  Somewhere between Snow Leopard and 10.7.3, my iMac stopped detecting my C309g-m as a scanner with bluetooth and wifi.  I can still print via bluetooth and wifi without problem, but "print and Scan", "Image Capture", and "Preview" not to recognize the C309 as a scanner.

  I uninstalled the HP Photo Center, but didn't know that there was a 'scrubber' option until after the forums up. Accordingly, I still have the package installed driver somewhere in the interiors of my computer.  It is a 3.3.3 package by car.

  As the software was partially removed, please follow the steps below to ensure that pilots are not damaged:

  1. open the Applications folder.
  2. go to the Utilities folder.
  3. double-click on disk utility.
  4 Select the hard disk that contains the boot volume.
  5. go to the first aid tab and select Repair disk permissions.
  Note: This process may take several minutes depending on the Mac and the amount of the permissions that need to be repaired. The journal of the progress will tell you when the process is complete.

  Then, download and install the latest HP Printer Drivers 2.8 below package:

  Finally, reset the printing system and reconfigure the printer:

  * Be aware that reset the printer system will eliminate any existing queue and reset all custom settings driver.

  Click on the Apple menu and then click on System Preferences.

  Right click (or Ctrl + click) your product with the Printers list in the left panel and then click on reset printing system.
  Click OK to confirm the reset.
  Type your user name and password.
  Click OK. The printing system resets.

  Now, click on the Plus sign and select the pritner listed as Hello in the default tab.

  Now, check if you can scan using Print & Scan or one of the other methods described below:

  It is not supported to scan from the front panel of the printer without a full feature software, so it's expected.

  About Webscan EWS option, the page overview only scanning, in order to save the page scanned, you should right click (CTRL + left click Mac keyboard), then save the file in the contect menu.

  Please let me know any changes during the scan to Print & Scan after installing the package.

• Dell u3014 does not connect to any laptop (Dell XPS 13 / Dell Studio XPS 1340) via display port

  Now, I received my u3014 dell monitor last night and did not, as still able to connect to one of my laptops.

  I have a Dell XPS 13 (L321X), which has a port minidisplay outside and a Dell StudioXPS 1340, who was a regular on displayport.

  Dell has included a mini displayport to displayport cable with the monitor and I tried this cable with two laptops, but no video appears.

  I get the following messages with each laptop:

  With the XPS 13: The monitor says "no displayport cable is connected.

  With the Studio XPS 1340: "This monitor now goes in powersafe mode'.

  The monitor works fine via HDMI and DVI, but obviously those who do not allow me to enjoy the maximum resolution.

  The two laptops under windows 7 64-bit with video drivers of dell stock. I'm at a loss for what to do and would appreciate any suggestions/help someone.

  Update: Dell sent me a new, replacement monitor. With this new monitor, I bought two cables:

  As soon as I hung the xps 13 on the monitor, the monitor acknowledged instantly and went at full resolution. The same is true when I tried to connect with the Studio XPS 1340.

  So I don't know if it's a simple cable problem or if there is something wrong with the circuit board on the original U3014, and frankly, I don't want to try my new cables with her, just in case, and facing another headache.

  Whatever it is, this fixes all my problems. Thanks for all your help to try to diagnose the problem.

  Download of extracts only the program on your disk. You must manually install the driver for the Synaptics touchpad with its own executable.

  Looks like Windows is confused and looking for a file that is no longer there. Try using the brush included in the CD or download.

  I am trying to boot from the Blu - ray player, so that I can use a disk of Norton Bootable Recovery Tool, I created on a laptop computer with exactly the same OS under my desk, Windows 8.1. When I boot, I support several times on F2, but the PC will boot Windows. I upgraded the system BIOS of A11 to A12, but I still can't get the computer to recognize F2.

My antivirus/firewall, Norton Security with Backup program, has found some malware, but not recently. I had to uninstall it completely and reinstall in downloading from the iolo website. I did, but I still get the same message. I googled Runtime error 216 and Microsoft Support alleged that this problem can occur if your computer is infected with a virus Trojan SubSeven. I'm afraid that the reason why I can't get F2 to work is due to malware. But I can do something wrong.

  I read somewhere that the keyboard can be the source of the problem and it was. I finally got my hands on a keyboard Dell and the F2 and F12 function now. I created and used a Norton Bootable Recovery Tool, but it found nothing. Finally uninstalled iolo.

  If F2 and F12 don't work, try a different keyboard. I'm glad I did.

  What you're missing is the codecs for your videos are in the file format.

  Try the VLC media player. It will easily play most file formats.
