Cannot connect to the router efax. On HP Officejet 650010n, Windows XP desktop, routher: tp-link

I tried to connect the router to home port to efax.  Having hard time understanding connection.  Don't know which network in the list I'm suppose to connect to match the router password.

The network you should be interested will generally be the first listed item.  By following the previous steps, you can check this on your computer.

As Super-Dave pointed out, however, this printer has a built-in for eFax support.

To use eFax with this printer, you synchronize your eFax account with your email and print faxes that you receive as attachments to email like you would for any other file.

  • Smart Wi - Fi cannot connect to the router

I can't access my router remotely. It is said that my router has no internet connectivity, but I can access the Internet fine when I am connected to the router locally. Somewhere that my modem is using the bridge to do this, I met and so I tried to fill it, but I still get the same message. Tried changing from dhcp to pppoe, I read somewhere, but my ISP does not seem to support. The router firmware is updated. Help, please. Never been able to use this feature because I bought the router.

You'll probably have to do a factory reset and set up again. There could be other things to try, but it's the easiest way. If you have a large number of special configurations, you can save the config before you perform the reset of encephalitis in ticks and once that you have reset it and see if it is accessible, then restore settings.

  • WRT600N still cannot connect to the router after factory reset

OK, so I reset the router but I can not yet connect to installation using the password factory (admin/admin) (white/admin) (admin/empty).   Now, I have a network encrypted and without access to the configuration... I even tried to use the installation CD, but it does not recognize the router.   Anyone have this problem or know of a possible fix?

    Thank you, Carl

Hey try resetting the reset button of the router in a way to equip
light flashes on the router & then make a full of electric network
cycle that is, unplug the power to the modem & router cables

& then connect the power supply to the modem first once all the lights are
Green, you can plug the power cable to the router & discover
    This will definitely work!

  • See Express Core cannot connect to the router UCM IM & P. XMPP: inactive

I'll put up a teleconference environment (10.5 CUCM/IMP) with a few G2 MX300, SX20 and many Jabber clients. The solution is the new Express Core/Edge.

It seems that I can't seem to make the core of the highway to connect to Unified Communications and more specifically with my presence and IM UCM environment. Everything is correctly configured in the Configuration > Unified Communications section. I see that the connection to the AAU itself is active but not at UCM MI of the P & I see the error "router XMPP: inactive.

Each server name can be resolved by DNS, so there is no problem with that. Channel Express is in the same subnet (switch) with the AAU and AAU IM & P. passwords are configured corretly. There is not enable encryption between UCM IM & P and the core of the highway.

Am I missing something? What I have to do additional configuration for the side IM & P? Can someone help me? I enclose some screenshots of my environment.

    Thank you, Stefanos

    Hi stavropouloss,

So that the service becomes active, you will need to have the area between Highway C & E active.

To have C & E traversal Expressway area active you should download on each server certificate signed by a trusted CA authority.

Documentation on how to generate can be found here: http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/expressway/config...

  • Pavilion HPE h8z cannot connect to the router to 1000Mb

    Pavilion HPE h8z

Windows 7 (all updates including updated network driver)

    Router: RV220W Cisco

    Cable: Cat 6

Any new system.  All the network settings on the PC and the router are "out of the box '.  The system will not connect to 1000 Mb (Gigabit), even if the other 2 on the same router (1 XP, Linux 1) connect without any problems.  Swapped cable and ports without difference,

And before anyone asks, it that a Realteck Gigabit Ethernet chip on the motherboard.

Tech came out at 08:00 as expected.  Replaced motherboard.  We have video, we have Gigabit Ethernet.

HP should really look at this whole incident.  In addition to taking almost 4 weeks to fix the problem and let the client without computer running for more than 10 days, this event has cost thousands of dollars support HP.

Process of elimination said that it was a hardware problem. IMHO, this kind of problem should have been taken before his departure from the factory (certainly not a HP has / operates the plant).

If HP has spend this amount of resources to solve this kind of problem, it is not surprising that they want to get out of the PC business.

You must contact your ISP and ask them.  You have not even told us what router you have.  It adds that the fact that some ISPS do not want to play with the settings of the router means that they are the only ones that can help you.

  • Unable to connect to the router (BEFSR41 V4.0)

I have a Linksys BEFSR41 (Version 4.0) wired router and I am not able to connect to it. It has been in storage (the top of a closet shelf) for the past two years and when it when it was still used it worked like a pro.

I used the downloaded from the site Web of Linksys router configuration utility to install it, and when it gets to the final stage, he says that it cannot connect to the router. Try to go to 192.168.1.1 translates into a (very long) network timeout.

I have reset the router several times (retained in the for more than 10 seconds reset button) and have had no result. All the lights on the front of the router work normally.

I already checked and I'm set up to get the IP addresses of network automatically rather than assigning a static.

    Any help appreciated,

  • Printers HP B110a cannot communicate with the laptop, but both will be connected to the router?

OK, here's an interesting problem that has been banging my brain for hours, one of my friends has a HP Photosmart all in one printer B110a. Now I can get the printer to connect to the wireless router, no problem. Can I also have the phone to connect to the router, the problem is that the printer cannot communicate with the laptop. The router brand and model is the Linksys wrt54g

Now, I took my friends laptop home and tried to see if she could detect my wireless printer model different on my router which is a TP WR340GD I went in devices and printers, and went to Add a printer and Add Printer wireless, it instantly detected my printer via the wireless network. There is no problem on the side of the laptop. I am sure that any firewall on the laptop was turned off when I tried the connected printer.

So now I have my friends printer here with me and decided to try and see if I could detect the HP Photosmart printer All In One Printer on my laptop on my TP WR340GDwireless router. Yet once, it worked perfectly and it has detected the printer and works wireless without fault.

I'm down now to the conclusion that the problem is with my friends router Linksys wrt54g I'm gone in the settings of the router, change the wireless channels, changed security between WEP and WPA/WPA2 and AES AND TKIP wireless and this does not solve the problem.

I can access to the Photosmart B110a: the Web server integrated in a browser ONLY if I have the laptop to the router physically connected by Ethernet cable when trying to access my router from a friend, but I can access through wireless on my router. The problem is probably something very simple that I forgot, but I was more all I can think that I tried to reset harder than the printer cleaned the network settings on the printer as well from the display of the printer menu.

I'm really lost now, someone at - it suggestions?

Hey pcwizard, ok, I checked the router settings and Mac filtering turned on, so I decided to reset the router, it restored to factory settings. Re-Setup wireless and once again I tried, still had no luck with the laptop to communicate with the printer.

in any case, I decided to connect the cable from the printer to the laptop and took the USB to wireless Assistant. As I reinstalled it the printer using the wired method.

He told me that the rules of traffic incoming and outgoing firewall stopped communication between devices and assign port numbers 427-9000 etc.. However, I had turned off all firewall, Windows and Norton 360, which since then, I've replaced with a better anti-virus software.

I went into the settings of the router, port forwarded the application numbers, tried again and is again no luck. I'm usually pretty good with computers, but it was really annoying me. So I went and had a coffee and a brainwave came and I decided to see if my laptop could detect and connect the printer to the router. As soon as I tried it, he finds and the printer has detected immediately.

Then I thought there must be something on my laptop to friends who may be at the origin of the problem, when I looked, I noticed that my friend had the old software Vodafone Mobile Broadband running in the background which was connected to the router.

So I closed and turn it off and tried again adding printer. SUCCESS now detects it and the printer is now communicate and respond with the laptop. I'm guessing that the Vodafone Mobile Broadband have a built-in firewall blocking the communication. However it is strange because it worked without problem on my printer at home, so I wonder if some how blacklisted broadband Vodafone IP address of the printer at a time on their router.

I'm so happy, it's finally done, a lot of hours and work, and after all this time it was * beep * Vodafone.

in any case Pcwizard I thank very much for trying to help, no doubt has given me a few ideas.

    Thanks again!

  • Connects to the router, but cannot send or receive data

I have a WRT54G.  I can find the network and connect to the router, but I can't send or receive data.  I tried to connect directly to the router and I still not able to send or receive data. Both computers on the router has the same problem.  I did a reset the router back to the settings by default and still no luck.  Any thoughts?  Thanks in advance for the help.

The first thing you can try is when you the Modem and the router is connected to the other, disconnect the power from the router and Modem, wait 30 seconds and then plug in the power to the Modem and once all the lights are solid, then connect the power supply to the Linksys router, now check if you are able to go online. If still no then...

Who is your ISP. So I think you need to re - configure all settings of your router again.

  • Unable to connect to the router (even after reset)

I'm really frustrated, and I hope that this community can provide an answer. After all the hype around this router, it is he who gave me the most trouble.

About a month and a half... completely randomly it seems to me, I could not connect to the router more. Not through intellectual property, routerlogin.net/com...nothing. It just says: cannot display the page. I did everything I could possibly think, tried all of the suggestions I could find here and elsewhere and still nothing would work.

I finally did a hard reset and obviously lost all my settings... and RIGHT AFTER the hard reset after upgrading the firmware, I can't connect to the router again. This could be the cause? Is there a way around it?

The router worked fine until about a month and half ago. Then I stopped being able to connect to the admin page. Several resets hard did nothing.

I ended up RMA'ing it and the new replacement works fine (for now).

  • Satellite A505 - sees, but cannot connect to, Wireless Router Win7

I have a laptop Toshiba A505-S6980 running the 64 bit version of Windows 7.

It worked fine a few months previously, to connect wireless to my O2 2 wireless router (the notebook has a REALTEK RTL8191SE wireless card).

I also have a desktop running XP computer that I use to connect to the same router. While on the desktop, I noticed several weeks ago that the router has been implemented with no WPA and WEP security, so I decided to change the router to WPA. The desktop PC was fine with this, but the laptop complained and wouldn't connect, failure of authentication and just stating "unable to connect to xxxxx". At the time I assumed it just couldn't handle the WPA authentication for some reason any and decided that I would probably turn to WEP to a later date to make it work again. At some point, I remove a ' O2 Connection Manager ", which had been installed when I bought a 3G dongle O2, where he has confused the issue, but it made no difference. In the meantime, I tried to connect the laptop using a wired connection and worked well.

I now (a few weeks later) decided that I wanted to use the wireless laptop then redefine the router to WEP expect this to work, but it didn't. As with WPA, he did not get past authentication when I put the key to security in. So, I try to understand the problem...

    What happens;

    (1) the wireless laptop sees my router (and neighbors), but just cannot connect.

    (2) I can connect with a laptop computer on the same USB wireless adapter.

    (3) I can connect the laptop to the router using a wired connection, and there is no problem.

    (4) my desktop running XP computer can connect to the router as WEP or WPA Wireless if the router is ok.

    (5) this worked several weeks ago!

    What I've tried;

    (1) I have installed the latest REALTEK RTK8191SE driver.

    (2) I tried to disable the security on the router, no joy.

    (3) I deleted all the profiles of network on the laptop.

    (4) I have tried with Norton antivirus and firewall disabled (but have not uninstalled) but no help.

    (5) I tried to do a restore of the system to the closest possible point and no help.

    (5) I uninstalled the wireless network adapter and its driver in Device Manager... Windows 7 can see the of it after a reboot and re - installed (using the old default driver), but it does not work. Then, I re-installed the latest version from REALTEK to ensure that it is up-to-date.

    What's weird is that

    (1) it works ok using the wireless USB adapter

    (2) the integrated REALTEK wireless adapter works to a point such that it can SEE my router, connect simply do not

    (3) authentication failure almost instantly

My suspicions are that an automatic update of Windows 7 or the O2 Connection Manager has somehow screwed it upward. I have uninstalled the O2 connection manager and tried to uninstall the automatic updates but there are many of them and I don't know how far back, I need to go. Also, because it authentication immediately, it seems that it is not giving him a chance to actually work.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can proceed or had a similar problem?

This is a really silly situation. In any case, I recommend you to use the Toshiba WLAN drivers only.
I put t know what Realtek module is inside but try please install driver WLAN http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/?page=downloads

All that you have done is logic and I think I will try the same thing.
Have you tried to connect to WEP or WPA is disabled? I mean free WLAN without protection.
Have you tried to connect your laptop to a friend's router?

I really put t know what is the problem here but there are a few bad setting it.

My bars of Toshi Saturday 1,2,3,5 equates to dropped the WiFi but when WiFi is at 4 bars, it's the best thing since the fire.

Recently, my laptop started to remove connections to the router and the router is that a step of 4-5 come out in the kitchen of my house. And another problem is that my room seems to be a dead zone.

If I turn on my laptop, I am required to get out of the kitchen and stand near the router until it connected, but if I'm sitting in my room, 3 bars, and said "(the WiFi name) cannot be detected/connected."

Any who want to enlighten me on what's going on?

    Mr.Delta

Simply said, the Wlan router signal is too weak and this causes disconnection
    I have some advice for you;

    -Update the WLan driver
-Card Wlan definition of control; You should go to Device Manager-> properties-> Advanced tab WLan card. You will find some options that allows you to change the standard WLan (802.11 A, B, G, etc.) and you can also check the WLan channel and improve the signal
    -Disable the Wlan Card saving

    Good luck
