You cannot communicate because you do not have a recognized or primary DNS server configuration. The configuration of the DNS service is incorrect. It seems that your DNS server is configured to be your router - but it's hard to say. You actually don't have even one of those enrolled in the internet connection (if it is not to be found in mshone.net). I don't know what it should be - that depends on your ISP. Contact your ISP technical support group and help you set up your system correctly - more precisely settings DNS, but the rest as well as you have on the line and do not let up until you made a good connection.
I'm sorry, we can not help more, but we need their configuration data to set it up properly.
I hope this helps.
Good luck!

Windows cannot communicate with primary dns server
Hey everybody. I have a home network, wired PC, 1 wifi 1. WiFi works fine. wired network printers work well, other computers (laptops work fine both wired and wireless.) I have a PC (VISTA), which now gives me the "windows cannot communicate with primary dns server. This has happened a couple of times, but a reboot fixed things. Once I had to change primary dns server from automatic to 208.67.222.222 (who got to this site), it worked. Now, the same error, but nothing works. I have tried in both directions between the DNS auto numbers listed here, also, have tried the following:
ipconfig/flushdns
ipconfig/registerdns
netsh interface ip reset reset.log
netsh int ip reset resetlog.txtand had windows try to reset the DNS of countless times. Nothing works. The upgrade to W7 eventually will correct this problem? Another question, my wife insists on the use of AOL software (I know, I know), even if all that she uses to is by e-mail. She says she loves interface. A chance that caused this problem?

Original Title2: Windows 7 - InternetOriginal title: can someone help me?I use a PC at home with Windows 7. Whenever the failure at home, I have problems connecting to the Internet. Whenever I try to go on Youtube or another website, I get "Internet Explorer can not display the webpage." Now, my internet and router are configured correctly, then why is what is happening? I ran Diagnostics and got the "Windows cannot communicate with primary DNS server." I tried to reset the TCP/IP settings. It did not work and I did three times! I tried to check the properties of my network when I went to diagnose the problem, he threw some stuff on the property sheets open and close before you reopen the properties. If someone could give a foolproof solution for this annoying internet problem I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
Hello
Welcome to the Microsoft community!
While using the network troubleshooter utility in Windows, you get message that Windows cannot communicate with primary DNS server.
What is the exact message that you get when you try to check the settings of network domestic?
I suggest you to change network settings:
Step 1: change network settings of the router
a. connect to your router (by typing 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 in the address bar) and connect. Check your user manual or documentation if you don't know the references of logon.
b. make sure you are in Setup-> basic configuration category.
c. scroll down until you see "DHCP Server" - if it is disabled, select 'enable '.
d. enable DHCP if you want, you can change the number that starts the DHCP IP assigning. (This is optional)
e. use the DNS servers provided by your ISP. There are many DNS servers out there. It is preferable to use your ISP if possible.
f. scroll down and click 'Save Settings'.Note: The procedure may slightly vary with different routers. You can see the manual or contact ISP for assistance.
Step 2: change in the computer network settings
a. click on start and then Control Panel.
b. go to the networking and sharing Center and then click on change adapter settings.
c. right-click on connection to the Local network and select Properties.
d. Select Internet Protocol Version 6, and then click Properties.
e. Select obtain DNS server automatically an address and press Ok.
f. Select obtain IP address automatically.
g. Repeat steps for Internet Protocol version 4 as well.I hope this helps. If the problem persists, let know us and we would be happy to help you.

Windows cannot contact the primary DNS server
Troubleshooting after trying to connect HP laptop to the internet, the result was that windows cannot communicate with primary DNS server. How should I do?
What type of Internet connection you are on, wired or wireless? If you are on a wireless connection, try switching to a wired connection and try the download.
Click Start, type: cmd
Right-click on cmd, and then click Run as administrator
At the command prompt, type the following:
ipconfig/release
then
ipconfig/renew
then
ipconfig/flushdns
leave the command prompt
Click Start, type: folder
Press enter
Delete the contents of the temp folder
Restart the computer and try to download again.
If the problem persists, try resetting your router if you are connected to one.
Turn off the router, unplug it, wait 10 minutes
Plug it in again, power up once again
Reconnect the Ethernet cable

does anyone know what causes this sudden failure to communicate with the DNS server?
My laptop suddenly stopped being able to connect to the internet. It has full signal and the modem works on a laptop another family (where I send you this). The error message "windows cannot communicate with the device or resource (primary DNS server), I followed the advice without success to date. What could cause do this all of a sudden?
You have McAfee? McAfee has been updated at the same time as the last batch of updates from Windows 7 and this is the cause of the problems of connections for all McAfee users.
See the communication from this "criticism" - McAfee
You should make the fix McAfee, if necessary. There are corresponding communications for their enterprise products.
I had to run the removal of McAfee Development tool a few times before and it caused a problem with the license if the PC was not connected to the internet during the abduction. Due cat of McAfee support reset their files in order to allow the relocation-reactivation. Here is their link cat - McAfee - media contains the link to the cat
I got McAfee, but the connection has started working again on its own so I thought I was clear of problems. However, when I checked it says he was doing routine checks the updates in vain when I told it to do a manually. So stick with McAfee you don't follow their procedure of fix would have upgraded my PC at risk by not updated and, like other McAfee ads have since explained, the application did not refer to its database of threats correctly [and this could explain part of the variability of the symptoms of failure but all involved loss of internet connection]. Actually, I removed McAfee then installed Microsoft Security Essentials rather & my answer IE is faster I knew it [even though I had the Add-ons McAfee disabled for centuries].

Having problem to communicate with the Dns server.
Hello everyone, I'm having problems with my connection when I click Connect to the network diagnose it shows me this error message.
"cannot communicate with the server of DNS (218.186.1.58).
I'm a fall of MMORPG and disconnect from the internet, when I was playing or surfing. Can someone help me solve this problem.
Hello Spiffie,
You can try to uninstall the Windows Update on March 11 to see if that solves the problem.
Remember that uninstalling the updates may require restarting the computer to complete uninstallation of the update. You will be notified to restart if the update does.
Please post to let me know if this helps J

Hello
I was all of a sudden having problems connecting to my wifi at home. When I was diagnosed, he says cannot communicate with primary dns server. I tried all methods in similar positions, but nothing works. I am also unable to connect to internet with my iphone and the itouch. It's really frustrating, because I've already tried all of your suggestions. I just ran another ' diagnose connection problems and it says the following:"There could be a problem with one or more network adapters on this computer." Help, please!Thank you! Thanks for your help, but I have tried this before. In the end I just unplugged my modem and plugged in again and it worked? I feel a bit silly not to try first.

cannot communicate with the server DNS (66.81.1.251)
I have a supplier of the Internet service provider and usually use ie9, but for a month or two, I'm using Google Chrome and, until very recently, I was not having problems. For a week now, I've been kicked almost like clockwork, and when I diagnosed my connection, I got the message "unable to communicate with the DNS server (66.81.1.251). I really prefer Chrome on IE9 because it's faster (I use dial-up). I would like to know what has caused this happens suddenly and want step by step instructions to resolve this problem. Windows help did not help.

NETWORK card driver update
disable TCP Window Scaling
ipconfig/flushdns
ipconfig/registerdns
ipconfig/release
ipconfig / renew
netsh winsock reset catalog
netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log
netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log
I can't ping any Web site, including DNS or gateway, or live.com, using the IP address or other.
I can ping 127.0.0.1
I also tried to adjust my computers IP to non-working parameters exactly as it is on my laptop, nothing works
nothing seems to work:(serait-ce une sorte de défaillance matérielle?) Device Manager indicates that the NETWORK adapter does not work correctly
I bought a new NETWORK card, and it works with the new NIC. weird

Original title: internet connection problem
Hey,.
I use a wireless connection at home, it works very well in my android and apple gadget, but it does not work for my laptop. It is said:
1. Windows cannot communicate with the device or the reaource (primary DNS server)
2. the connection between the Internet and your access point, router or cable modem is broken
3 problem with access point or wireless adapter
I think it's an effects of virus or something? Because yesterday it works really well. How can I fix? Thank you very much
Hello Hildegard Lydia,
You may experience this problem for a number of reasons. Some common problems that can cause these problems are: drivers damaged or incompatible, updates missing, network connection settings, hardware problems or software or TCP/IP can sometimes be damaged or corrupted.
What is the brand and model of your computer?
Please follow the steps mentioned below:
Method 1: a component of the Internet connection on your computer is a package of instructions called TCP/IP. TCP/IP can sometimes become damaged or altered. If you can't connect to the Internet and you have tried all other methods to solve the problem, TCP/IP can be causing it.
I suggest you try to reset the TCP/IP stack.

Windows cannot communicate with the device he resourse (primary DNS server).
Original title: primary dns.
Help, please
Windows cannot communicate with the device he resourse (primary DNS server)
Please help me solve this problem
If you see a 'FON' signal wifi on your PC and you have signed up to "FON", you should be able to connect to it.
If you look on your BT router (or router you pay BT for the primary connection) on its homepage it should show something like "State of the Wifi BT. If it is active, you should be a member "FON", if it is not active then you need to register and agree.
BT has their own support forum if you have not already tried it - https://community.bt.com/
See the FAQ here - http://www.btfon.com/support to ensure that you are connected properly.
in particular:
How can I connect once I connect to the correct Wi - Fi network?
Once you are connected to the correct wireless network, launch your browser. This should load the Fon login page. Select Fon among the three options on the login page, enter your e-mail address and password and sign in. Launch another browser and you are ready to access the Internet

Cannot communicate with the device or resource - primary DNS server
I have problems with my laptop using windows 7.I was able to connect to the internet until the 19/08/12 to the evening. After having been online earlier that evening and closed, I rebooted the computer and found my computer connected to the wireless network but had access to Internet 'No '.Network Diagnostics has revealed: "Windows cannot communicate with the device or resource (primary DNS server). I had a full signal strength and I introduced myself to be connected to the network, but there is "no internet access.I have several computers and have no difficulty in connection with any other device (computer, video streaming, phone), to the internet through the network, home.I tried and am not able to connect wireless or ethernet over any network cable (tried 3 others) but can connect to these networks using other computers, telephone, etc.I have not recently installed/uninstalled anything. System Restore says the last restore as on 15/08/12 point.Thank you.Hey, I uninstalled McAfee and that solved the problem. Thanks a lot for the suggestion and encouragement. I'm back online.

Many problems with Windows, Windows cannot communicate with the device or resource (primary DNS server), Internet Explorer browser does not.
Hi Rachel,
I understand that when you try to connect to the Internet, you get error "Windows cannot communicate with the device or resource (primary DNS server)", what other issues you are faced with Windows?
- Using a cable or a wireless Internet connection?
DNS (Domain Name System) translates the URL in IP (Internet Protocol) addresses (and vice versa). For example, if you type http://www.microsoft.com into the address bar in your web browser, your computer sends a request to a DNS server. The DNS server translates the URL to an IP address so that your computer can find the Microsoft web server.
I suggest you to follow the methods in this article and check if it helps.

Should the change detection have limited triggers?
Hi all I use the change detection in an event model (as in the example) and I get only a finite number of events. It varies between 350 and 750 events. This poses problems for it to be implimented in a system permanently running. Any suggestions PXI-
