Cannot access BIOS laptop Aspire 7250

Hi all, I have a laptop Acer Aspire 7250-0209 who cannot access the BIOS menu. When I turn on the laptop it just see the Acer boot screen and then immediately switch to a black screen with white text saying "no boot device - insert boot disk and press any key any." At first I thought that the HD was defective, so I replaced with a new HD but still its giving the same problem. Not only can I not load/start windows but there is no option to access the BIOS (even I tried pressing F2, F10, F12, delete). Please can someone enlighten me on what is possible for me to be able to access the BIOS and reinstall windows. Thank you

  • Cannot access bios on Aspire V5 571p

I reinstall from disc factory Windows 8.0, I went then upgrade to 8.0 Pro window, I then went to do updates (178).  After downloading, it went through the installation process, but failed.  He went then, restoration of the evolution, after sitting for several hours, he never changed.  I tried to restart and continues to go into the loop changes back.   I wanted to load and reinstall, but now I can't go in the Bios.

The thing F2, Del.  Tried to F12, tried the battery remove and rest for 60 seconds, etc, etc, etc.  but still, he refuses to go to the page of the bios and keeps going into the loop of changes stupid recovery.

How the world can come back in the bios?  I don't want to have to remove the drive hard, etc..

    Any help would be appreciated.

    In fact, I solved this.

I had to download the bios upgrade, it's an .exe file that you have just to run and will update automatically.  It seems that the V5 Aspire 571p (portable mine) was a small problem, where it could block the enter the bios.  The update fixes.

For those who have the same problem, go to the download area and get it.

    Thanks for all the inputs

  • Cannot access BIOS after closing down and also can not use change PC settings either.

    Hello

I am wanting to access BIOS so I can restart the computer with windows 7, since I had nothing else problems with windows 8.1. It messed up my registry and now I can't use one of the windows in all applications, just the office part. (Computer worked fine with windows 8 before that I "upgraded", if you can call it.) So either no access to change PC settings and the BIOS keys do not work when you press during loading. Help, please

    Hello

    Try the following.

Shut down the laptop by holding down the key SHIFT left click Shutdown to temporarily prevent a hybrid boot.

Now on TAP the ESC key as soon as you press the power button to see if it will launch the Start Menu.  If this is the case, select f10 to open the bios menu.

  • Cannot access BIOS when OS disk encrypted w / Bitlocker, starting on the USB key is not unlock disc

    Hello

I enabled Bitlocker on my Acer Aspire 5315. The system partition is encrypted and the data partition. My motherboard doesn't have a TPM chip, so I opted for the unlock with a USB key.

When I start the PC or wake them from their hibernation, the splashboot (with the logo of Acer) BIOS screen does not display the information below on how to access the BIOS (press F2) or the boot menu (F12). And therefore I can't access those as I used to.

BitLocker does not account for the USB key, then asks for the password to unlock the HARD drive. Then Windows starts very well.

However, restart (by a Windows or after you have entered the wrong password Bitlocker too many times), the BIOS splash screen is normal (with how access BIOS and boot menu), I can access BIOS by pressing F2 AND succesfully Bitlocker unlocks the HARD drive with the USB flash drive without having to ask for the password.

So, my question is how Bitlocker unlock the HARD disk automatically via the USB when the PC starts?

    Thank you for reading.

Note: I posted this question on http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w8itprosecurity/threads they suggested that I ask the Acer support.

Thank you also get answers in the TechNet forums.  I'm sorry that you were unable to get a more complete answer it.

We suggest that you uninstall BitLocker and decrypt the drive to determine if this restores your ability to access the BIOS.

  • Cannot access my laptop from my desktop PC on the network

I have a desktop running Windows 7 and a laptop running Vista, and they are both on a wireless network. My laptop can access my desktop, but my office is unable to access my laptop. On the desktop, my laptop is visible, but clicking on it causes the following network error "Windows cannot access \\DR-NOTEBOOK.

Run the Diagnostics on the dialog box results in the following message: 'file and print sharing resources (DR-NOTEBOOK) is online but does not respond to connection attempts. I have gone through several web sites and support sites, but can't seem to find an answer ot fix the problem. I do not use any third-party firewall, only (on both PC) Windows Firewall.

In network and sharing on the laptop Center, I have all the elements (i.e. the network discovery, file sharing,...), put into service.

I would appreciate help from anyone. Thnak.s

I finally managed to fix the problem. The link above was helpful, but I had already taken care of everything mentioned. The link isn't really remedy the situation where you have a laptop that is connected wirelessly to the network, as is my case. My problem is that the desktop PC could not access files/folders on my laptop, but it worked very well the opposite effect (i.e. the laptop could access files/folders on the desktop. After 'playing well' on the laptop, that's what I did to solve my problem:

In Center of network & share on the laptop, there is a list with my network connection wireless, with a link "view state".

Click on this link and you get a dialog box with a button 'properties '. By clicking on this, you get one of several elements that may or may not be selected. In my case, the "file and printer sharing for Microsoft networks" was NOT selected. I chose this and hey presto, it worked.

Hope that this is useful for someone else with the same problem.

  • Cannot access BIOS after own Win 7 installed on the new HD

The machine is HP Elite E9240F. Here's what I did.

1 replace the plant HD with faster player - went well

    2. clean install Win 7 on new drive - activate - went well

3 reinstall the disc supplied with the box in the first place & format - went well.

Now everything starts fine, and loads of Windows. NO problem BUT I cannot access the BIOS more. Not that I need at this time, but I would like to know that where I did it, I could.

Repeated F1 or F11 at startup pressure will produce the black screen for the Windows Boot Manager.

I removed the CMOS battery and retried - same results. I can access the blue screen when I select the boot sequence by pressing ESC but never can I go back in the system BIOS.

    Thoughts?

All these systems are a bit different but F10 to enter the bios to me.  If it is your PC then F10 to enter the bios: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01925486

  • 6 beeps startup then normal but cannot access bios

My computer is a desktop HP ENVY h8xt, Intel® Core™ i7-3770, 3.4 Ghz (Costco) which is the same as the HP 1420 t CTO with 64-bit Windows 8 H8

I added a FX - 785 A-ZDF4 Double D XFX Radeon HD 7850 1 GB 256 - bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x 16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX... When I start, I hear 6 beeps, and then the computer starts fine and the video card.  However, when I try to access the bios by pressing f10 at startup, the computer restarts.  I'm unable to access the bios to try one of the solutions I've seen on the forums.  How can I eliminate the beeps and access the bios?

I've also updated the PSU to an OCZ GameXStream OCZ700GXSSLI 700W ATX12V SLI certified CrossFire Ready Active PFC power supply which should have a lot of power (700w).

I managed to solve this problem, and obviously it's a thing of Windows 8.  Obviously when you add a market after video card in a "certified Windows 8" PC, you will need to disable "secure starting", according to this link.

In addition, in order to access the bios of Windows 8 you must get the bios from Windows 8 according to this link.

Among the many changes coming to Windows 8 new computers designed for this is a change in the way we access BIOS of our computers. >>

This allowed me to get into the bios and disable start-up secure and everything's fine.
