Cannot burn to blu - ray

Hi all

I have a project of 3.5 minutes I am trying burn to blu ray.

Export window said there will be 2 output files.

One of them an ac3 file.

At about 66% finished (task window) my LG $30 burner opens and I get a message saying insert the floppy in.

Then after a few minutes it spits out there.

I get no error message.

My burner is not blu - ray. I don't have the box.

Stays stuck on 66.

I see that I have a few icons of Red media on the project for a few still missing photos. But no other clues.

This is my 2nd attempt and the same as the first.

I have TOast 10 and I don't see a download for him and never liked Roxio blu = ray enough to give them more money.

Thank you

Al

First code Blu - ray to your hard drive, and then see if you can burn on the disc from the Finder.

What is the name of device? I can't find a LG burner with a number like that.

  • How can I burn a Blu - Ray disc with menu?

I have a project of 38 minutes composed mainly of footage HD (.m2ts. MP4 and some. MI/GAL). I try to make the project to Blu - Ray with Premiere elements 12, it takes about an hour to reach 98% with the message "Media encoding", then switches to "Compilation of media" and freezes there (I let it go for 6 hours with no end in sight). Manager tasks indicates that it uses not no matter what CPU cycles, while using up to 96% of the CPU before reaching this point. I was able to make this project on a DVD, folders on my HARD and AVCHD disc on a DVD successfully.

For a test, I tried with the same results, a project of 1 minute. It wasn't until I removed the disc menu I could burn a Blu - Ray disc. I'm under the project on a PC with Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit, an AMD Athlon II x 4 2900 Mhz, 4 cores, 4 logical processors with 4 GB of RAM, processor 635. I found a number of references to the completion of 98%, but no real solution. Any help would be appreciated as I would like to produce a record high definition with menus...

Success. Doubling of memory up to 8 GB has done the job. I was able to burn a Blu - Ray with the disc menu and beautiful results (the video is of good quality). I guess that the step "compilation media" requires a significant amount of memory for Blu - Ray.

Surprisingly, it does not speed up the rendering process, but it must allow me to burn bigger projects in the future.

Thanks to all those who have contributed with great suggestions...

  • PRE10 project burn as blu - ray but will not burn on DVD.

I created a project of still images in PRE10 with 30 NTSC-HDV-HDV 1080i settings.  I burned the project as a blu - ray player, and it turned out great.  I tried to burn the same project on a DVD and it goes through the process of encoding very well.  However, when it comes to actually burn it to disc it fills about 5% and then abruptly ends saying the burn is completed even if none of the files are written to the DVD (it is always empty).  The same thing happens when I try to burn the project to a folder (no files are created).  I created other projects with this setting and can't seem to burn to blu - ray or DVD.  Any ideas on why this is happening?

    Welcome to the forum.

As a test, and perhaps as a viable production flow, can you share your HD Timeline to an AVI DV widescreen file? This process completed, giving you a DV - AVI Type II removal w / 16-bit 48 kHz PCM/WAV multiplexed into a single file?

If this is the case, then the new project, choose NTSC or PAL, depending on where you live, DV Widescreen project w / 48 KHz Audio. Import this DV - AVI file in the new project. Use the SD value of your choice to create Menus, make your chapter markers and marker Menu, with no marker to stop at the end of the timeline Menu. Burning this project to record and test with a software DVD player. Does it work?

If your still Images have been scaled for an HD (your BD project) project correctly, there should be no need to re - fit the DVD, but if they were imported at full resolution of the camera, then you should follow the advice of Neale. Although the burnt end comic book project, have tons of unused pixels is a real load on your system, and when you have to down-scale considerably for the DVD project, it may be that more than the computer can handle.

Good luck and please report on how will this test.

  • Workflow for creating a project that can be burned to Blu - ray and standard DVD?

    Hello

I have a project of 20 minutes and I create a unique simple menu with a 'play' button. I would like to create once and be able to burn a Blu - ray 1080 p as a standard DVD. Is this possible?

    Thank you

You may need to restore the original no first transcoded files.

By the way: what is your source material? Dynamic creation/AE links, an m4v?

When still transcode "now" for the DVD, it replaces the originals with the transcoded files.

When you click right/CtrlClick file from the Project menu, under the greyed "transcode now" you will find "restore original".

If you do this, you should be able to transcode for Blu - Ray.

I usually work the other way around, I do Blu - Ray first and then the DVD. Since I create all Menus in 1920 x 1080 and downward revision is better than scaling ;-)
    - and thank you for the training in English alongside.

So if you have your transcoding settings (menu project - files-law transcoding - settings / ctrl-click-) for both Blu - Ray and DVD set up and do not use transcoding "now" - have all and go to the menu to build immediately, you should be able to build both the Blu - Ray and DVD.

  • Add to MT 9010 DVD burner with Blu - Ray burner as a second burner

I am looking for a MT 9010 with a Blu - Ray combo burner. I also want to add a DVD burner as a second burner. Sales said that the system cannot be bought like that. Is it just the way they are sold, or it's physically impossible to add a second burner? There is one external slot open, and it would seem that the motherboard could support. Can I add a DVD burner myself if I get the MT 9010 with the already installed Blu - Ray burner? Thank you.

    Hi jaman57,

OptiPlex 9010 MT has two optical drive bays and four SATA ports on the motherboard. Yes, you can add a DVD burner yourself with the Blu - Ray burner. The image of the façade is provided below:

  • How to burn a Blu - ray export Blu - ray to hard drive?

I have about a two-hour project that is 21 GB as a blu - ray export drive to the hard drive (I chose not to export to my burner blu - ray, thinking that it would be faster and the desire to burn it later if I wanted to). Now, I have the 21 GB exported to a file .img file, but I have no idea how burn it. Compressor does not open the file and no "burn" which does no DVDs anyway. Just to clarify, then export the project on Blu - ray, I chose HDD as my output over my blu - ray burner, who was also an option.  Any help would save me probably 6 hours or re-export and would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Paul

If you are using El Capitan: control - click on the image file in the Finder, choose burn.

For previous versions of OS, open with disk utility and click on the burn button.

  • Bad burn on Blu - Ray; not enough space?

    Hi all

    I bought a blu ray burner =:

    http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1051647-reg/samsung_se_506cb_rswd_sam_slim _exterior_blue_ray.html

Create the disk opens its doors to about 66% asks me to insert a disc. The project is only about 3 minutes. long.

Then, at some point, I get the error message; "Not enough space on the startup disk.

Once the error was; not enough space on the disk, but it's a Virgin blu - ray disc. (BD - R)

There is plenty of space on the hard drive of my iMac.

The burner did not come with software to Mac but I chose the burner in the FCX share window.

Other: When I right click on a movie on the desktop file I see an option for burning, but where can I say it blu - ray?

    Thank you

    Al

Is the library of the PCF on your startup disk and where the media is stored?

If you burn a movie from a file in the Finder, it is a data disk and will not readable on a Blu Ray player.

Regarding your request if Windows 7 can support BD read heres an extract "Microsoft doesn't want of reading support Blu - ray natively on Windows 7. It only supports recording on blank Blu - ray disc media.

"Support Blu - ray (reading) will be sent by the manufacturers of PC or BD player manufacturers. We have new extensibility in media center for those reading of comics to take in charge the built-in reading. We have no support for the BD data disc burning,"said Steven Sinofsky, senior vice president of windows and windows live engineering group at Microsoft, in a statement released by the Windows 7 Center website. »

  • I am trying to burn a Blu - ray on cs6 still, but the same error message.

Blu - ray error: "device error", Code: Note '3', ' CreateStcSequence: cannot write.»

I don't know what it is or what it means. Please someone tell me what it is and how to fix it

This error is probably from multiple sources and it has no uniform solution reported. It can be drive or media. It can be permissions. A reinstall of the still has set at least a situation. Reduce the size of the bitrate/project can avoid the error. Make sure that you still run 'as administrator'.
