK)
-Click on "Settings" and change the "amount of disk space to use: ' something between 64 MB and 128 MB. (There may be many more now.)
    -Click OK.
-Click on 'Delete files', then select "Delete all offline content" (the box), and then click OK. (If you had a LOT, it can take 2 to 10 minutes or more).
-Once it's done, click OK, close Internet Explorer, open Internet Explorer.

You can use an application that scans your system for the log files and temporary files and use it to get rid of those who:

    CCleaner (free!)

Now that your system is generally free of malicious software (assuming you have an AntiVirus application), you've cleaned the "additional applications" that could be running and picking up your precious memory and the processor, you have authorized out of valuable and makes disk space as there are no problems with the drive itself and your Windows Update components are updates and should work fine - it is only only one other thing you pouvez wish to make:

Get and install the hardware device last drivers for your system hardware/system manufacturers support and/or download web site.

If you want, come back and let us know a bit more information on your system - particularly the brand / model of the system, you have - and maybe someone here can guide you to the place s x of law to this end.  This isn't 100% necessary - but I'd be willing to bet that you would gain some performance and features in making this part.

  • Computer starts: problems

I recently had a lot of trouble to make my computer with Vista at startup, it would work sometimes, other times re-launch at startup. I thought that this could be a windows problem, so I tried to re - install windows when I finally got to do the start, he did the process from the beginning until he wanted to re-start, he would have still not finished, so I opened my computer, grabbed with the RAM and BOOM, it worked fine, installation was always pointing however. I was given an option every time when I turned it to either go into Configuration or vista. I turned and walked away earlier and he went to the installation, when I came back he expanded windows for installation files, I said to myself, there is no reason to spend with it when my computer is running, so I cancelled it and now it won't start windows or let me install windows.

Try to buy a USB hub powered (one that plugs into your computer for its USB connection and which has also the power to the USB ports to plug into the extra wall) and see if that helps.  Some computers provide the power to the USB ports and this can cause problems with the devices.
