• How to convert the old sync key (12 characters, no dashes) to the new sync key (31 characters, 5 dashes)?

  My sync key was of 12 characters, no dashes (xxxxxxxxxxxx). After uninstalling and reinstalling FF 3.6.13, Sync 1.6.1 refuses my sync key to 12 characters.
  I discovered, that the keys of synchronization for all users have been activated to 31 characters including 5 dashes (x-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx). How can I get the new key for synchronization?
  I have no PC connected to Firefox Sync more but Firefox Home and 360 browser on my iPhone successfully sync. Unfortunately on the iPhone I can't display the sync currently used key. Is there a way to convert the old key to sync to the new?

  I had the same exact symptoms as you did. Here is my solution:
  I installed an older version of firefox sync (1.4.something, I think) and then added my account using my old short firefox sync key. When you try to synchronize, the out of date addon says to do synchronization, it must be updated. After update, I always signed, but now had the additional device to see my new long firefox sync key that was compatible with FF 4 b, etc. Everything works fine now and my computer is properly synchronize.

  I think that we have solved the problem.  Instead of looking for the solution via Adobe, we went to our info from the printer online, which was the HP OfficeJet 8600.  We found the printer drivers special for our system of operating newly installed Maverick for our MacBook Pro.  After having downloaded and installed the new drivers by fashion, we tested print a pdf document, and it was printed without any problems.

  So I bought Adobe CS4 years. Installed on a macbook. MacBook died, got the new MacBook Pro, installed. Use a (mostly indesign) ton for my business, no problem. My hard drive crashed a few months ago. I reformatted the hard drive on my MacBook Pro, then used my old CS4 discs to reinstall the material with the old serial code. I opened indesign to start working on an older project (I was working on before the reformat) and it says that it cannot open this file because I'm missing the plugins? I have attached two screens (the other appears after I press OK first.) I get trying to open these files. And oddly, I opened old illustrator and photoshop files, no problem. It's just indesign?

  If it was because I didn't disable the software - and I'm on the 2 install limit? But I just spoke with someone at adobe and they said that it wasn't that. Adobe Updater says I have no update, I tried to search the indesign updates? I don't know and I'm a little panic please help!

• RH9 uninstalled, but cannot open the old project of RH8

  I have Robohelp 8 on my computer. I won Technical Communication Suite 3, which include RH9, in a draw and installed in a directory without removing RH8. Then I read that RH9 converts the files to a new format which is not backward compatible with RH8. It scared me, so I disabled and uninstalled RH9 and other components of the TCS3. RH8 remains on my computer, and I can run it normally. But when I tried to open an existing HTML project, I received a message that the project is in a new format which RH8 cannot read. So I unzipped a backup copy of the project, but got the same message with it too. I never opened the project in RH9, and I am sure that I never even launched RH9 on my computer before uninstalling it. So what the hell happens and how can I go back to the use of RH8? I hope someone can help me!

  Not sure why you would be skittish about the use of version 9, but whatever.

  Try to remove the. DPC to the project file and then it should reopen in version 8. Of course, a feature that is compatible that with 9 don't understand 8.

  I am trying to establish why this example gives me an error, it is intended to demonstrate the ability to return one data type other than a Boolean value to a UDF but doesn´t seems to work. Why is this? I'm using cfmx7 who shouldn´t of importance that the UDF are cf5 + thank you for any response

  I solved it. The main class of my loaded SWF needed to extend the MovieClip and it prolonged only Sprite.

  I send a hex on RS - 232 frame, I managed send/recieve char string my uri but the problem is that textbox displays only the characters so by GetCtrlVal or SetCtrlVal, I can only get and set characters but unfortunately I am unable to do the same thing with Formate of Hex data, for example I want to send a hexagonal 20 0xAA table , 0xAB, 0 x 10, 0 00, 0xAE, 0xFF, SSO WHEN I ATTRIBUTE such table textbox I see different forms but not my data hexadecimal, I used other tools to varify my data is correct but unfortunately Lab Windows is unable to help me with this, converting the whole range of 20 to a string and then the display is also another option but I am stll unable to do.

  (1) SetCtrlVal is not the right way to approach the table controls. The values must be inserted into table cells, not in the table itself. The appropriate command is SetTableCellValor SetTableCellRangeVals if you can organize your data in a digital picture. I suggest that you take a look at tablecells.prj example to understand how to manipulate the table. The example is in the \userint folder; you can locate it with the example finder (help > find... examples of menu)

  (2) user interface timers are managed by the UI thread: they can be influenced by all and every event in this thread. What you observe is normal behavior for standard timer UI events; worst case you Heve not observed so far is that if you click and drag a window UI timers are fixed all the time that you press the mouse button! A simple alternative to the UI timers are asynchronous timers , they are treated in a separate thread. Refer to the documentation I linked and examples that you can find with the finder example

  Yes if you format the drive it erases it's clean. Did you put the drive in the computer as the 2nd disc
  If the computer still starts off the coast of its original disk? It's easier to do on a desktop.

  You can save your files by putting the drive in another computer as a 2nd disk (best) or external
  Drive USB enclosure and then backup to removable media such as CD, DVD or another USB
  readers. Of course a real store of the computer or the manufacturer of your system can help to recover the files.

  Or you can use a boot Ubuntu CD to back up data. (This can be done with the player in the)
  original laptop. If the drive is viable (not totally dead).
