Cannot close the Simulator under Eclipse Plug In

Just migrated my JDE application plugin Eclipse environment.  App compiles fine and works fine.  However, when I run the Simulator under I can never get the Simulator to close.  I actually kill Eclipse to stop the Simulator.

Windows 7-64, Eclipse Gallileo, taken at point 1.1.

Any ideas?

It's because you run it on a 64-bit Windows 7. This problem has been resolved in an updated version. I don't know if it fixes each Simulator, but it seems to have fixed the OS 5 Simulator.

Go to help > install new software.

If you have the site set up (http://www.blackberry.com/go/eclipseUpdate/3.5/java) update, check 'hide elements that are already installed.

Update "BlackBerry Java Plugin". To date, the most recent is marked 16/04/2010.

    Hi POS.

    Clean the Simulator.

    In Eclipse

Open the project-> BlackBerry-> own Simulator.

  • Problem when launching an application in the Simulator with Eclipse

When I try to launch my app in the Simulator in Eclipse, I get the following error:

An internal error occurred during: "Android-my-app launch"

    com/android/sdklib/xml/ManifestData

I guess there is something my manifesto, but my app works fine on the Simulator Android and the market and the actual hardware. Also, I could check my apk online and everything was fine. Is there something that I am missing?

    Thank you!

I solved this problem by installing beta Plugin for Eclipse version BB.

Here: https://developer.blackberry.com/android/documentation/install_plugin_prerequisites_1895476_11.html I read that they suggest to use the beta rev 20 ADT plugin. I installed and now everything works for me.

    Here's the URL for Eclipse:

    https://bdsc.webapps.BlackBerry.com/Android/downloads/eclipseplugin/beta/

    Try this solution. Good luck!

  • by using the Simulator on Eclipse

I have been using eclipse for the coding and packaging, this is a nice tool.  -for debugging, I used the Blackberry JDE. Currently running the Simulator in the BB JDE is not complicated but when multiple API versions has to be tested as well as having a production version and a version of development running the number of workspaces increases. I therefore decided to take a go at the Simulator in Eclipse. After an hour I had it almost working but finally ends and "Device error - Blackberry Smartphone Simulator", "the catastrophic Assertion failure". If the BB JDE Simulator is "screwdriver", the eclipse is a double "Swiss Army Knife". So many settings and not a lot of explanation (that I found). Is there a 'manual' on the use of the Simulator on Eclipse somewhere?

For example. In the BB JDE, I put a flag on a module is a module system, and must be loaded initially. Not found in Eclipse. There are a lot of other parameters. I want just a basic configuration which works like the BB JDE. The main application is a Midlet and my modules are still running listeners

It is a mistake of the BlackBerry smartphone itself Simulator (Windows application), not simulated applications.

    Please, try the following:

    1. Click the Project menu in Eclipse.
    2. Choose BlackBerry-> own Simulator...
    3. Select all, and then click OK.

This will reset all the BlackBerry smartphone simulators to their default state.  Now repackage and run your application again.

  • PC W7 cannot close the creative Cloud application

Does anyone know why my pc W7 cannot close the creative cloud application when I stopped my pc?

When I want to shut down the pc, I always have a message and must close the creative application Cloud by force (I don't know the passage of law).

    THX!

This seems like a minor issue, so I recommend leaving her alone and allowing victory to force her to stop.

You can also open your Preferences cc dialog box and not start cc when you connect if this prompt mind.  Just run the application cc, at most once a month.

and if you want to solve the problem, you would probably need to uninstall any cc including the application office, specific to the use of the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems , restart your computer and reinstall the desktop by https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud application

  • Configuration of the Simulator with Eclipse

    HI -.

I use version JDE 4.5 with the Eclipse editor. When I run the Simulator, Simulator of 8300

turn on and I see my app.

How to set up so that another Simulator is launched? I tried to look at some options, but

It was not clear. I didn't see any documentation on this, but I could have missed the right one.

If anyone has seen elsewhere, please point me in the right direction.

There are .bat simulators subdirectory files. Their launch shows the right Simulator, so I need

find out how Eclipse knows which Simulator to launch.

    Thank you

    Amod

To view the documentation on that, click on the Help menu of Eclipse and choose summary help.  Then expand 'BlackBerry JDE plug-in for Eclipse Guide', expand 'Configuring the BlackBerry Smartphone Simulator' and then click 'Specify a BlackBerry Smartphone Simulator for a specific type of BlackBerry smartphone'.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BB Bold 9930 cannot find the battery under device options saving Mode

I have a BB Bold 9930 with OS v7.1.0.163 and I can't find the battery under device options saving Mode. I was told that I needed to update my device to a newer version, after around .3xx software do not know that. But when I try to update my device through BlackBerry Web page software or Office Manager, they both tell me that my device software is up-to-date. How can I update my device software to a newer version on OS 7.1?

OK, I thought that you must have some higher than 7.1.0.342 BONES to get the battery in watch mode on your output device. Apparently Viva has not published a more recent OS you already have.

Operating system device provided are "released" by specific carriers once that they are certified and trained to their support technicians, but still, you are able to load any carrier the same model by following the instructions below.

See the link below to download it and follow these simple instructions.

Make a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close the office at the end Manager.

    1. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.

    https://swdownloads.BlackBerry.com/downloads/contactFormPreload.do?code=C6BFF625BDB0393992C9D4DB0C6B...

    2. go in c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
    3. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

Note: Some users may be concerned they will void their warranty of device by loading an OS from another carrier. There is really nothing to fear. Please read more information about it here: http://www.port3101.org/power-users/296-blackberry-os-upgrade-including-betas-myths-dispelled.html

my iPod, the generation classic 32 GB, stopped playing in the middle of a song. The screen is stuck on this song. None of the buttons work.  I can't stop the iPod.  How can I fix it?

    Hi, lesliefromhowell!

Thank you for reaching out by Apple Support communities. After reading your post, I understand that your iPod Classic does not. I count on my iPod for music on the go and want to make sure that you can use your own without problem!

Relying on the buttons have not helped get the iPod to start playing or to restart, please follow the steps outlined in the article below to reset your iPod.

Learn how to reset your iPod

You'll want to use the instructions under the "iPod, iPod (scroll wheel), iPod (touch wheel), and iPod (dock connector)" section. These instructions are the following:

iPod, iPod (scroll wheel), iPod (touch wheel), and iPod (dock connector)

To reset your iPod, follow these steps:

    1. Slide the Hold switch to the locked position and then come back!
    2. Hold down Menu and Play/Pause all buttons until you see the logo Apple/iPod (about 6-8 seconds). You may need to repeat this step.

If you can always reset your iPod, follow these steps:

    1. Connect your iPod to a power adapter and plug the adapter into a power outlet.
You can also connect your iPod to your computer. Make sure that the computer is on and that it is not set to go to sleep.
    2. Try resetting your iPod again.

    Good listening!

  • The title bar has stopped working and now I can't close the page with the cross or minimize or maximize, cannot close the pages

Toolbar is not functional cannot use the cross at the top to close and cannot minimize or maximize the pages.

What program is this (name and version)?

Are you sure that the title bar is not hidden because the screen is in full screen mode?  Make sure it is in normal mode (usually hit the ESC key will do that).  When you say that you "cannot minimize or maximize or close pages" is because you don't see these icons or press them, and they do not work?  You see the title bar?  Is it the same with EACH program or all instances of this particular program, or only with this page?

If it's an open program, you can still use the toolbar at the bottom of the screen and do a right click on the prgram open and then click Close.  If it isn't there, it can also be hidden. Move your mouse to the bottom of the screen and see if the toolbar appears.  If so right click on it and select properties and uncheck Hide able toolbar and click OK to close - that way it will always show (except when it is in full screen mode).

You can also press CTRL-ALT = DEL to bring up the Manager tasks, go to Applications and select the program that you want to close, and then click end task.

If you have access to the Menu bar, you can usually go into file, and then click close tab or simply close.

If you can help me with answers to my questions (assuming that what I said has not solved the problem), then I will answer you with some suggestions to solve the problem (whatever it is)-, but there are too many possibilities without knowing more about the problem.

    Thanks and good luck!

  • Cannot close the camera using EventInjector for touchscreen models

    Hi all

In my application, I opened the app native camera help

    Invoke.invokeApplication (Invoke.APP_TYPE_CAMERA, new CameraArguments());

I have a listener added to monitor changes made to the file system. As soon as a new image is taken and added to the file system, the camera is close to the EventInjector.

I'm running it on JRE 5 and 6, and it works very well for models with no touch screen on the Simulator. However, it will not work for 9550 and 9800. On simulators, it is frozen just after the photo is taken (and probably saved). I loaded my torch, the photo is taken, then he brought me to the camera application instead to close the camera and take back me to my request.

There should not be a problem with my code, as I moved to a programme of work. So what could be the problem?

Same assumptions or any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you very much

    Tina

    Hey everybody,

I solved the problem... It's because you don't have the appropriate permissions for your application to INJECT key events... Use the following code to request the appropriate permissions and you'll be on your way to the injection of events!

               ApplicationPermissionsManager permManager = ApplicationPermissionsManager.getInstance();

                if(permManager.getPermission(ApplicationPermissions.PERMISSION_INPUT_SIMULATION ) != ApplicationPermissions.VALUE_ALLOW ||                permManager.getPermission(ApplicationPermissions.PERMISSION_IDLE_TIMER ) != ApplicationPermissions.VALUE_ALLOW  )             {             //Request our permission to inject events             ApplicationPermissions pAppPermission = new ApplicationPermissions();

                pAppPermission.addPermission(ApplicationPermissions.PERMISSION_INPUT_SIMULATION);               pAppPermission.addPermission(ApplicationPermissions.PERMISSION_IDLE_TIMER);

                  if( permManager.invokePermissionsRequest(pAppPermission) == false)                {

Please give Kudos if it solves your problem

  • Cannot create the application under "C:\programData\Application Data" directories.

I am trying to install a program, but it fails to install with error "Unable to create directories of the application under"C:\programData\Application"features.". It sounds like a permissions issue, so I compared the permissions on another installation of Windows 8 who did install correctly and it appears to be identical.
Only the "ProgramData" folder is visible. The ApplicationData folder is hidden and I can't display to check the contents of the folder or permissions.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Ken,

Please answer the following questions so that we can get a better idea about the issue.

    1. what application are you trying to install?

    2. What is the exact error message you get?

AppData is a hidden folder. The Appdata folder in the program data is a super hidden folder. We should not make any changes in this folder as it effects the behavior of other applications as well. You can view the file by following these steps.

Here are the steps to display the folder.

    a. press Windows key + W , type: Hidden

    b. click on settings under the search box.

    c. click Show hidden files and folders and drives on the left side of your screen s.

    d. then click on Show hidden files, folders and trainings and uncheck Hide protected system files.

    e. click OK

In Windows 8, the default location of user data has changed. To enable interoperability with existing applications, junction points are used in the deprecated locations and point to the new locations in Windows 8. A junction Point is a physical location on the local hard disk that points to another location on the drive or another storage device. So, here the application is not able to find the point of junction. There could be two reasons for the question. One is the application is unable to find the path and other permissions.

I suggest you run the installer fix and

Solve problems with programs that cannot be installed or uninstalled

Note: when it gives you the possibility to solve the problem by itself, or manually, manually select and then continue. This will help you in the installation of the application.

Given permission, we know which you try to install the application. It would be better if you contact the manufacturer of the product for this particular application permission issues.

Let us know the status of the issue. We would be happy to help you.
