  Have you tested what happens with Microsoft XP disc?

  I have a Qosmio G30 and I can't start windows XP MCE. When I start the computer, I see first is the screen "Qosmio" and there is no problem but when Windows starts, I see the logo and the background is filled with white dots.   I got my new laptop for a little over 7 weeks now and it crashed. While playing a game (Need for speed most wanted) the frozen screen and the only way I could turn off the laptop was by disconnecting the battery.
